Nice place to stroll, chill, and relax. Early morning walk is the best here and also watching the sunset.

Pier 45 is one of the best in the city. During Covid-19 the police have a line at the entrance with an in/out policy to keep it from becoming too crowded. Still a wonderful lawn to enjoy the breeze and skyline.

Very cool place but extremely busy. But definitely a nice respite on a sunny day. We had a blanket on the lawn and there was a service bar on the wall. Some Spanish dancing in the front and Tom’s of sunbathers out in the pier. A great place for people watching! Have fun!

Cool place to take a stroll and enjoy the view across the Hudson river. There’s live entertainment/music on many occasions and although it’s always lively, never crowded.

concerts on the Hudson! Most of the events are free. There is a cafe-restaurant-bar near the entrance to the park. You cannot bring dogs (on the grass) or alcohol into the park. It is a great place to picnic with friends and watch the sunset. You can organize your own event. There are free sunset concerts on Friday evenings.

Great spot for relaxing and watching people go by. Lots of seating and lawns near the path, with a few lovely gardens interspersed throughout, including the Apple sculpture. The pier itself has plenty of lawn space as well, but the main attraction is the panoramic views of lower Manhattan, NY Harbor (including the Statue of Liberty) and across the Hudson with city views of Jersey City and its quite impressive skyline and Hoboken and Weehawken as well. Can be very crowded on a nice weekend day, especially in the Spring and Fall.

I love it here. It's pretty. I was a teenager when i first came here. It was dangerous, sketchy. Clean. Safe.

Best pier on the west side!! Also known as a Christopher Street Pier. Would highly recommend visiting. It includes a long stretch of beautiful green lawn to lay out on, a water mister for hot days to keep ya cool, a pavilion at the end, and some shade cover and trees at both ends. I would be careful with bringing alcohol or a dog cause they are strict to enforce those and seen a ton of tickets being dished out in the summer. Other than that, enjoy!

Love this pier! Plenty of beautiful impeccably maintained grass to lay down on, picnic or just get in some sun! Plenty of benches and seated areas as well as a beautiful view of south NYC, NJ skyline and the statue of liberty. There is a great food and drink bar right at the start of the pier as well as bathrooms!

The Hudson River walk has wonderful spots and many piers that have been remodeled with amenities and space to sit and relax. A couple of piers are just old posts but the views and the breeze are fantastic.

I bring my baby here pretty much every day. We watch geese and enjoy the green and the water. There are sometimes people fishing, very calm vibe mostly.

Pretty cool place with a nice grassy area, water sprays to get cooled off toward the end and a lovely shaded area with trees at the end. Why missing a star? Cause at Pride they turned the water sprays off and baracaded people from going to the shady end of the pier at noon!
