This is a very nice spot. It was groomed today. I twigs to get to Huguenot beach that was a challenge lots of big boulders and its not safe for a melanin sister according to the postal worker in the area... the residents may shoot at you if you cut thru their yard. This is why it's a challenge to get to. The directions from Google maps is not accurate there's another entrance but it's very hard to find, even the locals couldn't really explain. If you come please Leave. No. Trace.

Not the best beach on Staten Island but it is located in a great Wolfe's Pond park

The park itself is a nice place to walk through sone shaded paths in forest and listen to the bubbling of the brooks. The beach, uncrowded even during peak summer months is rocky and unpleasant to barefoot. Bring water shoes or walk on jagged, slimy feeling rocks until about 50ft from shore when soft sand finally makes a blessed appearance. Water is shallow for a very long way off shore.

I don't know why would anybody go to this beach. It's dirty, sharp stones in the water, water is very dirty, seaweed all over the beach, you habe to go good 20 feet at least to get to cleaner water. Water is definitely not kid friendly. This is officially the dirtiest beach i have ever been. Do not waste your time.

Beautiful park, beach, workout stations, something for everyone. Parking lot is not big, so make sure you come early. .

From a nice amount of tables and benches to have a BBQ or picnic. Trials that could be walked through its a beautiful site to see. They have bathrooms 🚻. You'll see some people fishing. I usually love riding bikes or even walking in the trails.

You leave noticeably "sandy" all over, but it's a quiet place off the beaten path compared to some other NYC beaches. Water is sometimes clear enough for a decent swim.

Great city park, dog run, splash park, playground, trails, bball, hockey rink. Red flags at beach this week, lifeguard shortage the lone lifeguard said.
