The store is phenomenal and busy you can see all the Nintendo characters you love there. The employees and so friendly , knowledgeable, and helpful. Kids play demo games on big screen, which was a great idea to see if my kids were ready to buy their Nintendo or not. There are some book collectoons in the store to choose from. The second floor is very exciting, so don't stuck with the first floor only. My kids and I really have a great time there. It was a great experience for the whole family.

The Nintendo store feels like a museum. It's full of special edition items and epic decor that immerses you into the world of Mario. Plus, it is a good place to test out games for free.

My son is a huge mario fan and was so excited to go there. There was a long line, but they got us through quickly. The staff was very nice and listened attentively has my over excited 8 year old talked about how much he loved Mario and all the games he had. It was a very unique experience and we had a blast.

More than a store, it is an experience. Nintendo fans would truly enjoy this "temple", which includes exhibits that could belong in a museum. Staff was super friendly. I give it 4 stars because the floor seems a bit empty. For such a fabulous place, the merchandise feels scarce. Not a single kids apparel piece under Animal Crossing... very few in other sections. Other than that, I enjoyed visiting the Nintendo Store!!

Super cool experience! The staff was very nice, even told us to take pictures and enjoy the Nintendo experience. The prices were actually very correct, not overpriced just because you are in a flagship store. For the kids, there are even a few game consoles they can play on. Be warned, though, the items are really cool and your kids might want you to buy everything the store has to offer!

Super cool to see in person! The staff were really helpful and I liked being able to walk through the exhibits upstairs to see the history of the brand. In terms of merch, wish there were more Animal Crossing villagers to choose from or Princess Peach items 👑 👸🏼

It’s a fun store! They have pokemon and other Nintendo game goods and game related stuffs. On the second floor, they have experience zone that you can play games. Products didn’t seem too overpriced and it was cute. I recommend here to visit sometime! It was a fun experience!

Immaculate vibes. If you’re a Nintendo fan, this place is a must visit. It’s probably going to be busy, and the space is smaller than you’d think, but it’s so much fun anyway. The staff members I interacted with were so helpful and friendly, and they let me know about the check in feature so I could earn rewards points for my purchase and for my visit. I didn’t know that was a thing at all, so I definitely appreciated the assistance. I’ll be visiting every time I’m nearby, that’s for sure.

A little bit disappointed with the amount of licensed merchandise. The shop was almost half empty, there were not a lot of stocks around. It might be well decorated, but there's not a lot of stuff to buy or to do. It's still a must if you like Nintendo's world.

First and only Nintendo store in USA, it’s magical. Plenty of gadgets, consoles, games and fun stuff. I loved the Nintendo consoles exhibition on 2nd floor. Reasonable prices, clean location and very friendly staff. Definitely a must if you’re visiting New York.

Definitely a go to when I’m the city. Enjoyed the vintage console displays and the kids enjoyed the stuffies. There were board games and Lego style sets and clothing and more. Loved the character displays for photos and a chance to speak with Mario on the second floor. The tables with different games and consoles were fun as well. Had fun trying a few different games. Good prices as well!

Went here for a trip and had great time. I loved that they had plushies of all the different characters like pikachu, Kirby and Toad. I also liked that they had interactive areas where you can play the games with the Switch controllers and also talk to Mario in an interactive video. Would definitely go again, I highly recommend.

Smaller store than I had imagined. I thought it would be bigger but it did have a nice selection of games and merchandise for sale. The workers are friendly and are willing to help with your needs. Wish the elevator worked though.

The line was long to get in the store on Black Friday, but it moved fast and we got inside in 10 mins. The prices in the store were great, not expensive like I thought they would be. The interactive Mario display was awesome.

Fantastic if you like videogames. Really good place for all ages who enjoy nintendo world. Pokemon, Mario, Zelda... Plenty of games to play even in a huge screen, souvenirs, toys etc. For me the best is that it has a little "museum" of all the Nintendo consoles since the beginning of Nintendo.

First time going to the Nintendo Store and they had a decent collection of items. Their consoles were off limits due to covid, but they had one game they were debuting that they let people try out. Other than that, nice place and would go again if I had the chance.

The staff was absolutely wonderful and did a great job in helping me with the problems I had (ty so much Ed!) The store was very clean and the kind and polite security made sure that everything was orderly. I won't comment on much else because you get almost exactly what you expect when you come to this Nintendo store. This was a fun experience, and I hope to come again in the near future with some friends and family.

Two floors of Nintendo retail that was enjoyable, but not as much of an experience as I would have expected. There is plenty of clothing, t-shirts, and other wearable items that are neat, if you're looking for that kind of stuff. There is a really cool display that has all the products in the evolution of the Gameboy and handheld systems. There is also a few big Mario characters on display. Otherwise, you're not getting much of anything more here at the store.

Low key a dream come true being here, really hard to contain my excitement as an adult. If you like Nintendo things you have to come here! Merchandise, video games, life sized characters for pictures, this place has it all 😍

This is the only official Nintendo store that’s open to the public in the US, so it’s really special. I’ve been going here for over 10 years and it’s still fun to visit! There is usually a line to wait to get in due to COVID restrictions but it moves pretty quickly. It’s a great place to pick up games and cute Nintendo exclusive merchandise.

What a fun place for Nintendo fans! Many photo shooting hot-spots in the shop with your favorite characters. The ‘wall of game console’ just brings you down the memory lane! The staffs are very friendly and always offering helps when needed. The signature New York Nintendo apparel will definitely make some great souvenirs.

We were a bit disappointed as we had a different expectation. The location is not easy to find. The design of the store is a bit dark inside and not all games are available. We missed the Nintendo flair, we expected. Positive is, that you can try out games on the upper floor.

A must visit for all fans of the Nintendo franchise, the Nintendo store does not disappoint. It displays and sells merchandise from all of its major franchises such as Mario, Zelda, Pokémon. Perhaps more impressive for a gamer like me is that it displays all the consoles from yesteryears and the current generation consoles. Some limited edition consoles are also on display. There are also games which are available to try for free. From observation, it seems like children will be susceptible to buying a lot from this store. Parents be cautioned. This is only because the store is so well arranged and set up that it is easy to navigate.

A great shopping trip for a tourist like myself. Was definitely humid and hot in there though cause it was packed. Staff, however, are really approachable and polite.

Great place to visit! Been a Mario fan for over 30 years and have been able to introduce it to my son. We both loved the store and enjoyed seeing the lineage of the systems.

Pretty cool place if you're a Nintendo fan, they've got a decent selection of Nintendo merch to get. Also a little bit of a history with their showcase of consoles on the second floor. It usually depends on what game had just released for what merch they're really pushing. When I visited, it was Pokemon. Impossible to get a reasonably sized shirt here. I couldn't find any medium sized shirts that were just of "Nintendo NYC."

  • 4/5 Jeannie R. 5 months ago on Google
The staff was wonderful. I bought pins and a princess peach shirt. The prices was affordable. I didn't have to wait so long on the line. They do have a Pokémon section upstairs. They have different games for you to play and try out. I will be going back.

It was a neat experience but I was disappointed that they didn't have any exclusive items there for purchase. Like a special system with a unique design or a limited edition item. The displays were nice and it was cool to see all the systems on display but honestly it was a little underwhelming for a flagship store. I've seem cooler more unique items for purchase at Think Geek and Boxed lunch.

Love everything Nintendo and so had to come here. Not disappointed! Some great throwbacks as well as all of your current key characters from Mario games through to Animal Crossing. A must stop if you are visiting NYC and a Nintendo fan. Great collectibles and gear at some very reasonable prices. Highly recommended. 🤗

It was our first time here at the NYC location! It was packed and busy for good reason. My kiddos birthday tends to fall on Pokémon release day so we always snag two copies. This year, they ran out of swag for the both of us, which was okay my kiddo can have the paper hat and bag! We got a plush and some cards as well as the newly released game and my kiddo hasn’t stopped playing!

  • 5/5 Maya S. 5 months ago on Google
Great vibes here! Whether you’re a kiddo or an adult, there’s something here for everyone. The staff are all so kind and friendly and seem like they genuinely love what they do. Lots of cool stuff to see here.

A must stop for Nintendo fans in NY. Due to Covid, there's a queue for entering the store and masks must stay on, but it was still a very pleasant shopping experience

Enjoyed the store and its displays a lot! There were clothing, board games and gifting and more. The tables with different games were fun as well. You can find Pokemon items in the level 2. Lovely to visit!

I absolutely love the Nintendo NY store! I visited once before many years ago when it was still called Nintendo World, but it was still as enjoyable as it was then. The merchandise was irresistible and the displays on the second floor, alongside the statues were a joy to see. Compared to my first visit, I feel like there was less merchandise out, and everything was spaced out more than I remember, likely to accommodate for COVID safety requirements, which is appreciated! That didn't stop me from finding many items to purchase! I don't think a trip to New York City is complete without visiting the Nintendo store! Add this place to your list of spots to visit if you are or were ever into Nintendo games and characters. They have something for everyone!

Pretty great store lots of cool Nintendo statues and characters inside. This was the main attraction of the Nintendo store as everything they had to sell could be bought elsewhere, I was hoping to find cool things I could only find here. Regardless if you are a fan of anything Nintendo I highly recommend stopping by this store to get a look at very impressive figures of your favorite characters or to pick up some cool merch.

This place is any Nintendo fan’s dream! It has two floors full of merch, statues and consoles from all gaming generations. It has a collection of amiibos and it’s a great place to take pictures of create content. Make sure to buy something from it, especially if it says Nintendo NY.

If you love Nintendo and are in NYC you gotta step in. They have tons of exclusive merchandise as well as games and consoles for sale. They also have some neat stuff on display like old consoles and props.

This place is awesome. I had to make this a stop on my trip to New York. Great merchandise, not too pricey and the staff is super friendly. I look forward to coming back again! Cheers from Chicago.
