One of the worst hotel experiences I've ever suffered through! I'll start from the beginning; dirty sheets, and the mattress underneath was a color I can't even begin to describe. Unfinished tile work in the bathroom, and what was finished was filthy and covered in grime. TV is always on a porn channel when I turn the TV on, so beware of you have young ones in the room with you. Non-porn channels are fuzzy and some of the TVs are not even programmed with many channels. You will have to auto-program them yourself. Staff is very cold. They lied to me about cheaper room availability just to get me to spend extra money on the more expensive room. Generally the worst hotel experience I've ever had. Can safely say I will not be coming back!!!

It's some of the lowest life on the planet go there but they're my friends so don't expect the Hilton, don't expect customer service, expect clean towels and expect to have fun and get out the next morning without anybody knowing you were having fun

This hotel is classic NYC. Located in the bustling gayborhood of Chelsea, you are close to everything the city has to offer. It's a quick walk to the train. There are literally dozens of food options within a block or two and the area is about as safe as one can ask for in Manhattan. The accommodations are not fancy. The hotel itself is absolutely not a luxury hotel. However, the Senton Hotel is an absolute gem of resource for folks who may not have the budget for a fancy spot. The hotel staff are respectful, accommodating, and understand that they're providing a vital service to folks in the local community as well as folks visiting. They give respect to anyone staying provided you provide them with respect yourself. Everybody is welcome at the Senton. Have you got the budget for a luxury accommodations? This is not your place. Are you low on cash and need a place to stay? This is an excellent choice.

Its overpriced a bit for the service they offer. It is clean, as much it can be, and the housekeeping really gives it all. Now the rest....the bed, I don't know what to say. The TV is really bad from every point. The usb is ripped out from the TV, you can't even plug anything into. Ive been couple of times there, its just getting worse. The toilet seat was actually moving

If you've heard storied about things that have happened at the senton they're probably true. You can get a room with shared restroom or for a "short stay" that being said what's good about the senton is that they are consistent. With fixed rates, when other hotels are 3x normal rates the sentons remain the same which can be a bargain. If you can afford somewhere nicer you probably would be better off staying there but if senton is the top of your budget at least they have a great staff, decently sized rooms and a central location. It is what it is.

The room was small and there's no ventilation in the room or bathroom the bathroom was not very nice the tub had a bad stain and standing water in it. The bed and pillows we comfortable and u can tell the place is cleaned constantly you can smell the cleaning products. I only stayed for a short stay so that's just what I can say about the room. Good for a short notice kind of thing also there a 20 day max stay limit for those that might need that

The city should shut it down - what a disaster. Full of junkies renting rooms by the hour.

This is a historic building that needs life support. The prices are expensive even by NYC standards for what you get which isn't much. No flat screen TVs .. mostly shared bathroom.. and the deluxe rooms haven't been remolded since early 1970's.. it looks and smells like it's worn down. One thing...which is good considering the amount of partying going on in the rooms-- no one hears what is going down in your room unless they have their ear pressed against the door. Totally different than newer hotels where you hear your neighbors so clearly...you need a cigarette after they got it on!!

The Last stop on a late night entry into one of the greatest cities in the world.....well to be fair it's the last stop in the area. Oh what's the last stop, low cash , list bags , now more hotel rooms to be booked cause it's the week of New Years. Your hyped with family and bags with all the excitement but booked alittle too late. Let the sentons save you the stress. Bring cash and rest up on them. It may not be the best .., but it's located at the gates of the greatest city in the world. So for that view it's A ++.

The staff at the front are always helpful and friendly. Looks it's not the plaza but I'd rather stay at the Senton any day. The cleaning staff were always working and the place is very clean...me and my brother and my cousin and his girlfriend stayed here many many times and I can say it's a piece of old new York City...the "not so good" old days that most people never experienced. Thank you Senton staff for everything.

Was disgustingly dirty...and at 160$ a night, you'd presume it would be clean. Granted the location is great...but it's definitely not worth the money. The covers had burn holes in them. The tub was disgusting. The showerhead barely worked. When I walked into the room...they had the TV on and it was on adult content. Not something my children should have been seeing.

Staff is amazing. The only thing that had me upset was the condition of the room. Infested with roaches. The covers looked as if someone shot a gun through them. The room was barely clean
