Nice place, you can eat, play and watch some squirrels here. Most importantly and the reason I've visited, it's because there is a statue to honor Togo the Husky. Such a small monument for a big hero.

Excellent play areas. Basketball courts just redone(summer 2017). Chinese style 9-Man volleyball played every Sat & Sun morning. Dance exercise & martial arts in the early morning. Bathrooms need more regular cleaning and fixing of floors to stop the water from pooling.

Currently half of the park is under construction. Feels a little dirty and outdated. But has several fun activities for kids, including slides and swings.

Bigger than it looks. Lots of open space to run around or play sports. Good to come even to just take a rest. Also located right next to the library as well. Only con is to be sure to be aware of your brlongings, not that it happens often but some might steal your things. Overall, very good park.

Nice community park, it has a long way to go but they have fixed most of it. It has public restrooms and a wonderful library, outdoor athletic areas, and a mini library.

Good sized park with options for all ages. There are basketball and tennis / volleyball courts and an adult outdoor-gym. A large sprinkler pad and smaller off-area playgrounds with themed fountains are also fun for those with younger ones in the the warmer months. Swing sets are also available. Nice greenery makes it popular for dog walkers and community members when the weather is nice. There are also restrooms and seating options at this park, which unfortunately have been attracting other less favorable activities and longer-term “occupants” moving into the park. Sadly graffiti has also recently been popping up on park structures. Location is right near F subway line.

Went to story time in the park with my 1 year old nephew. Everyone above 2 had a mask on which made us feel very safe! The library is right there with a bathroom with a changing table and then went to the playground after which was very big with two playground sets and sprinklers in the middle! Great place for a little one.

A normal, relaxing city park. Quite large, actually. Provides lots of different park options, for lots of different sports and games or activities! Includes: handball courts, basketball courts, jungle gym and swings, sprinklers for kids, in warm/hot weather, relaxing benches, nice atmosphere, with LOTS of options!

Nice park with lots of fun activities for the little ones and grown ups too. My only problem is the dirt! Its dirty and smelly... not to mention the dirty people smoking 10 feet away from the play areas... why smoke right next to the children at play, total lack of consideration.

Great playground, with swings and playground equipment options for kids of all ages. Can be hard to keep track of older kids as they wander around, but generally mine love how open the space is for running and tag. There are also basketball and volleyball courts. Have been to many a community event here as well as just weekend, summer, and after school playtime. Right next to F train, Hester Street Fair, Seward Park Library, and Educational Alliance. Kids love sprinklers in open circle in the summer. 4 stars because it's been a while since it was first renovated and could use some minor repairs of flooring and painting. And check, as with any other park, for broken glass on the floor.

its a nice park. just wish they would have cleaner bathroom. more water fountains that work & they need to put some type of bugs repellant. those things will eat you alive. UPDATE--its way better now. still family friendly. but again, I can not express this enough...BUG REPELLANT!!!! my goodness, the bugs the flies the bees the insects are way to much to deal with. and today I was extremely disappointed, saw a family with their younger kids and they were in one side of the park smoking weed cigarettes and drinking in front of kids. young small kids. that was disgusting and something needs to be done.

Such a pleasant park. The greenery makes it a nice place to hang out. Many things to do here. There can be some unsavory characters there at times, but if you leave them alone they'll leave you alone.

There are still the homeless living and drinking. It's been like this for years. That's a shame ☹️. UPDATE: 6/25/23 went back today and it is much nicer. Families are out, kids in the sprinklers and a newly installed ping pong table. It is much more inviting. Loved the stoll.
