Had a great time at the birds of prey show in Marine Park. It was educational & the birds was beautiful! Plus they're all rescues that were rehabilitated & unfortunately cannot be re-released into the wild. It is good to know that there are programs in the city that will not only mend these injured or sick birds, but continue to care for them for their while lives.

I really enjoy going to this park. I drive almost 25 mins and pass roughly 3 parks to get to this park. The energy at all times is just calm and so beautiful.

Marine Park is one of the finest place in Brooklyn. A vast and very clean Park. There are three baseball grounds in the park where childrens are being trained for their future game. Thousands of tall and healthy trees 🌴 are standing at both sides of the jogging tracks. A lot of people daily visits the park, some for walk, some for cycling, some for games and for jogging too. The senior citizens come with their pretty dogs. In short the park is must to be visited. A lot of free parking is available all around the Park. I am love 💕 in it. 😊❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Marine Park is pretty big. I grew up knowing only the track and field side of the park. Never did I know about the marsh area. Now for the marsh area it really depends on what the weather is like. If it's a beautiful day, boy the view and animals all come out. I highly encourage people to explore the marsh area and of course keep it clean too.

Marine Park is a nice place to walk around, exercise or play games with your dog or family. It's very busy on most weekends with sports games. Most inclusive and wheelchair accessible is the perimeter of the park.

Beautiful park located, of course, in the Marine Park section of Brooklyn. Circular bike & walking paths almost a mile in diameter. Park is designed so there are literally no obstructions from one end to the other; you can see clear across the grass. Handball, tennis, boche, pickle ball and basketball courts available. Playground for children. About a dozen softball fields in the center and surrounding area. Two large parking fields. A nature preserve and hiking trail directly across Avenue U, with a kayak launch. Many trees provide shade with a cool breeze if you want to sit and relax on one of the many benches provided. Bathrooms available. Nicely designed flower beds. Lots of people, families, kids and dogs roaming around. A very nice way to spend a Sunday afternoon.

There is so much you can do in Marine Park-ride a bike, run, jog, walk, walk your dog, play basketball, baseball, football, soccer, handball, tennis, exercise, picnic, fly a kite. There are 2 parking lots with ample parking. A great place to spend an afternoon.

The landscape looks great, however, the vibes were a bit scary. I wouldn’t encourage anyone to go alone. I didn’t feel safe to keep walking inside alone even though it was in the afternoon!

A great park and organization, Marin Park Alliance, that offers many services, educational programs, events and activities for the community. I've included an event from their October month called Raptorama. All of this for free. I've gone for years and watched as it evolved from the huge park that has a large track that many walk, bike, and skate along. There are children's playgrounds, tennis courts, basketball courts, bocce area, baseball section, and more.

Nice park, needs a LOT of work though. The main path around the field hasn't been redone in forever. There are cracks and lots of the paths dont even have cement on them. But overall it's a nice big park with lots of space so usually isn't crowded except on the weekends now because everyone wants to get outside from quarantine.

Park was locked down. Parking lot blocked off. Playgrounds blocked off. If walking is what you into then it's great. Basketball rims taken down. And courts abandoned. It looked SAD.

Great place to go bicycling in a big giant Circle with your children and not worry about getting hit by a car. Very safe and relaxing. One lap around in the bike lane is 0.81 miles. Good place to get some exercise and do four laps.

This is a very wide area park the playground with a lot of grass and the walk and a bike riding wayside makes it very great you can play you can come with your pet to get some fresh air you can bring your family and children and this place is not so crowded because it’s very wide the evening moon view is very nice over here.

Normally Marine Park is absolutely beautiful but when we went due to the last storm there were trees and limbs and big branches down everywhere making it a bit tough to walk. Hopefully they got in there and cleaned it up because someone will get hurt.

We went to wheel fun rentals to ride a family bike. It was an experience that we enjoyed. I am not sure if the bikes need a tune-up or what but even with the whole family peddling the bike wasn't really moving. In order to ride all feet had to peddle. Riding a regular bike 🚲 doesn't require a lot of work. So I am not sure why this one was so tiresome.

  • 4/5 RJ S. 3 years ago on Google
Nice park - When I was a little boy I lived in the area from 1978 - 1980. I haven't been in a while, but as with any NYC park don't expect too much, and don't drink from the water fountains when they re-open if they ever do. If the pandemic ever lets up. I've witnessed disturbing acts being done in and around public water fountains by mischievous teenagers over the years of being a NYC resident. Homeless will wash up in a fountain, and not just their faces.😉 For the most part it's a safe area and family friendly, but in NYC you always need to watch your 6. Good luck - have fun and enjoy.

Marine Park has been my childhood place to go. Fond memories of running through the park and seeing the tall trees, and leaning how to ride a bike. I take my daughter now to the very same park. We fly the kite, do a picnic, meet doggies taking a walk, feed the squirrels, and in the winter, slush through the snow in our snow boots. There's a neighboring playground, whereby we play and my daughter meets new friend to play with. It is a simple layout of a park, but you can really get to enjoy so much in its simplicity. I like to take a few laps walk around. You see others doing the same, or people jogging, biking, rollerblading, playing cricket or ball. It is really a great outdoor recreational space.

Great place to go with the family especially the kids amazing place to do a little fishing even if you know it's a little windy great for flying kites sometimes you know if you go there with the family and the kids it's amazing if you have any pets take your pets with you dogs are able to roam free you know and it's really really great because usually they have a lot of other sports that are going on at the time for children and kids and you know different age groups limited of course but I would definitely recommend this place for a great Saturday or Sunday afternoon picnic or even just a place to go and relax play catch with the kids once you go there one time I guarantee you'll absolutely love it and you will return!

Great park! It has a large track split with one for walking or running and the other for bikes, rollerblades, etc. The track is dotted with benches and encircles a large grassy field great for frisbee, cricket, catch, or playing with your dog. The park also has plenty of other features including multiple baseball diamonds, a children's play area, basketball courts, bocce courts, chess tables, outdoor fitness equipment, handball courts, tennis courts, and pickleball courts. It also has two open parking lots where you can usually rent bikes. Plus, just across Ave U there's the Salt Marsh Nature Center and nature trail.
