One of the best parks in Queens to enjoy a wonderful walk with your dog. Well-maintained paths and open fields. Friendly dog owners in the a.m. off leash period.

Very a good recreational park for the individuals and family. Everyone is respectful and cleaning after themselves. Most importantly barbecue and picnics are limited and not going wild especially with their music.

This park is massive and offers plenty of outdoor activities for everyone. They have public bathrooms and playgrounds while offering you shade from the plentiful of trees. I haven't even explored the entirety of the park.

Juniper Valley Park is one of many public parks in Queens. It is the most beloved parks in the borough and an integral part of its Middle Village neighborhood. It has a full race track. basketball, handball, tennis courts, roller hockey, baseball, soccer and football fields. Similarly, it has a functional public restroom and children’s playground. Overall, this park is good for families, children, and is well maintained.

When I want to ignore my laundry day, I go to this park, walk to find a perfect spot, place my blanket on the grounds and then lay down like it’s my living room. Very friendly neighborhood. Yup, dog friendly too. There is a restroom. And a playground for kids as well. Remember to use bug lotion/spray esp during summertime.

This is a wonderful and conveniently located park with lots of options, such as basketball, tennis, baseball, soccer, exercise area and even a play area for a few elders I've never seen before. Restrooms are also available, and multiple slides, swings and play areas for toddlers.

Just a friendly reminder to newcomers that the East end of the park is designated as a quiet zone. As of late people have been seen throwing parties, drinking and playing sports in the quiet area. I walk to the park all the time and the other day I came across broken glass from a beer bottle in the grass. This is dangerous for people who bring their dogs and toddlers to walk in the grass. Please help keep our park beautiful and our dogs and children safe by adhering to the posted rules. If you observe activities that are not in compliance you are encouraged to contact the community board and park association. Thank you.

Apart from the occasional Karen's and Richard's this place is awesome! Before 9am dogs it's the dogs world and we are just living in it! Workers always there cleaning. Looks beautiful! If you have fur babies bring them before 9am They can be off leash! Make my day everyone I go before 9am. Great time to socialize your furbabies. My kids have a heck of a time

This park is quintessential Queens. It draws in people from a bunch of nearby neighborhoods, different backgrounds and ages. There's something for everyone: bocce ball for the older Italian men, baseball and track fields that attract school sports teams, tennis courts, two children's playgrounds, a sprinkle park and plenty of space to run, walk, bike and walk dogs. It's clean and well maintained. The only downside? It draws in people from surrounding neighborhoods (which is great) but it can get very crowded on weekends and during the summer months.

This park is great, specially in the Spring when flowers remind us that we are alive (either bc we like flowera or bc of allergy season). Awesome sunsets can be appreciated from the highest points of the park, all while getting a nice glimpse of the city's skyline. However, I do find myself often wishing that restrooms remained open a bit later in Fall and Spring seasons, especially bc there are many ppl who visit this park after work hrs.

One of the newer sprinkler playgrounds was deserted which was a shame. They had just built this area and haven't fixed the sprinkler playground. Luckily, not too far away, is another sprinkler playground in the shade!! We were able to still have a blast!

A very pretty park right in the middle of Queens. Only downside is that they post that dogs aren't allowed on the fields, they are allowed on the grass all around the park though

A very quiet area. A few benches and jogging trail but not much else. If you just want to relax in peace it's helping. If you want sports and other activities look elsewhere.

The park is spacious and clean. People seem to be respectful in the area. We enjoy bike riding, having a picnic and walking around the track. The great lawn is perfect for games and sports. They have two great playgrounds for kids. However, if you need to use the restroom you're better off going home. The restrooms have gotten worse with time. The floors are covered with pee, toilets filthy, and it is very likely to find poop smears on the floor or wall.

Very well maintained public space in the heart of Middle Village. The space is clean and the people are generally polite. The sole issue I have is with people on the track not following the posted rules or following direction etiquette, however that is a petty concern. A+ space.

Safe 24/7, beautiful, brand new Olimpics track and field/football/socker field, dog friendly, joggers and pro-runners friendly, kids are happy, two advanced workout spots, two advanced kids areas, huge baceball fields, baskeball fields, 8 fenced tenniss courts, two restroom buildings, well lit at night so you can use whole park including football field and track 24/7, many other attractions.

Love this park. So versatile. A section for small kids and one for larger kids. Massive walking areas. I believe the park is almost 33 acres. Can spend the whole day there easily. Definitely recommend.

This is a fairly large park, mainly grassy with scattered mature trees, which meanders through several neighborhoods. There are playgrounds, sports & playing. Fields, meadows. This is a great place for meet-ups, both large & small, parties, and liesure.

Amazing park to go for a Walk with family specially with kids

This used to be a great park, but now it's crime-ridden and filthy as people just throw their garbage on the ground. Dogs are running around off the collar as the park does not have a dog park inside, leaving unleashed dogs to attack people walking their dogs on a leash. There is no consideration to the people who want to enjoy this park but can't.

My favorite park. Nice people, great atmosphere Nd always clean. I go here with my family every time we have a chance. We do picnics and bike rides. My toddler loves the 2 playgrounds they have here. If you're in the neighborhood check it out!

Juniper Valley Park !! How it reminds me of Gorky Park in Moscow... I would sit for hours and gossip with the boys of the old and proud KGB.... Now, you will find me with a few other ex-patriots looking at our bank books... All our assets are frozen.... They call us Russian oligarchs ....If they only knew... People think we are filthy rich...But we only have billions... not trillions... I try to spend tranquil moments at this park...So is my best friend ...my dog Icarus .... However, there are times I see a few tears in his eyes... "What is the matter my good friend" I asked him once "There is no park for me...only for you humans....and you have such a huge space, and so many fields" he answered me with a trembling voice of emotion ...... My dearest and faithful friend .... I am making a promise, that as soon as my assets and my billions are freed, I will make a beautiful park just for you and all your dog friends.... In the meantime, I ask the wonderful city of New York to put a fence around a small area, so my friend Icarus and his friends can play... If this wonderful city does not have the money, we the people in the surrounding area who have dogs will donate $1 each ...for the fence..... Tomorrow, another day just like any other day, you will find me sitting on a bench, bringing back memories of the wild parties in Monte Carlo... Icarus will be remembering himself running with a big bone in his mouth ..... but feeling like a prisoner on a leash.. Hey, wonderful city of New York .... isn't that a shame ?

Lovely park with many different spots designed for children. There were fields for team sports too and tennis courts.. I enjoyed the diversity displayed in the visitors as well as the sunny and shaded areas.

Great park, the fields are well kept, very clean. There is a lot of open space, doesn't get too crowded especially on weekends. There are 2 playgrounds which are both pretty great my children have a lot of play options. I appreciate the new track they built and the fitness equipment by the hockey rink on the west side. My only gripe would have to be the bathrooms, there is generally some pee on the floor and occasionally some poop, not great. They would really benefit from some regular cleaning...

Great Park to play, walk and relax. Parking is free but can be hard to find depending on if there are events. Restrooms are reasonably clean for public toilet which is a plus with kids. Some parts could use an upgrade but over all a nice place and quite large area

I Love this park!! Clean, safe, family oriented, dog-friendly. In the distance you can observe part of Manhattan skyline along a beautiful sunset. Summer time can be overcrowded but a walk early in the morning or late at night are pleasant.

Lovey weather to stay out in a quiet park with just enough benches to rest and a pathway to walk your dog and run after kids.

The best place in the neighborhood to walk, to feel the air, to admire the nature, the best place for the children to play, to have fun, to make new friends!
