The price of the rooms ($700/night) is absurd for what you get. There was hair in our bed when we checked in and then again after we asked the hotel to change the sheets. The drinks on the rooftop were so sweet I left it untouched. Couldn’t drink it even after I watered it down. Didn’t help that we waited 20 minutes to get the drinks in the first place. They’ll say hi and bye to you 100 times as you walk through the lobby but won’t offer to help with your bags when you haul them in from the car (even though we opted for valet service). I’ve never seen a place so crawling with employees who are all doing nothing. Want to sit by the pool? $1,500 minimum. Want to make a reservation on the roof? $100 minimum. Their prices indicate a luxury experience but they don’t know anything about providing good service or anything chic.

The hotel is relatively new and hip but it’s located in a gritty area right next to a waste water treatment plant. Local amenities include a Walgreens and a couple dive bars across the street. The rooftop bar is cool and has nice views but if you’re over age 30, it’s probably not your scene. The staff were all very nice and friendly but the hotel itself is more flashy than functional. The rooms are tiny (you can barely walk around the bed), the blackout blinds don’t do their job and plenty of other details leave much to be desired (cheap hairdryers, no closets, no in-room coffee makers, and not even a water glass in the rooms). The pool area is very nice and the staff are very attentive. If you are a 20-something looking for an expensive, hip, getaway from NYC, this might be the ticket. But mature travelers with high standards may want to avoid. Update: Within 5 minutes of posting this review, I received a call from one of the managers, Margo, who wanted to know if there was anything they could have done better. I appreciate the hotel’s responsiveness and focus on service which is in keeping with my experience during our stay. However, I don’t think this place is for all travelers so I stand by my review. Many will love it, but it wasn’t for us.

The staff was so lovely! They were kind and helpful with all of my needs. I’m certainly going to return and tell all of my friends about it. I received excellent customer service! Shout out to April who provided my spa service! She was an excellent guide through everything. I was there for my birthday and she made it such a wonderful experience.

The hotel itself is fantastic. The staff was always pleasant and helpful, the room was great, the bed comfortable. I ordered room service (not too expensive but not too cheap either), which was very good. The pool was nice. I also used the spa services and spent some time in the sauna and receiving a wonderful massage. The main problem with the hotel, for me, was the location. It's quiet far from transportation and from any relevant activity, and the town was dead (I was there in early October). The beach was nice, though, and the hotel is really close to it (like 3 minutes walk).

Our flight was cancelled at JFK and we explored all nearby options by calling. The receptionist who took my call at this hotel was by far the most professional. Then we arrived at this hotel and the cleanliness and the continued five-star service was very much appreciated at 3am… particularly while traveling with 3 young children. The room was stunning with great views. Highly upgraded. The hotel stay turned my unpleasant experience at the airport into a peaceful one. Kudos to the staff at Rockaway. P.S. the restaurants and the pool at worthy of visits if you have time - excellent food and great pool ambiance.

The Hotel Manager Darren McLeod was incredibly accommodating and provided such exceptional service. I felt so at home and completely taken care of at all times. He kept coming around asking if we needed anything and kept refreshing the sauna with his special concoction of essential oils. The service alone makes this place worth the trip.

Attentive and friendly staff, great facility, clean throughout. My wife and I stayed one night for a staycation. Great views of the sea. We will come back and stay. The room was clean and cozy. Thank you to Punesh for the help. In addition, pool attendants were courteous and accommodating. However, do not use valet parking. The valet attendant and front desk did not disclose that there would be a charge. The hotel charged my wife and me, $50.00 to park the vehicle across the street.

I absolutely love The Rockaway Hotel. Easy street parking and one block from the boardwalk/beach. Room is small, but well equipped and smartly decorated. I got a room with a small balcony facing the beach. Margie's restaurant is delicious downstairs, and serves wonderful cocktails. Check the rooftop schedule for live music and hours. Pool is also gorgeous, and in the winter there are small saunas outside for guests. I enjoyed my spa experience, but did not think the massage was worth the price. Expensive rates per room, check the hotel website for special rates and offers.

This was a decent hotel for one night. Everything in the room was great, but I wish there had been somewhere to sit that wasn’t outside or the bed. But the bed itself was amazing, the bathroom was good, and the room was very very clean. The balcony was perfect, as well. The hotel itself is very clean but so much of the stuff around the building was very dirty and unappealing. It made me glad I was checking out after one night even though the room was so good. There also wasn’t a ton to see or do in the immediate area since it’s the off-season and seemingly very little for morning-risers to do. It is very close to the ferry stop, however, so it gets 5 stars there. Although I felt safe the first night I felt less comfortable when I was walking around the neighborhood the morning I checked out and the cops were chasing someone down and he was feet away from me. Service was decent. Some of the folks I spoke to were excellent, others definitely had a holier-than-thou vibe. A glass of rose on check-in was appreciated. Margie’s restaurant was decent although far too expensive.

The hotel had a beachy, but tasteful decor. The staff are honestly amazing! The front desk was warm, welcoming & helpful! It's rare to feel so genuinely greeted in NYC establishments. I cannot recommend their services enough. The GM helped me use the new sauna and the heated pool on a 38 degree morning in December. It was awesome!!

I hosted a small retreat at the Rockaway Hotel. My guests LOVED it! The views are beautiful. The suite was comfortable. Everyone enjoyed their spa treatments. Margie's was convenient and delicious. The saunas and outdoor heated pool in the winter added a unique touch. As a local, I'll be getting day passes to enjoy that more often.

Discovered this place on TikTok and decided to make the trip with 7 girls to celebrate a birthday and oh was it the best decision ever! The hotel rooms were super cute and clean and hotel staff was very accommodating and friendly. They voluntarily gave us adjoining rooms so that we could all be together which was awesome. The amenities (spa, sauna, pool, lobby etc) were all awesome and the front desk was very helpful, communicative, and friendly! 10/10 experience and would definitely go back.

We decided to do a stay-cation and after seeing the hotel in Good Day New York, we were sold. The Garcia's were ready for a Labor Day weekend at the Rockaway! Upon entering the venue is fresh and clean with great art. The Front staff is very nice and helpful (Daniel was a gem) and the Manager is incredibly sweet and welcoming. Now, for some cons, for almost $700 per night, we expected a fridge in the room, a bigger room, and the water filter system is hot. Pool side is nice, but gets very crowded and the cabanas have a minimum spend of $1500 (which is unreasonable for 2 guests) and some of the wait staff seem unhappy and are not too welcoming. However, during breakfast there is a Waiter (seasoned gentleman with a British accent) who was incredibly warm and attentive. Overall, it was a nice experience. The Rooftop has great views and music. The drinks are good and the staff is great. The 2 Jenna's provided great customer service. Margie's offers good food and a nice wine selection. We'd go back, but would definitely appreciate a fridge and some cool drinking water with better customer service at the pool side. PS - the ferry leaves you one block away and they do have complimentary beach chairs, umbrellas, and towels at Beach 108 for Rockaway guests.

I am writing to express my immense gratitude for the exceptional experience my now-fiancée and I had at the Rockaway Beach Hotel during the Christmas holiday. From the moment we arrived, the warmth and hospitality of your staff set the tone for an unforgettable stay. I had been meticulously planning a proposal for my then-girlfriend, and the nerves were certainly kicking in. However, the staff went above and beyond to make me feel at ease and provided invaluable assistance that transformed my vision into something truly magical. The attention to detail, coupled with the genuine kindness of your team, exceeded all expectations. Not only were the amenities top-notch, but the personal touch and willingness to help with the proposal arrangements were what truly set Rockaway Beach Hotel apart. The scenic beauty surrounding the hotel added an extra layer of enchantment to the festive season. The carefully decorated surroundings created a cozy and romantic atmosphere, enhancing the overall experience. Our families were equally impressed and appreciated the thoughtfulness that went into making our celebration so special. I cannot thank the Rockaway Beach Hotel staff enough for their outstanding service and support during this momentous occasion. Their genuine enthusiasm to ensure our happiness made all the difference, and I am eternally grateful. This hotel will forever hold a special place in our hearts, marking the beginning of a beautiful chapter in our lives. I wholeheartedly recommend Rockaway Beach Hotel to anyone seeking a memorable and magical experience. Thank you once again for making our Christmas holiday and engagement so incredibly special.

I may be partial after having my wedding here in 2021 (which was also flawlessly executed), but I love this hotel! My husband, son and I met friends for a staycation for two nights & couldn’t have been happier. Dinner at Margies was delicious, free yoga class for guests was just the right amount challenging, coffee shop & being able to swim in the winter can’t be beat. To top it all off, the staff is attentive and kind. Special shout out to Emily who goes above and beyond in her role! We can’t wait to go back.

Lovely hotel overall, spa and wellness package are great. Good service and location (if you have a car otherwise, it's a trip with public transport). The pool was not heated as advertised. They seem to struggle heating in winter, so beware! Saunas are alright.

We went to The Rockaway Hotel for the Spa day pass. We were welcomed from beginning to end by the hotel manager Darren McLeod. He went on and beyond to make sure we felt welcomed, safe, and over all have an amazing time. His attentiveness and bright smile made exceeded all our expectations. We are so thankful to have him there and tend to us and our questions. Truly recommend a stay and the spa for a relaxing time. The pool, sauna, and lounge area were so relaxing. Especially the oil mix Darren brought us at the sauna. The food at Margie’s was 10/10 recommendations especially the chocolate chip skillet. Definitely going back!

I had a stay-cation at the Rockaway hotel. The staff were so welcoming and nice. The pool, food options, atmosphere everything was perfect. I was worried that the room would be too small but it was fairly good size. Although the rooftop was closed while I was staying, the area was opened to see the ocean view and the city view. The hotel was decorated with a lot of modern art pieces and I absolutely loved to learn about each and every one of them. If you ask at the lobby, they can show you the full catalog too! Because I am not a morning person, I wasn't able to attend the yoga class but that would have been fun and we used the bikes to go on the boardwalk and we had a great time enjoying the beach. As someone who lives in the city, this is a great option for a quick getaway trip. Would highly recommend!

Me and my wife had a great time at the rockaway hotel spa. Staff at the spa was very informative and kind. The spa went above and beyond and let us use the pool when we we’re done with our massages. Sadly the management by the pool was very poor and unprofessional. All we wanted to do was take a dip as recommended by our masseuses. It was such a hassle. We found some unoccupied lawn chairs and got kicked off them because they were “reserved” when there was no sign indicating they were reserved . Then one of the supervisors told us to sit in a corner cabana that was designed for “spa customers”. That would have been nice, but there was already people sitting there. I asked if it was possible if i could just use one lawn chair so my PREGNANT wife could have a place to sit. Mind you there were plenty of lawn chairs unoccupied and we ended taking a table to eat out ordered food. In the meantime the supervisor was finding out how long the couple in the designated spa cabana had left so they could kick them out and let us in. Me and my wife are not one to ruin anyones good time so we decided to leave. Its pretty sad that a couple that spent $400 in spa services were not able to be accommodated with a chair to have a pregnant woman sit. Instead its somehow easier to kick out some older folks then to let us use a lawn chair.

This hotel is not only beautifully designed but also conveniently situated. Its proximity to the beach, just a block away, makes it an ideal choice for a weekend getaway in one of New York City's hidden gems. The hotel boasts an abundance of art throughout the premises, featuring high-quality pieces rather than typical decorative artwork. Additionally, there are multiple excellent restaurants and a rooftop bar, providing ample dining options. A welcoming café with delicious coffee and pastries is also available on-site. The pool area is stunning, and the lobby is well-appointed with comfortable couches and captivating coffee table books for guests to enjoy. The staff members were attentive and helpful, ensuring a pleasant stay.

A fantastic stay here with top tier service from all employees. The staff on the front desk was very kind and accommodating, giving us towels for the beach and some glasses of rose upon our return. My gf planned a surprise trip and mentioned to them it was my birthday. We entered the room to balloons on the bed and a hand written note wishing a great stay and happy birthday. Pool staff was extremely friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. With a very short walk to the beach, I would definitely return here for another stay.

Having found this resort from an online posting, which rated it very highly, I arranged my daughter's graduation get together which brought around 35 guests to the resort from all over the US. The events team was extremely responsive and worked hard to accommodate all our requests during the planning phase, especially because my daughter is wheelchair bound. What sets this hotel apart is the hospitality, which is often a much neglected aspect at most hotels/resorts. Everyone at the resort knows that their job is to make the customer comfortable and happy. It isn't just lip service at The Rockaway Hotel, and they will do almost anything to make you happy, whether you are at the pool (which was always inviting and warm), or if you had an issue with the room you are in. The reception to celebrate the graduation at the rooftop bar was expertly organized (the views of the city are just gorgeous), and the food was top notch. The hotel rooms could have a bit more space, but with so much this place has to offer, it is something that can be easily overlooked.

my wife and I stayed three nights at this hotel and overall we had a good experience -The rooftop bar had some magical views and was a very relaxing atmosphere . Daniel at the front desk was outstanding and the spa experience was wonderful -the couples massage was absolutely amazing. unfortunately the air conditioner in our room was not operating normally -it dripped water and sometimes you felt a drop or so hitting your face when laying in bed -we let the front desk know about it the first night we were there-although somebody did come to our room and look at it shortly there after, the problem never got resolved-that was very disappointing. unfortunately there is no valet parking and although they have their own parking lot , you have to walk about 10 minutes to get to it. our trip ended on a sour note-we waited over an hour to get our breakfast. The hotel ended up not charging us for the meal but it was a bad experience nonetheless and it was our last memory when leaving the hotel 😞

Very impressed with the spa at the Rockaway Hotel. I got a gift certificate and was so pleasantly surprised by the professionalism, the environment, the sauna , the use of the shower, and obviously the massage itself. Everything was perfect including the water bottle given at the end of your session . Can’t wait to go back in warmer months and use the outdoor heated pool . Such a hidden gem .

My wife and I recently got married at the Rockaway Hotel and our experience was amazing. The Hotel was the perfect venue for our special day in so many ways. I love how they have several different areas that can serve the different stages and needs of a wedding throughout the day. The staff was so helpful as well and made everyone feel accommodated. We still receive compliments from our guests about the service, ambience, food, and more. I highly recommend this venue for any couple who is getting married.

Excellent option for visiting Rockaway. This hotel is a cozy seaside town getaway in NYC. They have great amenities and programming year-round, clean property, chic design, impressive art collection. Some of the rooms may feel small, but they are well appointed and the beds are extra comfy. Your visit to The Rockaway Hotel is not meant to be an in room only stay, get out and explore the peninsula, eat, drink and have fun.

Came here for a midweek birthday celebration and had the best time with friends. The hospitality here is absolutely unmatched. Darren and his team were accommodating from our first correspondence and everyone was so warm and welcoming during our stay. We had an ocean view room which fit our party of four just fine. We loved our time by the pool, food was great and we were pleasantly surprised with live music in the afternoon (it was a Monday, afterall). We later enjoyed sunset at the rooftop bar and in the morning we took advantage of the complimentary services - rode along the beach in our cruisers followed by morning yoga. My only regret was the brevity of our stay - we agreed that we felt rested and rejuvenated after one night but we would’ve loved to stay for more! Shout out to Emily at the front desk for making sure we had everything we could possibly need, and thank you to John and Tom at the pool for making sure we always had drinks and shade! We will be back again before the season’s end.

My second time visiting this hotel. I'm a native of Farrockaway, so to see this hotel was refreshing. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. They give a glass of champagne as soon as you enter. Pool house is great and restaurant down stairs has fantastic lamb chops. Visit you won't be disappointed.

This is my second time at the Rockaway Hotel Pool and let me just say this place is such a gem!! The staff is so positive and and provide amazing service. Tom is the guy walking around the pool checking on the guests making sure we have everything and he is the absolute best!!! This is my spot and I will highly recommend it to anyone who wants to feel like they left NY and went on a mini trip to Miami. Thank you to everyone at the Rockaway Hotel for providing such a positive experience.

The ocean view from our room was stunning. The hotel is cozy, clean and steps away from the beach. My only con is the heated pool that was open but not heated. Former hotel employees informed me that the pool heater is often out of order mind you, the hotel charges a resort fee. In the off season there isn’t much to do in area or at the hotel and a warm pool was a big selling point for me. The hotel manager Emily was very accommodating when we complained but enjoying the warm pool we traveled for would have been better.

Had to book a room in order to use the amenities for wedding pictures after the planned location flooded from all the rain. On the day of the wedding I emailed the front desk agent my credit card information. 1 week later my credit card was used for purchases totaling about $2,500. I don’t use the card often. The last purchase was for the hotel room. Perhaps it is a coincidence. Beware!

Wonderful local getaway with a fantastic heated pool and spa! The staff was very helpful and courteous. The food at Margie's is phenomenal and the Shark Bite is my favorite cocktail served there. The spa staff was very attentive and lovely, and made me feel completely relaxed. Will definitely return!

We had a wonderful stay at The Rockaway Hotel. The staff stand out in a sea of phenomenal perks. Alina and the women at the front desk were so helpful, accommodating, and patient. We had several travel snafus and the RH team helped us check in early with a smile. I will go back here every time I'm in the area. An incredible contrast to the busy NYC streets. The views of Manhattan are stunning. The views of the Atlantic are magical - watch for dolphins! The pool is heated year-round, so start making plans or just find yourself here! Also, the boutique is too cute and the food was delicious.

Great experience with this fascinating modern little gem. Rooms are loaded with essentials and it’s all new and well maintained. Many spaces to hangout and chill. The adjacent restaurant is top notch. This hotel is surrounded by great little mom and pop style delis and restaurants. Rooms are energy efficient, so hot is hot and cold is cold. Shower and bathroom is very modern and well kept. Plenty of lamps and electrical outlets. Floors are solid and beds have drawers for extra space. I will def comeback during summer time. Highly recommend it.

Our flight home got cancelled and we found this hotel based off reviews. Thought it would be nice to be close to the ocean. Overall the room was small and incredibly cramped. The king size bed takes up 80% of the room. The balcony was nice minus the incredibly drunk girls in the next room that we could hear while they were on theirs even with our doors shut. The biggest issue was everything was closed after 10pm on a school day. The only pace we could get to deliver to the hotel in a decent amount of time was McDonald's.

My husband and I got married at The Rockaway Hotel in September 2021 and I can’t recommend it enough. Great location, beautifully designed and decorated both inside and out. The events team and staff at the hotel were a pleasure to work with. They made our wedding planning experience easy and fun. Maura Buckley was super helpful, patient and accommodating every step of the way. Our wedding day went down without a hitch and our guests were super complimentary of the excellent service and food. The hotel also works with a lot of excellent vendors that they recommend to you!

I'm a local who visits the hotel fairly often and definitely enjoy the food and the food service and the hotel's various restaurants. I have also stayed at the hotel and have recommended family and friends stay. I wish I could give the Rockaway Hotel a higher rating, but the bouncers at the front door give me a lot of pause in doing so. Unfortunately, for some reason, the bouncers have an extremely aggressive attitude and seem to assume that everyone walking through the door is up to no good. As a regular visitor I'm constantly surprised by their very rude approach. I've stayed at hotels in midtown Manhattan with less intense security. Hopefully management can give them better guidance on how to interact with customers. They're definitely a bad face to the company.

An amazingly friendly and helpful staff marked an amazing stay. They were able to accommodate me same day following a delay of flight and were very welcoming and kind. The addition of the in house spa, restaurant and bar was icing on the cake in my opinion. The room was clean and recently renovated with modern fixtures that made staying there feel more like a luxury. While the room had little space is was more cozy than cramped, and was overall an amazing stay. Very likely to visit again.

Our company hosted its first off-site meeting since the pandemic at the Rockaway Hotel in Fall 2021. The Hotel catered to all our needs including rooms for impactful meetings + breakouts, delicious + healthy food and beverages choices, and plenty of activities to stimulate the mind and body. Maura and her event planning staff were amazing to work with and really took the stress out of planning this 2 day meeting. They worked within our budget and even helped organize group events at other neighborhood establishments. The Rockaway is fresh, beautifully decorated, with an impressive art collection. Their staff was super accommodating while following all the safety protocols at the time. Our onsite event planner was attentive—checking in at various points during the day to ensure everything was to our satisfaction. The rooms were well appointed and had everything you would expect when traveling. We had access to different areas of the hotel which broke the “meeting” up really nicely. The location is ideal…easy to get to by car, subway or ferry. Phenomenal views of the beach and NYC skyline. The setting allowed us to really feel like we were away, but still so close to our NYC roots. During our 2 day stay at the hotel, we not only accomplished our business objectives, but we were able to re-energize our team by just being together. Be sure to ask Terrance to give your group a history lesson on Rockaway Beach and how the Hotel came to be…fascinating! The Rockaway Hotel will not disappoint any business or team looking to recharge and reconnect! Highly recommend.

Rockaway's latest gem, this hotel provides a complete, lively experience with its fresh, stylish ambiance and superb service, all packaged with substantial island charm. The team is extremely hospitable, knowledgeable, and amiable, making your stay all the more enjoyable. A yoga class and a spa treatment comes highly recommended, definitely making the journey or stay absolutely worthwhile. Although breakfast was just satisfactory, the lunch and dinner menus appear appetizing. Special shout-out to staff members Joseph and Margot for their phenomenal service!

So normally I'm not a huge review guy but this particular time, I must make the exception. This hotel was a true gem that I would've never expected!! My family and I stayed here for my sister in law's wedding. From the very beginning, the staff was extremely hospitable. It was apparent that any type of eye contact with the staff would result in a, "Do you need any help? or Can I get you anything?" The wedding staff was superb as was the food during the entire ceremony. Bartenders were thorough and expeditious. Jay and his staff made the wedding a true event to remember!! The following two days after the wedding were filled with outstanding cuisine from the multiple eateries (poolside cafe, Margie's and the rooftop lounge), pool parties with DJ's and continuous excellent service from the hotel staff!! I truly recommend this venue for events or just a family getaway!! My family and I cannot wait to return as my five year old twins say, "I miss the Rockaway Hotel!!"

I had my wedding there October 6. I can not begin to explain what a wonderful experience it was to work with the staff at this hotel. Jay - is an absolute professional who helps ease your stress. He was extremely knowledgeable and the most helpful. He truly loves his job and that is very clear by the way he treats the couples he works with. Without his guidance I would not have had the same experience . It was the best day of my life and I wish I could do it all over again. Maura - very transparent and helpful. She is quick to respond. Margo - she solved every room block issue and accommodated every request. The team there is amazing and the staff overall is down to earth and very accommodating. The food, the decor, the spa, the pool; there is no other place that provides that experience in NY. I highly Recommend for any event; especially weddings. Thank you so much for taking care of my family and myself during one of the most important days of my life.

Small but comfortable room. Pool & pool bar very nice. Close to beach and not too far from ferry. Decent food options nearby. Staff was helpful, although they did make an error and booked another visitor to our room while we were still there. There were a number of events held during our stay but the room was able to filter out most noise. Stayed in oceanview room with terrace. A full hotel wouldn't give much privacy and the room with king bed offers little indoor space. No space to unpack - no dresser or closet. There were two under-bed drawers, one contained a safe, and the other I was unable to get open. Terrace was comfortable, although the concrete floor was very dirty. Housekeeping did a very good job inside the room & bathroom. Would stay there again.

Love the space! The decor was modern and clean. The food was delicious and the staff including our lovely host, Maura were accommodating and attentive to our executive team. We had some AV issues during our meeting and there is not many options in the area (yet), but other than that, it was a great experience.

Great weekend getaway! Hotel has a terrific energy and fantastic staff. Rooftop views are awesome - 360’ sunset - ocean and nighttime city view all from the rooftop bar. The food is amazing! Rooms are very comfortable. Definitely going back!!!

Had an amazing 50th Birthday celebration at the hotel’s rooftop bar. Beautiful ambiance with views of both the city skyline and ocean. The food and cocktails were incredible. The staff was so accommodating and professional and all my guests couldn't stop raving about how wonderful it was. I’m so glad I chose to celebrate my milestone birthday here. I can only imagine how wonderful weddings and other major celebrations must be here. 11/10 , I highly recommend.

The best spa day! Definitely a hidden gem in Queens! Mecca, who runs the spa was SO kind and helpful, Gary the massage therapist was on point, absolutely amazing. The facilities themself were brand new, state of art and immaculate. The pool lounge was really nice and chic. The restaurant, Margie’s, was delicious and the staff was so kind! The entire hotel itself was gorgeous and smelled amazing. From what I could see they offered all their guest checking in a glass of champagne. Overall a 10/10, cannot wait to come back!

Extremely patient and kind staff, they were very understanding and accommodating. My younger brother is autistic and he jumped behind the counter and started pouring himself orange juice and they handled the situation extremely well. This location is also beautifully decorated and has really nice private outdoor sauna booths by the heated pool. Would highly recommend!

Great new hot spot! Tucked away in Rockaway, this hotel offers a clean, trendy, fun, full experience with excellent service and serious island vibes. The staff members are all welcoming, informative and super friendly. I highly recommend a visit along with a yoga class and spa treatment - totally worth the trip/stay. Breakfast was just OK, the lunch/dinner menus look good. Staffers, Joseph and Margot, are awesome!

Amazing! As you as you walk in you get transported to a private island. All the staff was super friendly, the hotels aesthetics.. beautiful! We were surrounded with Art work, lush plants and the hotel takes complete advantage of its location… almost every window we looked out was an amazing beach view. We only spent one night but it felt like a week on some Greek island with an equally amazing and relaxing beach club with a heated pool. The drinks amazing and the food delicious! This hotel is a hidden gem in the Rockaway’s and I’m definitely coming back!

Cool hotel with a hip scene - good food and drinks - loud music that makes you want to dance! Get out and have some fun! Good rooms - a little pricey but worth the good time!

The staff is super attentive. We had an amazing time at the pool all day. We saw a concert on the roof at night and the whole weekend couldn't be beat. My wife and I are 40 years old and we loved the scene, the food, and everything about it.

My recent stay at the Rockaway Hotel for my engagement party was an experience beyond compare. I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to the incredible staff members who made our visit truly unforgettable. Erica, Lisa, Murphy, Darren, and Kelsey, in particular, went above and beyond in treating our family with the utmost respect and love. From the moment we checked in, it was evident that the staff at the Rockaway Hotel takes hospitality to another level. They not only made our stay comfortable but also showered us with kindness and attention to detail that was simply heartwarming. Erica, Lisa, Murphy, Darren, and Kelsey, in particular, stood out for their exceptional service and genuine care. They made us feel like part of their extended family and went to great lengths to ensure that our engagement party was a resounding success. Due to the exceptional treatment we received during our stay, my partner and I have decided to host our upcoming wedding at the Rockaway Hotel. We can't think of a better place to celebrate such a momentous occasion, and we are confident that Erica, Lisa, Murphy, Darren, Kelsey, and the entire staff will make it a day to remember. Thank you, Rockaway Hotel, for an outstanding experience. We eagerly anticipate returning to celebrate our wedding day with the same warmth and hospitality that made our engagement party so remarkable.

We had a wonderful experience! Mira was so incredible in helping us to arrange our stay. We had some circumstances that required special consideration and she went above and beyond what could have been expected. Alina made sure that everything was perfect during our stay. These two individuals couldn't have been more kind and helpful. We will definitely be back!!

My friends and I had a wonderful weekend celebrating my birthday! We could do everything at the hotel there was no need to leave but we did enjoy bagels across the street and a walk down the beach. Booking the rooms were so easy, all of the hotel staff are lovely and made our stay extra special by helping us book all of our reservations at the restaurants, spa, and roller disco. They went the extra mile leaving me hand written birthday wishes and balloons in our room and at our dinner table and comping multiple deserts and drinks during our stay. The heated pool and sauna were so relaxing and the host at the pool's lounge made sure to get us a cozy little spot as quick as possible even when they were very busy. We also got treatments at the spa and left feeling so relaxed. Highly recommend staying at The Rockaway based on the staff/service alone.
