This is a tough call with this restaurant. On one hand, the food was pretty good, but on the other hand, it was overpriced for the portion sizes you get. On top of that, the service was very mediocre. Almost like we were imposing on the young guy working. He just wanted to stand with his co-workers on their phones up near the kitchen. Wasn't a very welcoming environment. I had to go and ask about paying since we waited a good 15-20 minutes after finishing our meals. Wouldn't recommend, simply based on the service, prices and portion sizes. The decent food wasn't worth it. 1/5. Follow me for more reviews, photos and tips.

Delicious food, extensive menu with lots of different options, great service. I loved it the menu being able in a tablet with pictures of everything. The images make it much easier to understand what each option includes. Lots of veggie options ❤️

Quaint little restaurant with staff that made you immediately felt welcome. Food, esp. hummus and Baba Ganoush (Salat Hatzilim) was very authentic. The char broiled eggplant with tahini sauce, roasted pine nuts and pomegranate was my favorite. Many vegetarian/vegan options and many dishes suitable for gluten free needs.

Tasteful! Wonderful! Amazing! I like to much this cuisine and Hummus Kitchen give all the flavor I could remember from Israel and Middle East food! Perfect to go alone or in small group.

Let me tell you how i found this gem. We went to Bua, very famous thai place just beside this restaurant and had very bad appetizers and decided to leave. I left a review to theirs if you wondered what happend. It was raining, saw this place just beside so walked in. Pros: Very clean. Service was quick. Food was A+++++ Dude seriously me and my friend finished our plates with no discussions. Cons: Drinks can be improved. We called the food “ amma chethi vanta” in our language Telugu, which is Mom’s home food. It was that good and gave home feels. Atmosphere gavd moroccan vibes.

Ordered from GrubHub two Shawarmas with fries and cauliflowers. First, my wife and I got a stomach ache from the food. Second, the Shawarma came cold and had very little meat. So disrespectful. Third, the fries came wet and cold. I told GrubHub about these problems, and they have decided to refund the money to us. Today I received a call from a guy that asked me, rudely, why I canceled the order. I told him what was the problem but I guess he didn't like to hear that so he hung up the phone. I called again and asked for the manager, and the same guy told me he's the owner. Apparently, customer service isn't good, neither is the food. AVOID THIS PLACE

Always love eating the food here. Usually order on Seamless but today I dined in and had an amazing experience. Karin was so sweet and the soup of the day was perfect!

We dined in. Service was excellent, fast, efficient and welcoming. The food was okay, nothing special or unique small plates like we ordered, but it was pretty overpriced. The beet salad is served warm; I expect it to be served cold. Most say the pitas were delicious, and we would try another location for a comparison; hopefully, it will be better. Remind me very much of a different hummus spot established before them; I would say a copy-paste.

Stumbling upon Hummus Kitchen in Kips Bay, Manhattan the weekend before Christmas was such a hit!!!They happily seated our large party of 6 without a reservation. Their outdoor seating area was comfortable and toasty. Their staff was personable and attentive, bringing us fresh olives and pita while we decided what to eat. The food and drinks were INCREDIBLE. Our group basically sampled the menu. Everything from the Shawarma Hummus to the Petite Chicken and even the dipping sauce were remarkable. We will definitely be back, and I highly recommend.

Great food and service, the Lunch Special is a good deal. Good flavors and I wanted to keep going but I had to bring the rest back to the office with me. They also have seating outside with shade.

Went for lunch and was able to get to get a seat quickly. Our server was friendly and had great recommendations for the Mazze trio. The lunch portions were also decent size. Overall the food was tasty.

I had decided to go back to this restaurant after having a not so great experience the first time around, but today I realized it was just a one off. I had an amazing time today and I will definitely come back again, the waitresses along with the owner were very tentative and they were very kind. The atmosphere was lovely and the food was amazing!!! I’m really glad I was able to make it back here 10/10 highly recommend:)

I’m not an expert obvi but this tasted pretty damn authentic. Got the mazze trio (baba ganoush, hummus, and falafel) for an appetizer and the chicken kebab platter for the entree. Only complaint I’d say if that the chicken kebab didn’t have many chicken pieces

10 stars. Food was outstanding and I am a hummus connoisseur. Pita was out of this world. The food came out in less than 10 minutes and was super fresh. Service was excellent. 11/10 recommend. Very reasonably priced, as well!

I used to live in the area. And ordered couple of times from this place . It used to be great. Now I live in NJ so I was in the city and decided to get Hummus Kitchen. I went to this place again . Ordered chicken couscous shuck I knew was good, salad and soup. I had to drive for 50 min and was surprised that food didn’t smell good. Chicken couscous and is so bad ,it looks completely different like it used to be. Salad for $14 they just chopped tomatoes and cucumbers and put a small dressing crazy for $14. I paid $46 for my diner it’s all going to garbage. Unbelievable.

Do not go here if you have a gluten allergy. Ordered over the phone and they said they had gluten free pita for the sandwiches. Called a few days later to make a reservation and double check that it was gluten free and the woman on the phone said they had no gluten free pita at all. One day it’s gluten free and the next days it’s not. Doesn’t make sense. Take time to educate your employees!

Chicken shawarma tacos were so yummy. Definitely prefer them over the lamb tacos. Hummus and tzatziki were also delicious and complemented the tacos well.

Came to this location and ordered the mazze trio to start and chose falafel, hummus and babaganoush which came with warm pita. We got their homemade lemonade with mint leaves which was very refreshing and some red wine. As an entree I got the chicken shawarma platter with couscous which was filling and delicious. We ended with the kitchen kadif, halva parfait on shredded filo dough. Everything was really good, the ingredients were very fresh and the meal was satisfying and healthy. It's vegetarian/vegan friendly. I recommend checking it out.

Frozen sangria, hibiscus tea and some of the best hummus I’ve EVER had-served with warm pita! This place is amazing- the food, the service, the atmosphere. Also had a falafel wrap that was outstanding!

Great quick service, delicious Schwarz a hummus and warm grape leaves. As a Lebanese, I appreciate this restaurant- very delicious. The only improvement I could imagine is if they have the Lebanese cabbage rolls from Emily’s Lebanese Deli in Minneapolis MN (I highly recommend the owner calling to get the recipe!). Overall, excellent experience.

Great Israeli restaurant! The beef kebab on cinnamon sticks is really flavourful, the shakshuka with ground beef was delicious and the hummus was great as well. They even had 3 types of kosher-for-passover breads. Very recommended!

This place is always so fresh and delicious. My go to is the Salmon kabab which is cooked to perfection, Turkish coffee and Malabi for dessert which is vegan. The staff is super nice and Jarvis is always so welcoming and will take care of your table so well. My friends love this spot too. Chicken shawarma and hummus is one of their favourite too.
