Canarsie Park is the true essence of a nature oasis right next to civilization... well for me that is... just the ambiance of the green forestry is enough for me to feel I am in the Amazon Forest. Love it... nice place for picnic or just a place for the kids to run and play... Place is kept clean and trimmed...I'd definitely recommend..

Great park for jogging and bike paths. Also on those same paths it’s a great place to take pictures of birds.

Spacious great for family 👪 and kids to run and play. Being built up for other things as well can't wait to see what. Close enough to places for food too

Beautiful park, renovated several years ago. Well kept lawns & trees, nature hiking paths, and a connecting path to the Belt Parkway walkway. Bathrooms available.

In winter it is difficult to get the most out of this beautiful place. It's nice and quiet. Ah, and you can relax and slow down the rhythm of the city.

Very cool place to take a morning stroll, run or exercise. The scenery on the route is beautiful when you take your time to take it in. Never crowded in the morning so great to maintain social distancing.

This park was expanded over a decade ago. Turned out great there’s plenty of walking paths, there are basketball courts, 2 playgrounds, space to bbq, there’s a beach, a running track, baseball fields, workout equipment, and more. Definitely need to have a more restrooms and maybe a snack shack.

Arima Ting at Seaview Park, Brooklyn. Great day at the park with family and friends. The staff at the park was very accommodating because they left the Bathroom area opened a little bit longer than usual. Shout out to the staff who worked last night, very pleasant ladies. Thanks again. Huge park.

It's a small playground. We went with a group of around 30/40 campers who enjoyed themselves however there not that much to do there. Count on being there for 45 minutes to an hour at the most..... It is shady in the beginning of the park, sitting on the benches but the actually playground has no shade.

Canarsie Park is really fun! Definitely one of those places that the community goes and throw a birthday party, picnic, or bbq. It’s so big and spaced out the possibilities are endless. In my course did a picnic/Photoshoot 😊✨

Nice park.... has a lot of events happening during summer time. Didn't take pics this time, but I will on my next run. Visit Note: if you want to do an event there, get a park permit and music permit. Clean up after yourself as well.

Very spacious, paved pathway, picnic tables and playground as well with sprinklers. Great place to BBQ, have picnics, or throw an event.

The picnic area was good it's dog friendly the only thing I had a problem with was the fact that they were insects (stuff should do something about that) around the trees that had fruits so it kind of took away a letter from the fun but otherwise then that everything was good we had somewhere to put our garbage a staff was friendly I will go back again and it's a very big area so there was lots of room for many people to come by and the restroom had toilet paper and sanitizer which is a Plus

This is an awesome park. I like it better than Prospect but I’m obviously biased (and it’s smaller). It can get very busy but is generally very safe during the day. At night, there is no light in the park, so it is frightening but still safe as many people use the park for night runs and biking and not much else. (It is not a nighttime hangout spot for youths at all.) A great place to look at the stars

Bring back the memories.. Open space and sea views.. Let the music and laughter take you away. Sit back and enjoy a smoke with friends and family or have a BBQ.. Heck go fishing if you'd like... Canarsie piers

Lots of trails and beautiful natural oasis. Once wetlands, swamp and marsh is now a green natural oasis. Its a must see and bring your favorite canine.

Such a nice place there! Quiet, peaceful a lot of birds, just the right place to take a break from the noisy city. There is a place to relax with the family and just stroll through a small green oasis. There is equipment for sports activities as well as areas for games and entertainment. There is one BIG minus is the lack of control of entry into the territory of the park of motorcycles and other motorbikes prohibited there.

This park is HUGE and very clean. The people there are super friendly and there is so much to do. The early morning walks are so refreshing.

Canarsie park is thee park for all. Wether you’re throwing a birthday party or family gathering it just to take calm meditation Stroll around the various walking paths this park offers. I do love how the parks restrooms are always open and clean to use. I frequent this park a lot since it’s right in my backyard and I find peace each time I journey there.

My Job had a picnic there last week. It was clean but I'd say it would be better if there were more picnic tables. The ladies room had 2 stalls and one sink. It was a clean as a city park gets if u know what I mean lol. There was park staff available for assistance if needed. They smiled and seemed friendly. I'd visit again

Absolutely beautiful location, massive park next to the Belt Parkway. Good place to eat lunch or have some quiet time. Very clean considering the traffic it gets, maintenance is regular here. No homeless or issues Been comming here for 8 years. Lots of neighbors come here to take in the fresh brooklyn air. Down the road theres great food. When your done for the day you can have direct access to the highway afterwards.

This is a lovely park. Has water sprinklers, play area and swings. My daughter and son was excited that there was a sandpit. Also have lots of trees for shade and cool breeze.
