There is a song where Justin Timberlake says "Damn, girl" way too many times. I think it;s from the Summer Love album. Why do I mention this in the first two sentences of a review about a gluten-free cafe space in New York City, you ask? Because the chicken caesar salad wrap tasted like such a regular frickin' wrap that all I could think of was Justin Timberlake's 2006 attempt to sound seductive in one of his 9 or so songs. Every bite was just a nostalgic callback to the time when I felt comfortable enough to eat regular food. twentyonegrains even includes croutons that, when mixed with the dressing and cheese, produces a mouthfeel that is similar to the real thing. The customer service was wonderful, too. I forgot to request a wrap, and only mentioned a chicken caesar salad. After I remembered that I forgot, I requested a wrap, and the employee gracefully made the change. twentyonegrains was a wonderful place, and it also gets a thumbs up for its sustainability practices. The packaging used less plastic than other places in the surrounding area. I also recommend visiting this place because of the food hall the restaurant is in. There are other food establishments in this food hall that have very different styles of food you might be able to enjoy! I'll be back to twentyonegrains for a few meals in the fall!

Ordered an avocado toast for pickup via their Toast website. Overall decent: fresh avocado and eggs, but the bread was not toasted / a tad hard. It was a nice hearty grain toast but just wish it were warmed up to be a tad softer. all gluten free!

Walking by this wonderful urban food space I chose 21 grains for lunch. The menu items are fresh, raw, organic and original. Chose the cauli salad and added salmon - SO GOOD! The line moves quickly- the staff behind the counter are friendly and attentive. Will definitely be back. Added a beer from a nearby bar for a little kick to the day!

Incredible selection of food. Lots of healthy vegetarian and vegan options. Of course, it's an incredible choice for anyone on a gluten-free diet. The staff was very helpful. Be warned that this is in a food hall and seating for a larger group may be hard to find.

Tourist in town for the week here. Didn't have any idea where to eat until I happened upon this place in the Urbanspace on 52nd. I ordered the Portabello Toast, and Quinoa with a Kick bowl to go. I was pleasantly surprised. The toast was savory, and the bowl tasted phenomenal. It filled me up, without making me feel gross-full. Would eat here again!

I should’ve been made this review but anyway this is my favorite spot to come to lunch when at work. The guy that works in the evening is the best! He’s always nice doesn’t take long even when I make up my own combinations with the food lol affordable I’m glad I came to urban space because I never would’ve known about this place. However you make that spicy ceaser dressing it needs to be bottled up an sold. It’s my favorite to put on everything don’t judge me .

Love love love this spot. I had the Buffalo cauli wrap and was so impressed by how crispy yet tender the cauli stayed in the wrap. And the sauce!!! Hope they open more locations in the city!

Everything at twentyonegrains in gluten free, which is amazing. It is located in a food hall, not open on the weekends. I had a salmon quinoa bowl. It was good. I consider this fast food but healthy.

100% gluten free, great for celiacs. Really tasty wraps and salads. I'd recommend the Caesar salad and the spicy Caesar salad salad wrap. It is located in a food hall with seating on the 2nd floor.

Delicious spicy chicken Caesar wrap. Awesome to find while wandering. Inside a small, cute food market with lots of other options and plenty of seating. Big windows to watch world go by.

Excellent option for a healthy and tasty meal. After trying the Spicy Caesar Chicken wrap I'm excited to check out some of the other menu items. 21 Grains clearly uses high quality ingredients and has some great variety to their menu.

Had a healthy and hearty salad here with the slamon. Super fresh. I've found it hard to get fresh fish with a salad in New york prior. Found my new local.

Cashier was kind and knowledgeable about the food. Ownership was running the location very well from what I could tell. The food was refreshing and flavorful! Will definitely be coming back whenever I am in the area πŸ‘πŸ½

If I could post without providing a star, I would. This place is disgusting. I ordered quinoa with a kick an it was cold and awful. Please spend your money else. Your palette will thank me later.

This place gave my friends spoiled food. They used to have a good menu but then they changed it. Downhill from there.

Very quality food - super clean, healthy and flavorful. 21 Grains is Gluten-free and still packs a punch. I ordered the Crisp Couli and added chicken. The chicken was delicious and the bowl was the perfect size!

The artistry and tasty food is something New York has been waiting for. Try the chia ricotta toast and the kale salad with their signature grain mix. Healthy filling food that is cooked with care and attention to detail. Thank you for a delicious lunch. A return customer for sure.
