Cool spot to get a drink, listen to some good music, play some games and enjoy your time with your friends. The outdoor is spacious with a lot of seating. There's some hammocks scattered about, benches and seats of different types. The food is not bad at all. The drinks are good too.

Came here to dance and was not disappointed!! The drinks are great, I love the giant rosemary sprig that came with mine lol, nice touch. Also had some local beers and wines and danced the night away. Absolutely love that they are so encouraging of consent and safety. The dance floor really is like a jungle, they have fog machines and lights that put you in the zone and make you want to move. Photo is of the bar area at the beginning of the night looking toward the dance floor. Such a cool place. Will definitely be back!

Family Days for kids of all ages is great! House music on one of the best sound systems in all of the USA! Obviously, they keep the sound level moderate for the kids. A/C was working perfectly!

This review is about the atmosphere. I did not get a chance to eat or try the drinks but the location is an awesome outdoor venue. There are a lot of working class adults who hang out there. The music is great! I think this may also be a great place to make friends. There are games available to play.

Always going here, always a vibe. This is my safe space to dance until the sun comes up, and I always see people I know here. The sound system is incredible, food is fantastic, and drinks are pretty cheap. Nowadays has been a weekend staple for me. Just come with a good vibe and don't be annoying!

Mister Sundays outdoors is good. I did ask them to extend through November but they didn't. The problem is their indoors. It was a cloud of haze when I went in - there was a visable haze. No room at all, this was the last Mister Sundays Oct 29 when it rained, and they closed the outdoor dance floor though we paid $$$ for it to be opened. The indoor dance floor was totally packed. Could not dance there - people just wriggled. And totally unhealthy air, I left after 5 minutes. I thought there was supposed to be a new awareness about health for indoor space. Need air changing every so often, filtered, and enough space for breathing (let alone what the fire marshal might think of such as packed place).

Love love love love love this little funky commune feeling slice of Brooklyn. They are doing it right - water station, fire pits outside in the winter, yurts… incredible. The staff here stood out as being welcoming and kind more so than any other nightlife venue in the city. Great layout and pretty good dance floor/sound. Loved it here! Nowadays Nonstop was great.

This place is a gem. Great music, people, and vibes. The outdoor space with food trucks and fire pits is a great way to spend a Sunday with friends. The dance floor is a magical space with one of the best sound systems in NYC. I love that cell phones aren't allowed on the dancefloor. Free water and $2 coat checks prove that they care about you. The bar offers tasty drinks and the bartenders work fast and efficient.

The only outdoor + indoor party place if you want to listen to the best djs in New York. This should be on your go to list!

The best place on Earth if you love dance music, good vibes and good people. Everyone is friendly, music is great, plenty of food, drinks, etc. Water is always available as well. Highly recommend if you're visiting NYC

super fun lil hidden outdoor space. great system for ordering food and getting it delivered to table. super cute picnic tables and really cute lighting. great sound system that can be loud in some sections and quiet in other. bartenders so very nice! tip them all really well otherwise you’re a total non-tipping buffoon okay!

Actual clowns. The bouncer was offended because we called him sir but apparently he identifies as a female. It was a genuine accident & all we said was thank you sir when asking a question. They were so mad about it that they denied our group of 10 people because we “didn’t know the name of the artist performing.” When our friend pulled them aside & asked why, they said it’s because we assumed their gender. In my years of living in NYC I’ve never had an issue like this. What a joke. Especially coming from an establishment that preaches togetherness and non-exclusivity.

This small, wacky, commune-feeling piece of Brooklyn is something I adore. Water stations, outdoor fire pits for the winter, yurts—they're really doing it right. This place's personnel was the most hospitable and courteous of any nightclub in the city. Excellent design and decent sound and dance floor. This place was amazing! Nonstop was fantastic these days.

I really love this venue. It's a fabulously inclusive and wonderful space. I just wish the smoke machine wasn't scented because for those of use with allergies it makes it a little hard to breathe on the dance floor. I imagine it's worse for people with asthma. Again. I want to emphasize this is probably the most comfortable club I've ever been too. I just don't f*** with frankincense or whatever that smoke scent is.

Had such a cute evening playing games outside at Nowadays! The lights and hammocks were so adorable. The food and drinks were impressive. However, we wanted to get into the indoor dance floor, and there was an expensive cover, so we were disappointed.

Great outdoor place for a small or large get together. Didn't feel crowded but it helped that I had a reservation (cost $5 per person). There are fire pits available but I would not recommend since smoke or fire just flies into your face when the wind picks up. Firepit reservations cost more per person. There are QR codes on the table so its super easy to pull up the menu. I ordered drinks and food at the bar myself. Cocktails start at $11 and there are pitchers available for some cocktails. Shochu lemon sour tastes exactly the way it sounds. I had the fried chicken sandwich which came with a lot of shredded cabbage. The chicken was quite crispy but could have used some more sauce.

Reserved a fire place - glad I did because it got crowded (by my COVID standards lol)! Couldn’t relate to the music at all, but it was relaxing. The pitcher of margarita to me was not worth it, but it was delicious. I think the beer compliments the food better anyways. Food was pretty good! I got the chicken sandwich with fries 🙂

One of the finest music-centered establishments in NY. It has so much to offer between great music, multiple spaces, carefully curated food and beverage program. The sound is great in all of the spaces, the staff is welcoming, everything is professionally run very well and consistent. Well done.

This place is such a gem. The first time I visited NYC we had a great time at a Mister Sunday. Happy to see y'all's vision has survived. We were in NYC this past weekend and had such a good night out here. The sound is great. Bonfires and hammocks and yurts to hang out in. Free water. Free earplugs. *****No phones on the dance floor!***** Staff easily identifiable with red light up wristbands. Mandatory orientation to establish rules upon entry. This is what it takes to create and maintain a fun and safe space. Thank you Nowadays!

Great spot. Can't really speak for the food or drinks but the vibes and the space itself were on point. People were respectful on the dance floor, music and lights were good, bartenders were friendly. I loved the outdoor space, it's huge and has a bunch of seating but it's set up to still feel cozy. Honestly it's probably worth going before midnight to just grab some drinks outside and hang out for a bit (also to save on the cover).

New favorite spot, made it out for Mister Sunday before summer was over and it was one of the better parties I’ve ever been to. The staff emphasizes safety and having a good time. The crowd is super diverse, fashionable, friendly. The kind of place where you can find your tribe. Great vibes all around!

I had my afternoon birthday party for 20 people on July 23, 2022 in the yard and it was great. The manager was very helpful and I was allowed to open a tab so that my guests could order drinks and food. The mixed drinks were great, as was the music and the vibe of the other patrons. I also loved that all the tables had umbrellas, in addition to the many trees and greenery in the yard. I would definitely have another birthday party here.

Overall, this place overall was amazing! Loved the vibe once you get inside. The only thing you need to know is beware of the door guys as they have a power ego and do not clearly list who they are. They'll kick you out for just asking who they are. At first, it seemed like the person offering tickets was a random scammer.

Bad door staff I’ve enjoyed this spot many times; however tonight the door staff changed my feelings. We made online reservations. With two lines at the door, I approached the bouncer to ask for clarity. They helped me out and I said “thank you sir”. Another staff member approached me and said I had misgendered the bouncer, and my whole group was not allowed in for the night. While I am sorry, we had planned a birthday party around this well loved place. After all the travel, no hospitality was found. I hope anyone looking for reliability and kindness steer far way from nowadays.

Cool dance spot. Kinda crowded but expected for a Friday night. Had a yummy gin Yerba mate and danced a lot. Super cool atmosphere and outdoor space. Felt very safe

Best part/vibe in Brooklyn by people who love and care about the people in their community. No non consensual touching, no photos on the dance floor, no creeps are a few ways they keep you safe. These folx want to feed your body and soul and I am here for it!

Top tier venue. Employees dope. Venue dope. No complaints. I’ll be back next summer!

Literally, an out of this world vibe… Would recommend opting for the margarita picante instead of the lemon sour. Was here for an unexpected Friday night drink and this place certainly gave us something to talk about! Nowadays apparently gets pretty rowdy so pick your days/timing well & enjoy

Nowadays, I often wonder, “where is the best place to fall in love on a Sunday?” Well, I don’t have to search any further, as this experience is truly something to top. The bathroom experience was clean and immaculate, and everyone is kind and fun. And hot in a weird way. Enjoy falling in love with your future long term partner here cx

I was a big fan of Nowadays! I loved the outdoor and indoor concept. The outdoor space especially is a very covid friendly space with lots of seating and cool areas. We ended up not checking out the indoors though since it cost so much to go indoors versus outdoors but I’ve heard it’s really nice inside as well. I would 100% go back when I’m in town!

Nowadays is among my most favorite NYC music venues. The crowd and the artists playing there are generally pretty friendly. The no phone policy and presence of the staff members enhance the experience. If you're in mood for no-nonsense dancing with a system that packs a punch and equally good lighting this is the place. The bar area and the outdoors also serve as great places to refresh if you need a break before you get back to dancing.

Sustainability: F - every single cup was disposable plastic Value: F - I asked the bartender for their drink recommendation… they recommended a great sounding drink except when go to pay and it was $29 for a “double Hennessy”. The drink tasted good, but nothing special. I have never paid that much for a drink in my life and only found out the price after the drink was made. I felt like I was not only ripped off, but also taken advantage of. Stick to the menu—which isn’t that cheap to begin with. My fault for not knowing, their fault for taking advantage. Never again. Taste: B - the drinks weren’t strong but tasted good. Food was decent. Ambiance: B+ - cool outdoor vibe. But not worth the outrageous prices. Overall: disappointing and wouldn’t go back. Not worth the $$$.

Being here feels like attending a music festival. It's a huge space, their programming is always good. Non alcoholic drinks, air conditioned interior, unique lighting of the dance floor. I love the no cell phone rule.

Pretty mediocre overall. We went on a Friday night, not that busy. The doorman charged the group in front of us (same ratio) half as much as we paid (discount). Then before we got into the club, we all got a lecture for a couple of mins on how a bunch of basic stuff including discrimination is unacceptable! (first time ever I saw this). The outdoor space is nice, more like a beer garden, but there was also no bar outside! The bartenders were relatively nice, drinks were very basic though.

Extremely unique experience and a very safe space for all. DJs were on point, drinks were very reasonably priced

4/4⭐️ sports bar. Nice wide open space for viewing via a large projector screen. Large speakers for good sound quality. Good variety of drinks served in plastic glasses because you know, supporting sports can get a bit rowdy. 1/4 ⭐️ restaurant. The food is terrible. Hands down the worst fish and chips I've ever had in my life. The fish was fresh and undercooked and the fries were too salty and lukewarm at best. I had to really drag myself through that meal cause at $16 I wasn't throwing that out.

Absolutely livid. A staff of tyrants. The experience started well, we loved the idea of the place but the execution was unacceptable. After paying $28 for a ticketed event, we were kicked out after glancing at a phone on the dance floor. Even after immediately putting the phone away and apologizing for the accidental rule break, they pretty aggressively escorted us out. Not giving us a chance to notify our group that we had to leave and barely giving us time to get our coats. We are a very tame, rule following group. Not at all rowdy or causing any kind of disturbance. We were treated as if we had done something intolerable. While we were super on board with the rules set out at the start of the night, excited to not be on phones on the dance floor, relieved that there were guidelines in place for making it a safe, welcoming, and inclusive space, we left feeling disrespected and honestly shocked that that’s how the night ended. No plans to ever go back to this place.
