Great little neighborhood park for eating breakfast on a bench and watching the dogs run around on the field. Every so often, a large gaggle of children will pass, herded by caretakers to or from their pen.

Best park in the burg for open grass fields and relaxed atmosphere— *FYI: beware of the soccer league and volleyball families in groups of 60+, they run right through groups of people picnicking and laying out in the grass- so it’s a great park when you aren’t getting hit by their balls. Other FYI- Unfortunately the main lawn grass hasn’t grown back from the soccer and volleyball leagues that tore it up last year— if it’s a windy day, a lot of dirt kicks up in the air cuz no grass— But last year this lawn was plush green and beautiful!)

Usually pretty quiet, and very well frequented by various ages because of the dynamics of the park. There is an open field space, a dog park section, a skate park section, a kiddie playground (separate areas for the age groups) with swings(😱), a workout area, a magnitude of benches and lots of great plant life. I usually like to go and act like im in a magical forest. Its beautiful, especially when the clouds are well separated and its warm, because in the open circle it looks like great scenery as the sun sets against the trees! Its amazing for this area in Brooklyn!

Decent park in a peaceful area. There's a basketball, tennis, handball court, skating rink, a running track, play area for children another play area for smaller children and a picnic/ barbeque area

Great park - BUT giving 3 stars because some man w/ his little kid came up to me and my leashed dog right outside the playground and threatened to use his knife to cut my dog if it showed even the slightest sign of aggression. This was totally unprovoked; me and my dog were minding our own business just walking around. Very disturbing experience, and would recommend to keep your dogs close by your side.

Great space for a BBQ. Everyone was entertained because there was a skate park, basketball court, sprinklers and a playground. The only problem was the bathroom. Women's bathroom was yucky.

Always love coming here... basketball courts always have a game going on. Pretty decent competition on the ball courts. Skateboarders are always flying around and doing tricks. Doggies are enjoying themselves marking their territory and meeting new pup friends. BBQ all summer long. I mean what else can you ask for. Also has tennis courts.

Really nice park with tennis courts, basketball courts, handball walls, and a skate park. Love that it's close and that the tennis courts don't require a permit to play. Note that there are only two courts so depending on how many people are waiting to play (hour time limit for singles, two hours for doubles), you can sometimes wait a couple hours to get a court.

I randomly stumbled upon it in the summer, early evening leisure walk. It was a beautiful park. Because of all the greenery that surrounds it, it's almost as if it's hidden from the city. The dog park was spacious, clean and organized. It made me sad that I didn't have my pup with me. I would definitely recommend it for those seeking a respite from the nuzzling city.

Not the best to go park but it’s close to home. Toddler enjoys every time. He loves to climb the stairs to the slides. He’s still learning as he’s still quite young and learning to walk

terrible beach volleyball courts. theres 3 if you combine them they are still to small to play a normal game in it. the sand is also full of garbage. everything else was pretty nice tho

Great park. Very clean and well maintained. Playground for big and small kids, skate park, dog park, tennis courts, basketball courts. Has mostly everything you could want in a park.

Very nice park. The only downside is that they were doing construction and there was no bathrooms, no port a potty anything. If they fix the bathroom availability then it would be perfect

This a cute, convenient little park with lots of amenities, including: tennis courts, public bathrooms, benches, picnic tables, charcoal grills, a skate park, a splash pad (during summer months), 2 playgrounds, DIY outdoor fitness equipment, and a dog park.

It really is everything you’d ever want from a quiet little neighborhood park. Plenty of open green spaces, a bunch of trees and bushes with pretty flowers. Plenty of space for various types of exercise and sports, there’s a playground, skatepark.. yeah. 10/10

It’s a decent community park. Not the biggest but there’s space to lay down on the grass.

I love Cooper Park. It has a tennis court, Mini skate park, a dog park and the traditional jungle gym and big open space. It's not perfect but it has its charms. On Saturdays in the summer its lively and there is a lot going on. It's a very nice place to have picnics

This park has been a great oasis in the neighborhood for the last 20 years I’ve lived here in Williamsburg. Lots of green space, a great spot to take nice afternoon strolls or gather with friends/family. There’s a lot to do here. There are handball courts, basketball courts, and a skate park! Great place to go!

Been going here a while as it’s larger than the closer park to me. Great size and the lawn is nice but the barbecue area has gotten really bad. Went to do a last summer barbecue today and had to leave as that section of the park has become unusable. Every grill is severely broken, falling down. Also that section of the park has become home to a few unhoused people. Felt intrusive to their space. Really hoping the city can fix up the grills/ grass, add some more stable tables (there’s only 2 or 3) and help these folks out in a respectful way. Also the restrooms are closed and under construction which means you can’t stay very long.
