It's a beach in the Bronx, I'd never come here in the summer but it's a good place to go in the off season. Huge park for the kids, but the parking lot if filled with D-bag doing burn outs in there cars. Nice place to go for a run!

A place for children to have fun

This is in Orchard Beach. We were walking the boardwalk and stopped by the end to look at the water and this day a couple was walking over the rocks and we were standing up watching them and the water and what's across the water on the other side. It's a great place too to let your dog run and get wet.

Both of my sons played here when they were young and loved it. Back then there were big brass pelican shaped sprinklers spouting water in the summer. hence the name. They're long gone -I'm sure some mongo seeking animals hacked them off and sold them off for scrap.

This is the church where I married the love of my life. It is beautiful, charming, everyone is so welcoming

I love this place, it's within the city yet such a big space to run around and play with the children. Also there are beautiful sea sight for jogging and playing tennis!

Variety of playgrounds for older and younger kids. Benches and tables inside play ground areas. It’s a great addition to the beach!

My granddaughter loves this park and so do we. We went today and played in the park with the snow. Awesome.

Really nice park for kids. Right by the beach. We walked unto the sand and put our foot in the water.. swings for all age kids. Very nice playground.

This beach is so family friendly and the ppl are so kind and have beautiful friendly children
