This place rocks! Super cool store and how nice is the facade during Christmas time! Well done!!! It looks like a Disney attraction seriously. Shopping of-course is a bless in this too notch store nicely located at 5th Avenue. Absolutely worth visiting and when you buy something here you get the nice black Saks shopping bag, cool!!!

Very beautiful store, enjoyable to shop in, great customer service, which sometimes means leaving you alone, and other times includes knowing how to make you feel like a potential valued customer, despite how you may be dressed and no matter your race or apparent economic status. Truly classy.

Saks Fifth Avenue's Christmas decorations are an absolute must-see for anyone visiting New York City during the holiday season! Adorned with dazzling lights and enchanting displays, the entire facade of Saks transforms into a breathtaking spectacle that captures the spirit of the holidays in the Big Apple. The highlight is their iconic light show, a mesmerizing performance that combines music, lights, and animation, leaving spectators in awe. The innovative and vibrant designs take you on a magical journey, making it an unforgettable experience for both children and adults alike. What sets Saks Fifth Avenue apart is their attention to detail. Each window display tells a unique story, showcasing intricate craftsmanship and creativity. From whimsical scenes to elegant designs, these displays reflect the artistry and wonder of the season. Beyond the visual splendor, the ambiance around Saks during the holidays is electric. The bustling atmosphere, cheerful crowds, and the backdrop of New York City's skyline create a truly festive vibe that is infectious. Visiting Saks Fifth Avenue during Christmas isn't just about witnessing beautiful decorations; it's about immersing yourself in the vibrant energy of the city's holiday spirit. Don't miss this captivating display that perfectly encapsulates the magic of Christmas in the heart of Manhattan!

The flagship store on fifth Avenue was just beautiful this year for the holidays. A joint venture with Christian Dior. Each window was nicer and more spectacular than the one before. The entire store was decorated for the holidays. If you want to get into the Christmas Spirit just take a a walk down fifth Avenue, to Saks and grab a selfie in front of one of the beautiful windows of all the years I think 2023 was one of the prettiest I’ve seen. And then after you look at the windows, don’t forget to go inside because there is some great things inside the store.

Very nice store, spacious and nice variety. The employees are terrific and everything is clean and well organised. But the prices...holy cow. Even things on sale are still overpriced. I know they have a lot of luxury brands, but I guess I just don't understand why a plain blue t-shirt is $800 and looks exactly like a $10 shirt from kmart. I must not be one of their target customers...still, its a very nice place to wander around. My wife was wearing a $50 dress and got multiple compliments from employees and customers. They probably thought it cost $2000 for all we know!!

Came here to check out the Christmas display and the light show. The displays were awesome and the light show was great! Definitely worth checking it out! The view is better at night time I found.

Absolutely stunning 2023 holiday display. From their window display to their Christian Dior Carousel of Dreams, which is a show stopping light show on a zodiac-themed wheel, it’s absolutely fabulous. Right across The Rockefeller where some can ice skate. An easy train ride from CT to NYC. Few minutes walk from the Grand Central Station. Passed by Bryant park on our way where there is a skating rink and holiday shops to enjoy! Will definitely go back.

Beautiful displays. Latest models. Most of the staffs are very patient and respectful. Be careful with a guy on the 6th floor Men Shoes area. I was looking for specific shoes but I had never got a chance to try on my size. This guy looked so unwilling to help us. After a long time of waiting, he brought the shoe case and gave me ONLY ONE SHOE to try on :). And then he went for other customers and disappeared. We waited for a while and couldn’t find him. So we left the shoe on the ground and went to other brands. He caught us later when we were trying other shoes and looked so angry. I said, “I’m sorry but we’re good.” He suddenly turned around and whispered to his colleague “See? That’s what I thought!” Thanks to my sensitive hearing. I would not get angry if you are not willing to help us. Just leave us alone. Please behave at least RESPECTFUL. Again MOST of the staffs are very KIND & NICE.

This review is for Christmass decorations of windows and the musical light show on the front of the wall of the Saks Fifth Avenue store. Every year, they put a great show, but this year, it was spectacular. Well done! 2023 Dior themed windows were nice, but so far, my favorite was The Nutcracker theme of year 2018 or 2019 (can't remember for sure). The holiday decorations are taken off on January 5th. A spectacular shopping experience, there's a doorman who opened the door for us. Fun to just look at price tags, like a mans pair of shorts for a thousand dollars! Lots of elevators to take you to the many floors. Enormous selection of hand bags and women's items. A must see for shoppers and tourists.

This department store is located on Fifth Avenue, across from Rockefeller Center, and at Christmas it's worth standing on the opposite sidewalk to watch the spectacular Christmas show. The 10-story facade of the Saks Fifth Avenue department store makes it a can't-miss spot. A two minute show of LED lights, repeated every 7 to 8 minutes. Even if you don't intend to shop, a walk inside is a must-do experience. The windows of the department store are impressive, especially at night.

I mostly shop online from Sake because it is more convenient but coming to the store is always a present. Department store is dying but to be able to see the real stuff is still better than ordering online then if didn't fit you have a choice to return either in the store which you will get refund faster or return by mail will take more time and you will have to deal with waiting. I bought a bag and didn't fit so I bring it back. The person who accept my return really like my bag so maybe he will buy it after I return. Good for him. The reason I gave this stars because no one care when you ask for direction. It was funny, start from I stepped in. The doorman keep looking at me, when I ask, he didn't know anything about the mall, LOL. Second, I walk to the escalator, there was another security guard and couldn't help. Another SA only know her store so at the end I have to walk around then found out myself the place to return.

Sacks 5th avenue Omg 😱🤦‍♂️Do I feel silly I thought sacks 5th avenue was a street 😵‍💫😱🙈🙈🙈 I thought the whole 5th avenue of New York 🗽 nicknames sacks 5th avenue turns out it’s a building with all the fancy brands where the rich go get their clothes, so as you can tell that si t me since I didn’t know what it was, am I a local shopper looking to save every penny looking for discounts! Well yes I am! But that doesn’t mean I can’t appreciate good fashion and they got I’ll all the nice things they have everything and more! I was pleasantly surprised to see that the clothes are not mass produced so they are numbered and that adds to their uniqueness, I recommend to go even if your a savvy shopper some of the stuff they have is wild!

American luxury department store chain, with its origins in Andrew Saks' A. Saks & Co. store opened in Washington, D.C.'s F Street shopping district in 1867. Saks' flagship store is located on Fifth Avenue in Midtown Manhattan, New York City.[5][6] The 1924 New York store on Fifth Avenue lent its street name to the chain which would be known by what was originally the moniker of its flagship store, Saks Fifth Avenue. Posh department store chain carrying designer apparel, shoes & accessories, plus home goods & more.

Great place to visit for the holidays and conveniently located near Rockefeller center. The staff are warm and welcoming and have a great deal of knowledge to help you find the perfect gift for your loved ones. Want a show from the outside. Walk across the street and see a great light show that is guaranteed to put a smile on your face. Happy Holidays and thanks again for a wonderful time at Saks.

What an impressive display of lights! It’s beautiful. It plays every five minutes. There’s a light clock that shows you when it’s about to begin. We really enjoyed it. Make sure to get a close view since you don’t want to record other people’s heads. At the end, the light display remains lit for a minute so you can take pics. Enjoy and happy holidays.

If there's anything that could make NYC's Fifth Avenue busier than its usual crowd of tourists, it's the extravagant window displays that emerge for the holidays. It's hard to beat Saks Fifth Avenue's holiday displays, as they can be among the most extravagant of them all, so my partner, our guests and I went Saturday afternoon to see them. Saks is located across the street from the iconic Rockefeller Center tree. Upon arrival, one can’t help noticing a giant, clock-like zodiac display covering the 10-story facade, paying homage to Christian Dior. The Carousel of Dreams follows the fascinating story of Mr. Dior’s first visit to New York in 1947. His journey tracks from Paris to New York City, including a mix of references to landmarks and nods to the fashion house. This will be up until January 5.

The window displays are so cute this year! The lights are sponsored by Dior and they don’t disappoint! It seems like there is a light show every 10 mins or so which is fantastic. You could spend hours looking at all the decorations. Job well done!!

Wow, what can I say? This display is nothing short of magical. From the moment you step foot on the avenue, you're transported into a winter wonderland filled with twinkling lights, dazzling decorations, and an atmosphere of pure holiday joy. The attention to detail is astounding. Every corner is adorned with festive lights and decorations, creating a truly immersive and enchanting experience. Whether you're strolling along with loved ones, taking in the sights, or simply soaking up the festive ambiance, there's something for everyone to enjoy. Not only is the display visually stunning, but it also captures the true spirit of the holiday season. It's impossible not to feel a sense of warmth and cheer as you wander through this sparkling spectacle. I can't recommend the Sacks 5th Ave Christmas lights display enough. It's a perfect way to get into the holiday spirit and create lasting memories with friends and family. Definitely deserving of 5 stars for its magical atmosphere and unforgettable experience.

I came here to test out fragrances and was amazed by the massive selection of designer and niche fragrances. All a fragrance collector could ever dream of. Aside from fragrances there is designer clothing handbags and makeup on the first floor.

One of the better department stores in NYC, another being Hudson Yards. Albeit only 2 stories for mens. The bathroom on the second floor is better.

My favorite Saks store ever. My one stop luxury goods shop! However, unfortunately had to dock 2 stars due to the awful service from the Bond no 9 rep I dealt with. Originally actually came in to Saks to buy a Bond no 9 fragrance (or maybe even 2). Have been researching the ones I’ve been wanting to test for weeks, so I was super excited. Go to the counter and the woman helping me was really unpleasant. Extremely rude and literally didn’t help me with anything other than spraying the tester strips with perfume for the entire almost 10 minutes I was there. Really not sure why she was so nasty, only thing I can think of is my race (I’m half Asian with very prominent Asian features)? I even told her how excited I was to try some Bond fragrances :( anyway, wish I got her name but I was so perturbed I just walked away. She was a short, older Hispanic woman with mid length dark hair and an accent. If the Bond team sees this, I recommend you look into her and maybe give her some extra training. Not going to go into more detail, but she really made me feel bad and dumb at some points when asking her questions about the frags. Anyway, took myself and my wallet to another counter and ended up buying two frags from Matiere Premiere- the woman helping me there was way more kind and helpful :)

Excellent service by Anastesia on the 7th floor Louis Vouitton men’s dept. The store look like medeum size but the sales rep said that if they don’t have an item they can always get it in a few days to the store pick up or home delivery which is great ! Thanks to all! I got a shoe and a sneakers!! And I’m happy!

Really cool department store. Didn't buy anything, but good cafe on the fifth floor. Just a great place to hang out with friends or if you're visiting the Christmas tree or ice rink at Rockefeller center.

Why did I wait so long to go to this store? Amazing. Smaller and less crowded than Macy’s. The men’s department was awesome! Bruce helped me and was very nice and suggested some things. Very professional. Had a great selection and a good vibe.

It's really nice because it is less busy than the nearby stand alone designer stores. There is usually no longer than a 5-10 min wait to get into Chanel or LV and practically no line for Dior or YSL and others. It's usually never too busy in here either. Never feels too crowded and there's lots of little seats on the first floor. The bathroom here is nice too on the second floor each toilet has a full sized door.

Great selection but staff is very short and ride with customers unless they are buying something. I wanted to make a payment on my account while ai was in the store..let getting pushed around and told “I’ll help you when I get a chance. I’m making a sale right now.”

😠 The packaging was SO bad!! I would think if a company is shipping earrings they would be in a box NOT an envelope. The posts were both completely bent. I did my best to straighten them without breaking them completely off. I am super disappointed! I will definitely not be a repeat customer. This pic...
