This is just one part of one of the most underrated parks in NYC. It's just a short walk away from Central Park which gets most of the fame, but this park is also great. The falls and pond are a beautiful place to enjoy lunch year round. It's quiet and peaceful but still has the vibrant feeling of the city. Benches are all along the path so there are plenty of places to sit and talk/eat/meditate/play or whatever it is you like to do. Come see this place.

So beautiful here. Since I visited in Spring, the flowers were blooming and with the light rain, it all came together so picturesque. It’s a very calming spot and perfect for a stroll, or a pause for mindful meditation, or seated contemplation on the many benches. After all that’s done, you can walk on over to the nearby Central Park, if you’re still craving an extended personal date with nature.

Prettiest spot in the park but not exactly a destination, unless you are looking for a place to eat a take out lunch

It's a pretty trashed park ... But small and cute nonetheless. As long as you don't really look down hahaha

Great spot for fresh air. I'm there during the morning times to watch beautiful birds and to breath fresh air. You can also work out there such as running, playing basketball or baseball. They have that there too. There's also a long stairway people use to go up and down for workouts. Awesome spot. Love it 👍!

Great for toddlers during the warmer seasons because of all the animals and the playground nearby.
