Flying over the most wonderful city of the World is always a unique experience. These guys from Zip makes it better. This time I had the opportunity to ride in front which is great for a photographer. A must if you can.

Good family experience with HeliNY. We didn't book because the weather wasn't great during our stay. We therefore preferred to wait for the opportune moment. We got there at 9am. The team is expeditious but overall friendly. I found myself in the front with the pilot and the rest of the family found themselves in the back. This was not a problem because we were able to communicate during the flight with the headsets. The front seat is really great because you get a 180 degree view, but the back seats offer a beautiful view. Those behind the pilot see better on the way out and those behind the co-pilot will appreciate it more on the way back. Small disappointment because we do not pass above Manhattan but to the west above the river. It’s a unique experience 😍 that I highly recommend!

Fantastic experience - great and unforgettable flight over NYC. Only 2 hrs before our initial flight we asked them to reschedule us for tomorrow due to bad and cloudy, rainy weather. They approved that within minutes. So, if you have such issues do call or email them. Company to recommend.

Great experience. By accident we went a day early for our flight, but they were happy to accommodate us anyway. The helicopter was a modern Bell 429 and our Norwegian pilot was friendly and pointed out all the sites. Had a great time.

Was quite nervous beforehand and the entrance to the tiny airport did nothing to calm me. Felt like a cow queuing up for slaughter. Inside is small and you're moved around like livestock whilst the staff yell across to each other in Spanish. That being said, all the staff were extremely friendly and the helicopter ride was delightful. Our pilot was super nice and happy to answer any questions. Once I was in the helicopter (first time) I immediately felt much more relaxed. Overall a great experience.

A must do tour! Staff provided excellent service and ensured we understood every phase of the process and safety instructions. Amazing views and our pilot pointed out points of interest the entire ride up the river and back down. They snap a group picture by the helicopter right before boarding for purchase as well.

It was the most marvelous experience I had in my entire life. We went for the ultimate package experience and it was tremendous. WHAT A VIEW Of course, it’s some money but you will forever remember it and the crew is really nice

I really don't have enough words to describe how unbelievable this experience was. It's not the cheapest thing to do, but it is worth every single dollar / penny. We picked 'The Ultimate Tour' flight which lasted 20 mins. The staff at the Heliport were all lovely. The pilot not only flew the helicopter, but also commented on the buildings and points of interest which made the flight even more special.. This was a birthday treat, but I would definitely do it again. As you can see from the photos, we did the flight during daylight hours, maybe next time it will be a night flight.. Thank you again for a memorable birthday experience.

Booked a helicopter flight through HeliNY and it was just the best experience. Was checked in quickly, and provided with lifejacket and then went to wait in a comfortable waiting area. After a brief wait and a safety video we were lead onto the helipad to get in the helicopter. The tour itself was breathtaking, offering amazing views of New York, the pilot was excellent adding a little flourish to each sweeping turn and also pointing out everything that we could see from the helicopter. The helicopter itself has floor to ceiling windows which allows amazing visibility of the stunning views outside. It is quite a short trip but one you'll never forget. Really recommend it!

A one-of-a-kind experience. Birthday gift for my 18 year old daughter, she came out of this flight with stars in her eyes. She was lucky enough to be next to the pilot. The 17-20 minute flight is perfect.

Definitely a must-do if you're in New York. An indescribable feeling to circle over the Statue of Liberty in a helicopter and see Manhattan from the air! Of course it's not cheap, but they are impressions that you won't forget so quickly! The reservation was very easy to make online. We were there a little early, but that wasn't a problem; we were spontaneously rescheduled for an earlier flight. The weather was a dream that day and our pilot showed us the important things and told us a few sentences about them. The ground staff was also absolutely friendly and relaxed. An absolute recommendation!

What a neat experience. They have a very well run operation. We were in and out in a timely manner. Our pilot was fantastic. It felt safe. And yes it’s a lot of $ for just a 20min ride, but I suppose you try buying a helicopter, hiring a pilot, securing the airspace, getting a heliport, meeting all the safety regulations, and charging less. Seemed like a pretty fair deal for what we got. The views are amazing.

Of course a helicopter flight around the Statue of Liberty and over de Hudson is an awesome experience. No doubt about that. The pilot made it even more special. He was a great guide. If you have never been on a helicopter I would recommend it with 5 stars. In that case you get two awesome experiences. If you already had the pleasure to fly a helicopter before, you might want to reconsider. There are other awesome things you can do with 200+ bucks.

Thrilling. Exhilarating. Adrenaline rush. We were on the edge of our seats during our helicopter tour of NYC with HeliNY. The views were downright gorgeous and the commentary informative. We saw the city from a new vantage point and gained a new perspective on life. Along the way, we made memories. Sometimes you need to be a tourist in your own city. I recently had the incredible opportunity to go on a helicopter tour over New York, and it was absolutely amazing! From the moment we took off, I was in awe of the breathtaking views that unfolded before me. The aerial perspective of the city was truly unparalleled. I could see all the iconic landmarks, such as the Statue of Liberty, Empire State Building, and Central Park, from a whole new angle. The organization of the tour worked perfectly. We were picked up by a shuttle from Linden train station and brought back there after the tour. The flight lasted 30 minutes as stated and was very nice. The provider is a little outside, but is highly recommended.

I can't say enough good things about HeliNY. Everyone during the whole process was top notch. Our escort and our pilot, Bill were the best. We went to see the city lights at dark. I've never seen anything like it. It was the highlight of our trip. I went with my mom who's never flown in her life, my oldest child who has never flown in a helicopter, my toddler who's never flown, and it's been about 20 years for me. We booked directly through them ahead of time and they have a great cancellation policy. Highly recommend

What a great experience! Though the time goes by way too fast, we loved every minute of it! The people were so friendly, the helicopter looked so cool, was clean and had big windows! And it was a fantastic price! First time on a helicopter, so I was nervous I’d get nauseous — but not with those smooth helicopters and great pilots! Definitely recommend it!

An amazing way to see New York City from a completely different perspective. The staff was friendly and the process was efficient. The ride itself was smooth and our pilot was knowledgeable and charismatic. Worth the investment to see this great city in a whole new way.

It wasn't what I imagined in my head. Very very expensive, nice views but with today's access to aerial footage and imagery, it just wasn't the "unique" experience it's billed to be. Our pilot was sorta boring, his tour commentary was matter of fact and uninteresting. That said, for someone who may be super into getting to ride in a helicopter and just have that experience itself, then I would say go for it.... but for most people, it's probably not worth the cost.

Amazing experience, great and friendly staff, all very well organized. It is slightly expensive for sure, at the same totally worth it, as you don't do this all the time. Around 6 people are placed in one helicopter. We didn't have to wait at all it really goes fast, it's enough to arrive 30 minutes before the flight. Make sure to bring an ID with you.

The by far best attraction in New York - a sightseeing flight over Manhattan,even better than the viewing platforms. Highly recommendable, and if you don't have a lot of time, this is the one thing you should do. Don't go for second best.

I had a complete blast! I've never done this before and I loved every second of it. I got to sit up front with the pilot as well. The staff was phenomenal too. I can't wait to do the other offered tours!

Luxurious! Beautiful experience. We were supposed to fly from Manhattan, but thanks to the visit of the president, they changed our flight from New Jersey from Linden airport without any problem and thanks to that we also got some money back because it is a cheaper and longer flight from NJ, the staff is very helpful, kind and helpful in to everyone. A wonderful experience and for me a great flight half an hour before sunset (not exactly at sunset). Getting to NJ is easy and their driver will pick you up at Linden station for free.

After booking, I requested for a staff member to take a picture of my and my soon to be fiancé and they couldn’t accommodate that request. They asked me to come 3 hours before to propose and take the picture. Literally ruined the entire evening. Very inhumane experience with the over the phone staff and crew member that couldn’t take 10 seconds to take 2/3 pictures. In conclusion, go with other helicopter tours that will be more understanding for particular occasions.

I requested the 15 min flight, but one of the helicopters was delayed I was then upgraded to the 20 min flight free of charge. Definitely recommend if you want to get a view of the city from above.

Besides being made to wait a long time to board the helicopter this was an amazing experience. We chose the longer tour which really gave us a complete view of the city. Our pilot was very kind and knowledgeable. We all felt safe during the whole flight.

Amazing experience!!! We were lucky with the weather for December. The pilot told us lots about the sights and made it an unforgettable experience.

They have streamlined the service so much that people feel like cattle. Short flight and the experience with the queues etc was not great. If you get a great seat in the chopper you might enjoy it much more but otherwise the experience is just not worth the money.

An amazing view from the top of N.Y. It would be better if there was no confusion on the booking. They told me to come to the New Jersey heliport however the actual booking was Manhattan heliport. I’ve paid 200USD round trip for the taxi and waste of time however overall experience was good. My wife was satisfied with the sunset cruise over the sky.

I highly recommend this if you want to see all the sights of NYC in a short amount of time. Flight fits 7 guest. We only had 5 with us. Lightest weight sits in the front next to pilot. The staff were all very friendly! Definitely worth the price! So happy to check this off my bucket list!
