Great place to hang out! Don’t expect to get a lot of work done on a laptop though because the place was intentionally designed with no visible outlets. It would be great for meetings. The architectural design is beautiful! The coffee is good and they offer additional, unique items on their menu than the traditional Starbucks locations. They have a variety of pastries downstairs. The raspberry cheesecake is very good. The Roasted Squash Salad was very tasty. I tried the espresso martini flight which comes with 3 different sample size martini’s and I was honestly expecting them to be better given that it is made with the well known commercial brand coffee.

What an amazing Starbucks experience! It is a beautifully designed building with a great aesthetic. They have demonstrations on the process of roasting coffee. They offer samples of new brews and flavors. The new drink they had at the end August when we visited was a whisky barrel cold brew, and it DID NOT disappoint! We ordered the cold brew flight and a raspberry tart and that was also very delicious. I highly recommend checking this location out if you are in New York. It is one of the few in the United States.

This is a premium driven Starbucks that serves a higher quality and selection of coffees, services, and foods. Instead of the typical limited foods in a refrigerator, this store has its own bakery, roasters, alcohol bar, and wider selection of paraphernalia. Overall, the design and decorations are beyond that standard Starbucks setting. It has a darker color palette with gold and wood trims. This is definitely a step up and caters to clienteles that spend more.

I loved this place!! The drinks were delicious but a bit on the expensive side. It’s a non tipping establishment so it makes up for it. The bartenders were so fun and helped us select the best drinks for our palates. The food was also surprisingly good and priced really well. I got the pasta salad which was made with homemade pasta it was delicious. We also were served very quickly.

Stylish high-end Starbucks coffee shop. Coffee and food are highly priced. The espresso roast was delicious and of a fruity, mild and still long lasting typical espresso taste. It's truly nice to experience this place early in the morning when it's not so crowded yet and when it's easy to find a spot to sit down and enjoy the coffee.

It is a unique Starbucks with nice atmosphere, great pastry and dessert options as well as merchandise. Great and friendly staff - Day recommended a drink for my little one, who really enjoyed it. Sitting there while enjoying a drink is a great experience.

I don't know if it's just me, but walking in here is really disorienting. There's just so many things going on and all over the place that it's difficult to really understand where to go. There are multiple counters and baristas, a downstairs, and an upstairs, and not a lot of signs that actually tell you what things are. The prices are also on the high side, but that's to be expected at a Starbucks Reserve location. Also, it's worth noting that seating is available, but not plentiful. I went at 10 PM on a Friday night and there were only a few open so I'd imagine that it's typically very packed during normal business hours. The restroom deserves a section on its own. It's a gender neutral walk in restroom with different stalls built into the actual walls and sort of in a rectangular shape. Some of the doors are push and some are pull for some reason, but overall, it was a very good-looking and pristine restroom. Unfortunately, others also took more than a few seconds to comprehend the unique restroom design and I had to help a man and an elderly woman figure it out. The doors to open each stall were also heavy so some people thought they were in use, but didn't realize they just needed to pull harder. Anyways, I'm still rating 5 stars because the strawberry croissant was really good and obviously this is a unique location with a unique experience. I'm sure coffee and Starbucks lovers will enjoy it a lot more.

All Starbucks or coffee lover should definitely visit this place. This place are really huge. You can find a lot of things such as some gifts or fresh coffee. also it has three floor you can find a fancy bar is upstairs. Furthermore, you can find a pizza bakery in middle floor and the last one is you can see how to prepare real Starbucks coffee downstairs. the price of goods are a little bit higher than normal. but you can trust me. It’s totally worth it. if you want to take a video of photo this place definitely is a good choice for this. I don’t know you can find in this place free toilet and freeze water.

The Starbucks Reserve Roastery is the epitome of a fancy Starbucks. Regardless of how you may feel about the coffee giant (I personally enjoy them) this one is next level. Sporting multiple levels and upscale experience this location has a seated bar upstairs overlooking the whole place serving up coffee inspired cocktails. A main level which has a pop up bar (serving mimosas when we arrived, their general merchandise which is all top quality (and costs top dollar) as well as a general barista area serving some of the more known as well as some surprise variants of drinks. The lower level had a very lounge feel and offered tastes of some rare coffees as well as flights of cold brews, coffee, and espresso. Did I mention they also have FRESH baked goods to enjoy as well as some desserts.

It was really nice experience! Especially I can compare the different blended coffee side by side with 'Coffee experience'. It gave me a chance to find my own preference of coffee tastes. I strongly recommend to visit here. Even my son was so excited to see the big roasting of coffee. And surely the dessert 🍨 was good! Going well with coffee. I'll try next time too.

I am a coffee lover so it was a good find, I had the Dark Chocolate Mocha and it was delicious, the place is huge and you are able to see how they roast the coffee, they have an upper label for cocktails too!! Nice place to grab lunch, coffee or just drinks!! The staff is supper friendly and helpful!! I’ll be coming more often since I live in the area, I highly recommend this place!! ☕️👌 Nice ambiance, cozy, clean and friendly staff!!

Biggest Starbucks in city with actual roasting operations. Roasting coffee in lower level offers demos on the process. The smaller roasting operation at main level is smaller. Main level has actual bakery operation where they create their own pastries which are way better than what is in their shops. Downstairs below lower level is their restrooms.. several small individual pods with the sink outside in general area. There is a balcony with bar and some seating for those who see host to be a seated guest there. On main and lower level there is not much seating so it is packed with all the tourists who arrive there so take into account you may be walking around looking for a seat. They also have three specialty brews such as from Ethiopia and Madagascar (don’t remember third). The coffee here, at least the latte, has smoother finish than regular Starbucks. Adjacent to Chelsea Market and up the block from newly minted Pier 57 Food Court where City Winery is and Little Island. This area certainly going to be hopping during tourist season. Bon appetite!

This place is great to have a good cup of coffee and enjoy the view. We had the Smoked salmon on brioche and it was amazing. You get to see the coffee beans journey from raw to roasted to your cup. You can also buy grounded coffee. We will definitely come back with kids.

Think Starbucks but if it were a nice sit down restaurant. That’s pretty much what the Starbucks Reserve Roastery in NYC is. Love how friendly the staff are here. If you’re looking for desserts to order, I would recommend the Chocolate and Candied Hazelnut Tart. A pretty solid choice and indulgent in a good way. The Starbucks Reserve Roastery offers a variety of menu items (such as seasonal drinks, cocktails, pizza, bread, desserts,…etc.) that are not available at their regular stores like their Strawberry Balsamic Spritz. According to my friend, it tasted better than she had expected. Tip: When you enter the Starbucks Reserve Roastery there is a pretty large area (to the left) where you can order your drinks and food. You are offered sparkling water when you sit down. The area to the right is where you can order your drinks and food to go.

Very cool! This is a charming store for being a reserve. Lots of menu items and there is plenty to choose from. The bakery items, pizzas, etc are all handmade on site. The presentation is top notch with dining in, I loved the hazelnut bianco iced latte. The staff is so friendly also, and I feel this is a great place to make friends, laugh and enjoy coffee.

I had never heard of Starbucks Reserve Roasters, a large and fantastic coffee roasting operation with many baristas and snacks and meals and drinks available on several tiers. The facility is brand new and the employees are extremely friendly and efficient. Probably the best cappuccino of my life! Fab croissants and a delicious smoked salmon on brioche. There is a fireplace! Really nice place to sit and watch Chelsea walk by outside with a fire and great coffee and treats on a cold rainy day! What a find!

I've been to the reverse Roastery Seattle and Chicago, first time in New York City location. I must say in terms of space is smaller then the rest, but still keeps the same essence and accessibility. The ambience is incredible pleasant, from having a quick bite, enjoy your coffee with a view and a nice conversation. the tall windows wall makes the natural light brings up the space to a more airy feeling. It has two levels, a basement level bar, darker and more intimate , regular level, and a mezzanine level where the the bar is. Bar doesn't open until 11 am I believe, but in the meantime there's enough to entertain yourself. Service is quick, unless it gets very busy, you might have to wait a second to get your order ready. It has 3 different service area including the basement part. The staff is very proactive and professional.

Such a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Very interesting brew methods to try! I recommend you go to the lower level bar and ask for a siphon coffee! I've never seen a brew method like this before! This place is also nice to go and relax for a couple hours by the fire, eating a pizza or pastry they make in house. Promise you've never been to a Starbucks like this before!

The Starbucks New York Roastery was a great small stop on our way to Lower Manhattan. We arrived at 10 am and it wasn’t too crowded yet. The food and drinks were delicious- I recommend the hazelnut croissant. Try the special blends downstairs, sometimes there are some really special coffees at the roastery. I’m not sure what’s up with people being weird about a gender neutral bathroom here, but it’s literally the same ones you have in your homes - the stalls are completely enclosed top to bottom for privacy.

If you are a Starbucks fan, this is the must-visit flagship Reserve Roastery store, right by the Chelsea Market. - More extensive coffee drinks, pastries, and hot breakfast items. - Large retail space with many unique souvenir gadgets for coffee aficionados. - Friendly and helpful services from master baristas. There 3 two floors that look like a large Starbucks store, a pizza kitchen and a bar, but all 3 serves from the same menu items. Variety of seating options with upbeat background music. Fun place to visit, especially for Starbucks fans!

First time checking out the Starbucks Reserve Roastery at 61 9th Avenue right across from Chelsea Market and it was simply awesome. A real education on the various brewing options and amazing assortment of craft coffee flavors. You can sign up online for the guided tour of this wondrous facility starting at 8am but know that the spots fill up fast. We missed it but still got a lot out of the experience when we signed up at the Roastery for a tasting of 2 flavors for 2 people with 2 pastries to munch which costs us $45. Not bad for these premium brews as you got to watch it being made while getting an amazing education on the brewing process from our server, who was awesome! We tried the siphon brewing process with the Starbucks “Christmas 2023” and “Vietnam Da Lat” flavored brews. Simply delicious ☕️. Assortment of milks to choose from whether almond to oat to dairy which enhanced the flavors for me. They have a bar upstairs for coffee flavored liqueur which we will definitely check out next time. They had some free samples of Whiskey 🥃 Coffee blends when you first came in which was a nice touch. Very crowded almost like being on the subway so if you don’t like crowds, waiting and lines (the typical NY experience) then this is not for you. The bodies never stop coming. However, cute date experience even if you aren’t a coffee drinker which I am not. It was a reasonably affordable top notch experience by NYC standards. For the coffee lovers out there, a tasteful journey enjoying the coffee roasting from the bean 🫘 to the cup ☕️ Cheers!

This was such an awesome starbucks experience! The first time I came by this place was by chance, and unfortunately they were closed (after 9pm). I made it a point to come back, and again it was late, but only the area where they make you coffee was closed this time (7pm), the market area and upper bar were still open (thankfully, lol). They have SO much you can look at and buy. I love that you can see how they roast their coffee, and will ground whatever beans you purchase right there. The cocktails were amazing! I had no idea any Starbucks served alcohol. Our bartender was amazing too and gave us both pastries on the house, surprisingly we weren't allowed to tip them because they don't accept tips. The atmosphere was beautiful and this was definitely worth the money. I am going to have to make it a point to come during the day to get the full experience of this place.

Such a great spot to people watch and watch the process of turning coffee into something we drink. Carlos and James were so knowledgeable and would explain the process. They would answer any of the questions I had. The espresso flight was so yummy! I had the Peppermint Mocha Espresso Martini and it was everything you would want in an alcoholic Peppermint Mocha beverage. The food was delicious!

I had the pleasure of visiting Starbucks Reserve again recently, and I must say, the cappuccino was absolutely perfect this time. The quality of their coffee truly shines through. Now, it's worth noting that Starbucks Reserve is a bit on the pricey side, but it's definitely worth it as an occasional treat. The high-end experience, coupled with that flawless cappuccino, makes it a special indulgence that I'd recommend to anyone looking for a premium coffee experience.

Interior was just spectacular. I could observe how their coffee was roasted, from start to finish. All the beans they had over there was roasted within very short window. And you could taste all the beans for your coffee. Employees were very kind and attentive.

Amazing Starbucks Roastery experience in the best city of the world. The design and the space is spectacular. Although there was a lot of people, it wasn’t crowded and I found a seat to enjoy my coffee and croissant pretty easily. The prosciutto croissant was really good! Lots of cool souvenirs!

Extensive amount of coffee choices here! The ambiance inside is really nice, although it can be a bit crowded. It's nice to sit down and chill out. It's clean and modern inside. I ordered a Raspberry Cheesecake and it was alright... a little dry and crumbly. I don't think it's worth the price, so you can probably skip this and just get some coffee instead!

Ticked off my bucket list after a long time, honestly this Starbucks looks out of the world! The menu too is different from the regular ones and seems they have a tailored one for this location. The ambiance is next level and feels like you are visiting some fancy place.. well that's what it's supposed to mean I believe! I ordered some hazelnut latte and damn! It was very smooth, honestly it felt like a coffee from a neighborhood cafe but on the other hand it's price was a lot i.e. $8 for a small one! Well it's a one time experience for sure and it's a must one if you like coffee!

Starbucks Reserve Roastery in Manhattan is a coffee lover's paradise. The ambiance is vibrant, and the coffee selection is impressive, offering a journey through unique flavors. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, enhancing the overall experience. My only gripe is the limited seating, making it a bit challenging to secure a spot during peak hours. It seems everyone wants to linger, creating a bit of a shuffle when trying to grab a seat. Despite this minor flaw, the quality of coffee and the inviting atmosphere make Starbucks Reserve Roastery a must-visit for coffee enthusiasts in Manhattan.

A must visit for any Starbucks lover! This is the second Reserve Roastery my husband and I have visited. We love trying the different, more unique menu items. The wait time to order wasn't too long and we were able to find seating pretty easily.

What this Starbucks, specifically, lacks in the local, “mom and pop” feel, it makes up in experiences. It is one of the most pleasurable coffee (and other) drinking experiences. Do you want a drink to loosen up a little? It’s got it. You want a hot cup of coffee and a warm snack? Easy. They have a large coffee bean roaster and the decor is trying to emulate an industrial roastery. They’ve got quite a few options for food and drink so you definitely won’t be let down. The seasonal coffee flavors are fantastic and always a treat. This is a place I’ll always come when I’m in NYC.

An amazing place to visit and enjoy. It begins with the excellent shop indoors with exclusive items available only in Starbucks Reserve stores, like awesomely designed coffee mugs. The store has other objects and decorations of note, so browse around! Then afterwards, a line leads to the cashiers, and you encounter a menu with items not in an regular Starbucks. The staff is nice in there too, and they provided be with help and understanding of the place and it’s procedures. The food was great too, I had the delicious Whiskey Barrel Cold Brew Coffee (or similarly named) and the Smoked Salmon and Cream Cheese sandwich. The outdoor dining was nice. Overall, I had a great experience!

An unique experience to be here as this Starbucks Reserve is only one of six in the world. Beautiful architecture inside out, delicious food and a very strong, bold nitro coffee. Be ready to show ID and vaccination card. Also bring your power bank if you intend to be here for a little longer, no outlet available.

I recently visited the Starbucks Reserve in New York City, and it was truly an exceptional experience! This isn't your typical Starbucks – it's a coffee lover's paradise, showcasing the best of what the brand has to offer in a sleek and sophisticated setting. As soon as I entered, I was taken aback by the impressive interior design and the buzzing atmosphere. The knowledgeable and friendly staff were eager to guide me through the extensive menu, offering recommendations tailored to my taste preferences. It was a treat to watch the skilled baristas at work, crafting each beverage with passion and precision. The selection of drinks and food was outstanding, featuring exclusive blends and unique creations that you won't find at your average Starbucks. In summary, the Starbucks Reserve in New York City offers a truly elevated coffee experience that will delight both casual coffee drinkers and aficionados alike. I highly recommend stopping by for a memorable and indulgent coffee adventure – it's definitely worth the visit!

Love going here to try the foods and drinks they don't offer at their regular Starbucks locations and priced are reasonable. Highly recommend the Whiskey barrel aged cold brew and the espresso drinks. The chocolate torte-style dessert is scrumptious!

Definitely had higher expectations for their coffee but it was like any latte I can get from any Starbucks location. The atmosphere was definitely special! I have never seen anything like it before! But it was pretty dark and gloomy in a way which I did not appreciate much. Going to Starbucks Reserve Roastery in NY was definitely a lifetime experience but only needs to be done once.

I don’t drink coffee but wow! This place is really nice and the service was amazing. This three-level Starbucks houses a bar for food and drinks, beautiful interiors, and smells really good! Also, don't forget to check out the restrooms😁 We ordered drinks, some coffee, some alcoholic, and had a few bites after checking out the huge golden machine at the back of the store. It's a nice place to catch up with friends and lounge.

Coffee aficionados will love this place. Stunning interiors with overtly coffee vibes. Take some time to absorb this place and order the right coffee. Went there for dessert after brunch and I had the best espresso martini, well I had 3 because I order the flight. The brownie chocolate cake was sweet enough to pair with. It's a beautiful place with nice vibes and people. Keep in mind that drinks take longer when they're busy.

If you love Starbucks coffee or not this place has it all. Amazing food and cocktails of course plenty of coffee and treats. I highly recommend waiting for the bar we had seats faster than we were told the wait would be. By the time I was done looking around we were being seated. Our server was attentive and pleasant. The Boulevardier cocktail was one of the best drinks I've ever had. A little pricey but totally worth it. I loved the progressive bathrooms and all machines that are fun to watch the "magic" happen.

The wonderful people who work here are quite knowledgeable and amazingly pleasant. It is very busy here, with 4 different experiences on 3 floors, but everything moves smoothly and quicker than one would think. This is the nicest Starbucks I've never been to. Everything he is maintained to the highest degree. They receive the beans green and roast them on site. After their roasted their ground and then brewed into coffee and espresso. If you're near by it's definitely worth a stop to check out all the equipment. If you're lucky they'll be roasting while you're there.

I really loved this place. The nice thing about it is that it doesn't sell your typical Starbucks items; it's more specialty type of Starbucks products that you can only find if you visit the reserve. I really enjoyed how they had a bar. A tray of three different types of espresso martinis were ordered and they were all delicious. This place is a must go if you're a fan of Starbucks coffee, treats, and want drinks that include alcohol.
