Unfortunately, it's temporarily closed. One star because I think it's permanently closed. It's been closed for years now. But when it was open, it was really nice.

The view is beautiful, nothing like looking at the river to relax and find peace. It is clean and well maintained. There are many benches to sit and chat with friends. You can see the Bronx and the metro north from here. It is not easy to find unless you are looking for it. Anyone would enjoy it!

An awesome NYC location for hiking, picnics, sport, and doggies!

A real gem of a park in northern Manhattan. Get lost in the old growth woods of this park that borders the west side highway running from Dyckman St. north to the Harlem River. Biking and walking trails, baseball fields, tennis and basketball courts and great views of the Harlem River from northern Manhattan looking at Spuyten Duyvil and Marble Hill in the Bronx. American Bald Eagles were raised in the woods some years ago and can now be seen soaring over the nearby Hudson River. Check out the Dyckman Pier at the southern end of the park. You won't be disappointed.

Decent park with a great view of the Henry Hudson Bridge. Check this place out at dusk.

Very nice weather was Perfect very family orientated

Hard to believe this park is in Manhattan! I went on a weekday and ran into only a handful of people the entire time. The park is very natural and has some decent elevation gain. I stuck to the higher elevation trail and it provide a few nice views of the Hudson River and the Bronx/Inwood. You feel outside of the city for the most part, however the highway running along the west side of park reminds you where you are. Worth checking out to get away from the hustle of the City and it is easily accessible from the A train.

Can be a nice, quiet spot certain mornings and some afternoons. Unfortunately, there are people who don't clean up after themselves.

I feel so comfortable about nature..you can see ducks, the river ..many trees so....simple beautiful if you like nature.
