🫤 We really wanted to like this restaurant, we were super excited about trying vegan Italian food which is so hard to find usually. We ordered the arancini and the stuffed peppers for appetizer. The Arancini was ok- my girlfriend felt it was a little undercooked but wasn’t terrible. The stuffed pepper... The servers were really nice and the garlic bread was good, but I was shocked when my sweet pea ravioli came out. There were only seven pieces despite it being labeled as an entrée. I literally had to eat dinner somewhere else afterwards because I was still hungry

We really wanted to like this restaurant, we were super excited about trying vegan Italian food which is so hard to find usually. We ordered the arancini and the stuffed peppers for appetizer. The Arancini was ok- my girlfriend felt it was a little undercooked but wasn’t terrible. The stuffed peppers felt very tart and we chalked it up to too much balsamic (Up until now we were very forgiving). For the entre we ordered the gluten free smoked sugo and tagliatelle truffle. The smoked sugo was really the worst pasta I have eaten. First, the pasta was super dry with hardly any sauce. The menu said it contained smoked tempeh- but I couldn’t find it and asked the waiter. He pointed to micro bits of something in the sauce and said that’s the tempeh. There was no vegetable- it was basically a thick bland sauce with very chewy pasta. After a few bites I literally was choking on my food and had to drink lots of water to force it down my throat. The tagliatelle was cooked better, but tasted of pasta water…again it had no vegetables, just pasta in some sauce. My gf couldn’t take it and ordered the clams dish with gluten free pasta , which was basically like pasta in a weird broth. Very disappointing. The servers were overworked and I felt bad for them as they were running around trying to serve an almost full restaurant. The food was possibly the worst Italian food I’ve had in a long time. Being vegan I really wanted to support a plant based restaurant, but after spending 75$ on a terrible meal, I cannot bring myself to support this.

What can I say that hasn’t been said 😌 I’m in love We came half an hour before they closed (sorry!) and sat outside. The service was fast but polite; I was far from mad at it. The food arrived lightning fast and it was DEVINE omgggg I love a spicy noodle and this did not disappoint. The other pasta (I don’t remember the name but the pesto colored one!) was SO SO good, like vinegary and flavorful, a taste you won’t forget! The cook was a super lovely person to chat with as well; you can tell he’s passionate and talented with his art. I truly can’t wait to come back and try more dishes!

Everything was delicious! I highly recommend you get some of the focaccia bread both because it’s amazing and also because you’ll want it to help you eat all your pasta’s sauce! Will definitely be returning. (The photos are all tinged red because we were under a heat lamp to stay warm!) very friendly and attentive service. They also have kits for you to make their pasta at home!

Great service and delicious food. A friend and I met up to have dinner there. We got happy hour drinks and split some apps. We ordered the stuffed peppers, arancini and the garlic bread (which our waiter suggested) I got the pasta ala vodka and my friend ordered the mushroom truffle tagliatelle. The food was absolutely delicious, my gluten free pasta tasted like it was gluten-filled. My only wish was that the pasta dishes had veggies in it. It was just pasta and sauce which is fine but not substantial by itself. You need to order apps. Will definitely back because the service was excellent.

Finally visit SESTINA after being a fan of Double Zero. Matthew Kenney also impressed. The pasta was excellent. There were so many options and our waiter was so excited about each of them. The only negative were the cocktails. They were overly experimental and either lacked flavor or were so vegetable first that the bitterness covered the flavor. I’m excited to come back and explore the salads. They looked amazing and I regret not ordering them.

Amazing experience - absolute must for both vegans and omnivores alike! Service was top notch, both pleasant and attentive. The Italian flavors came through surprising well - my favorite was the kale pesto and the rigatoni arrabiata. We went for a special occasion but is a great date night as well for its cozy but joyous atmosphere (most seated tables were 2-4). This was high on our list and we were thrilled to have enjoyed the pasta bar; it's well worth the visit! ig: @harshaeats

Good food and amazing staff. We showed up 15 minutes before restaurant closing and they didn’t rush us to leave at all. Very unique flavoring (choconip and raspberries I believe) in old fashioned.

I forgot to take pictures of the actual dishes because we scarfed them up really quickly! I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone, vegan or regular. This is such a great option for those who are dairy-free or vegan, since many of these traditional items can't be enjoyed by those diet restrictions...but regardless of that fact, the food is divine. The pastas we had were hands-down some of the most delicious we eaten anywhere. order a side of garlic bread, it's delicious and you can dip it in you sauce..Flavorful sauces and perfectly cooked pasta al dente. The cocktails were also exemplary. The waitress brought me the wrong drink, but I didn't complain because it was so delicious! It can get very busy at times!

Loved that there were so many delicious vegan pasta options. It was so hard to make a decision! Ambiance is nice as well. We got the stuffed peppers to start. They were not my favorite dish, something missing from a flavor profile. I was very happy with my mushroom pasta dish, forgot the name but the shiitakes mimicked clams. Had the hazelnut dessert and it was yummy. Would definitely come back! Sustainability rating: 4 out of 5 (above average). Reusable utensils and dinnerware and environmentally friendly straws.

Good vegan pasta. The Caesar salad was very good. Also recommend the garlic bread. I didn’t love the pasta that I ordered because of the olives, but all of the other pastas also sounded very good. It’s nice to be able to go to a vegan pasta place. Nice selection of drinks and wine also.

Sestina was such a surprise! I’m very picky when it comes to vegan pasta dishes, but they were pretty good! We started off with the Arancini, which was my favorite dish of the evening. The sauce was great with the garlic bread and the filling was so yummy. I got the Tagliatelle Truffle, which was super creamy but could have used a bit more soft. The Sweet Pea Ravioli was also ordered and the texture was wonderful!

Went there for my birthday dinner yesterday and I fully enjoyed the truffle tagliatelle with garlic bread and also the hazelnut dessert was bomb! Both my guests didn’t like the “clams” pasta at all.

Absolutely amazing! Couldn't make up my mind and got two dishes. Everything was amazing! Would highly suggest going here and can't wait to go back.

Amazing!! Every pasta we tried was superb, as were the cocktails. So great to have so many amazing vegan pasta options - we've been there with non-vegan friends and everyone absolutely loved it. And they do happy hour!

Delicious vegan Italian restaurant! Also offers non alcoholic drinks without sugar. Apparently their waffle for brunch is refined sugar free so we are looking forward to returning to try it!
