While
the
price
was
reasonable
and
the
staff
were
friendly,
I
unfortunately,
was
subject
to
carelessness
which
resulted
with
the
top
surface
area
of
my
nail
being
sanded
down
so
thinly
that
I
began
to
bleed.
My
finger
the
next
morning
is
still
throbbing
and
sore.
The
technician
was
apologetic
and
careful
with
the
rest
of
my
nails,
but
my
entire
appointment
was
stressful
and
unenjoyable.
I
came
in
to
have
my
gel
removed
and
get
a
new
set
of
gel.
While
my
gel
was
a
thicker
style,
I
would
hope
that
a
technician
would
be
trained
in
all
styles
of
gel,
and
know
what
to
do
in
this
situation,
or
say
I'm
sorry
I
am
not
skilled
in
this
and
let
me
move
onto
a
different
studio/technician.
I
have
never
had
this
be
an
issue
with
my
style
of
gel
and
a
salon
not
being
able
to
safely
remove
it
without
injury.
Additionally,
I
decided
not
to
get
gel
and
instead
a
cuticle
clean
up
and
clear
coat.
My
cuticles
are
still
very
torn
up
and
not
clean,
and
the
clear
coat
was
put
on
hastily.
Besides
the
filing
which
retained
my
shape
and
length,
nothing
was
done
with
quality.
My
technician
was
friendly,
and
thats
about
it.
I
was
then
given
the
full
bill,
I
did
not
feel
comfortable
asking
for
a
discount.
I
was
only
one
in
the
salon
and
felt
pressured.
I
paid
in
full,
understanding
they
are
simply
trying
to
make
a
living.
But
it
was
a
very
very
disappointing
and
painful
experience.
My
nail
is
completely
damaged
and
this
will
take
months
to
heal
(since
its
the
top
surface
of
my
nail
and
will
have
to
grow
out).
While
I
don't
think
this
is
a
common
situation,
I
would
just
suggest
to
your
staff
to
be
a
bit
more
careful
and
slow
down
and
be
mindful
of
all
types
of
nails.
