Best place to have a great look for sunset on Staten Island. The place is very unique and it is an attraction site for a lot of people. It was full of life and people who were careful using social distancing and masks all the way. We went during sunset and i was amazed by the beauty of the nature and took some good photos. I really recommend this place

A clean and beautiful park. Bathrooms open abs pretty well kept up. Plenty of places to roam around. Great place to see the sunset over the water. Even caught some deer roaming around.

I just love driving or riding here to walk the harbor looking at the sail boats and talking to the other people there. It's a happy place!

The sunset views are worth a visit. There is a lovely path to walk/ride, nice playground, quiet beach. Folks come to feel good, that’s how I see it

Very nice but not really a park, there's a beach on one side and a marina on the other. It was a bit chilly on Tuesday, probably more to do and see if summer.

Would be better if I wasn't stared at like I don't belong there Everytime I go there. I understand that it's in a predominantly white neighborhood on Hyland Blvd, however it seem to me that the only time the locals see ppl my complexion there; it's when the Parks Department comes to clean up the beach. I went there to get a piece of mind, not a energy so disturbing that the sound of the ocean couldn't drown it out... So sad...

Don't have enough employees to clean the bark and everything overgrow

We live on this side of the island for the past 2 years. Gateway is our salvation. We walk, bike, take the grandkids to the playground and beach. Just don't understand why the 2 boats are still in the water after Sandy. Army Corps of Engineers where are you?

It’s a beautiful place to get your mind of things. You can either park your car and walk around or you could stay in your car parked in front of a beautiful scenery.

Much of the green space of this park has been closed since 2005 due to radioactive waste being used as infill.
