Love this spot. Especially for group gatherings. The food is great, and even though it’s busy, we’ve always managed to find a spot even for large parties. My best friend even had her son’s first birthday party here with about 40 people dropping in and out around lunch time. Our recent trip this wknd has us ordering the chef Jeff brisket sandwich, fried chicken sandwich, Mac and cheese, and sausage stuffed with cheese and hot cherry peppers. Everything was fantastic. They put a bunch of meat on the sandwiches and the meat is great. The Mac and cheese is really creamy. And my boyfriend can’t stop raving about how great the stuffed sausage was. Their cocktails are also unique and made with super fresh ingredients. Love pig beach!

The ambience of this place is what wins more than the food. It has high ceilings, nice wooden tables and ample room for distancing from other parties. However, the brisket was a bit dry, collard greens plain, and drinks were okay. At least the mac and cheese was good and staff was friendly. The outdoor area is great when one can sit out although the Gowanus is not a great place to sit next to!

Great atmosphere, very local and friendly vibe. Extremely busy, so be prepared to scout about for a table as its first come first served. The food was very good, we shared a combo between 2 for $38. Good beer selection available also with indoor and outdoor seating.

The front of the restaurant now has umbrellas, high chairs and tables. The back has low benches with umbrellas to help with the sun. As soon as you enter they ask of you can stay for maximum 90 minutes. It was spacious packed in my 90 minutes. Food was quickly made, and good. Not a big fan of non baked mac and cheese. Drinks were good. The ready made cocktails were watered down. Great experience and service.

Literally just took food to go and besides a slight attitude from staff I found what appears to be a facial hair (beard most likely) in cornbread box and some of the food was extremely cold which is concerning to me. Mac and cheese very cold, was trying to get bites from the middle hoping for a warmer bite but nope. Pulled pork sandwich the pork also very cold which is a shame since it tasted good and the meat seemed nice and soft but again it concerned me how it was cold. Comparing to the collard greens which were steaming hot, it makes me wonder if there was a temperature issue today. Was looking for the right hangover food and this was not it. I can see why it could be good but no pride in what they serve at least to go. Maybe if u sit inside it’s a better experience.

All the boxes are empty cuz we ate it all. The ribs: solid 8/10. Wet, smoked, not falling apart but close enough. The chicken wings were a 8.5/10. Wings get smoked. I like flats. Dono if anyone else is of the “flat wing gang “ but the bigger bone came out first. Consistently. That’s a big compliment. Sad to hear this location is closing soon. Hope I’m wrong. Thanks Pig Beach.

Very famous place the essence of brooklyn. In warm weather, people celebrate holidays there with children and pets.Very friendly atmosphere. And even despite the fact that this is specifically a meat establishment. I did manage to find something vegan though, the bartenders make great drinks. In total I would love to go back .

BBQ is good, brisket is the best thing on the menu. I’ve been to the location and ordered delivery. Heads up on delivery - prices are $1-$7 more than the regular menu (small Mac n cheese is $7 dine in but $14 if ordering through ubereats). It’s a little disingenuous. Other than that, solid place.

Laidback barbecue restaurant with a great family feel on the Sunday we visited. Big indoor and outdoor areas, with both kids and dogs welcomed. We visited on a sunny October day and sat outside in the sunshine. Imagine the place is epic in Summer. Tasty food and good specials to go with at least 3 games of football on the TVs. Separate bar outside a great idea.

You order from the counter, they give you a pager and you seat yourself. Lots of tables and umbrellas. The food was delicious and was ready fast, within 10 minutes. We had the pork shoulder, brisket sandwich, hot honey wings, and the mac and cheese - all fantastic. There are two bars to order drinks. The music and atmosphere was excellent too.

This rating is about the venue itself, not food, since I didn't eat much. Lots of space especially outdoors, excellent people watching and dog-watching, decent selection of craft beer, frozen boozy slushies were tasty (albeit overpriced at $15/drink), and I didn't order food, but I liked the 2 items I shared: mac & cheese was satisfyingly smoky, cornbread was satisfyingly sweet

Went for a friends gathering on a weekday evening and the place was packed! There is an indoor section and an outdoor area with picnic tables lined up all around. The drinks line in the yard took a while, highly recommend their Loose Lucy if you are a vodka lover. Also ordered fries and brisket which were just alright. Their cornbread on the other hand was crispy and delicious. Great place to stop by and hangout just keep in mind that it can get packed easily.

Amazing staff and amazing BBQ! We ordered a lot of food and all of it was all amazing! The brisket and pulled pork was really moist and tender. They also have 4/5 different amazing sauces to accompany the meats. We ended up ordering more. They had some wings that were tossed in a spicy sauce that was really good. The sausage had cheese and was well seasoned. Their mac and cheese was very cheesy and topped with crushed goldfish!

Good vibe, doesn’t feel like you’re in NYC. Best bbq I could think of in this area, food’s great! also staff is nice. The cashier made a mistake, yet the kitchen crew still gave me the larger portion for no additional cost, good customer service! They beers are great as well. I like this location better than the one in Queens.

Went middle of a Sunday and surprisingly not full. Food was flavorful and not insanely priced. Brisket and Pork shoulder is great, collard greens are a highlight of the sides. Cocktails expensive but tasty.

The outdoor dining here is beautiful, but tables were a little dirty so we had to clean that ourselves. Came here last week with my boyfriend around 5:30, it wasn’t packed at all. We ordered the sample platter which was around $38 I believe, it was delicious. Ribs were both of our favorites. The two slabs of pork from the platter were dry though. The collard greens were $7 and too sour for our liking so we didn’t finish it. They had good sauce options, I enjoyed their honey mustard. Would definitely be coming back again. Service was great and fast! I ordered, went to sit down and it was already ready!

Wow, what a great place for all kinds of activities. Pretty good selection of beers, both on tap and cans. Amazing wings with some sting in them, and it looked like the brisket was smoked to perfection. Veeery crowded and a slow bar when we went, but that was when Team USA played against Netherlands in the World Cup. Great place, and I'm hoping their Astoria location is equally good.

We hosted our wedding at Pig Beach and it was fanatic! We reached out to Joely in February, 2022. She answered all our questions clearly and quickly, helped us plan the food and drink package estimate, and measure the tables so all the decorations would fit. She also showed us the venue a few times to coordinate prototype our designs of the table cards and slide shows, knock down the ceremony idea and the signature drinks. Joely is kind, professional, quick response and flexible. A few of our guests unfortunately had to bail due to COVID and flight cancellation, Joely was so responsive, understandable and helped us solve the problem instantly. We worked with multiple event planners and coordinators, Joely is absolutely THE BEST, and the most flexible and considerable event manager. The food and drinks were delicious! The ceremony went really well and everybody had a great time during the reception. The bar team did a fantastic job to make the drinks quick and delicious for us and our guests. Even when a wedding crasher came in around 9:40pm, the team found out and reacted instantly. We truly appreciate all the help and all the hard work Pig Beach did. All of the team made our special day even more special!

Easily the best BBQ I've had in NY. The brisket and ribs were so tender. Awesome vibe and can't wait to travel back down there

As a beer hall it works.. although the open air sometimes makes you soak up the smells of the Gowanus canal. From four visits the BBQ is always dry, sometimes to the point where even the sauce doesn't save it. The grill is less risky, but the best thing I've had here are the collard greens.

Great atmosphere and friendly staff! Ordered double burgers and pulled pork with fries and mac n cheese for sides. Really liked the cocktails - definitely try the gin berry lemonade! Make sure you split it with someone because it is a pitcher. Will definitely come back.

The food was extremely delicious! My visit was unplanned and now I plan to come again in the future. I recommend focusing on anything with meat! I had the hamburger with pull pork and a side of mac and cheese and fries. The large portion can feed 2-3 people so be aware of that. Overall, when I go back, I'll tackle more of the meat, cause the pull pork was phenomenal! Also the environment was really causal and friendly. I don't own a dog, but this is also a pet friendly place. 5/5 all around.

The BBQ is exceptional, as are the baked beans. Everything I have tried here has been quite tasty. The meat practically melts off the ribs, and the size of them is pretty impressive.
