I’m a big fan of planet fitness and I travel to many of there locations frequently. I always have a great experience and workout. NEVER IN MY LIFE have I ever seen a gym in such a disgusting condition. THE LIST: There is mildew and dirt on the walls, the vents and beams are COMPLETELY covered in dust, the exercise equipment is always broken and ran down, the weights are rusted, broken up, covered in dirt and dust and scattered all over the gym, there is always URINE, rust, mildew and sometimes FECES on the floor and walls in the bathroom, there is always a huge puddle of water at the only water fountain and the place is absolutely under staffed. This has to be the WORST planet fitness gym EVER!!! The thing that makes this even more sickening is that COVID 19 is still around and spreading. DON’T BELIEVE ME?! Check out the pictures and video. I see more machines out of order. Hours have been shortened are these going to get fixed pr what???? There are 4 stair masters one has been out of order for 2 months now.... first row3 dont6work 2 row 4 don't work. Row 3 5 don't work!!!

Convenient and affordable but way too overcrowded every time I go. Even late at night or in the mornings it’s packed, free weights are almost never available and they're left scattered all over the gym. Half the time the paper towel dispensers are empty, even in the morning. even though I live in walking distance I still take the subway to another location because it makes that much of a difference.

Gym is free for teens which is good but management have no consideration to the paying members which have limited time after work. Now the gym is flooded with teens. Do they have specific days or hours so the situation can be win win for teens and other members, of courses not. So now you will find 5 people around each machine and even if you ask when people finish they will tell you others already waiting ( which means their friends coming from home ) So now paying members cannot use the machines any more which is ridiculous. Their policy just open the doors. Not thinking strategically of the implications and of your members who are working and paying you the fees.

I'm fine with the gym. It's location is why I chose it. It literally appears as you exit the subway. I need conveniently located to stay motivated. However, they have got to clean this gym. I do not understand why there are ripped brown paper towels everywhere. They're in between the weights, in the shower drains, they even hang them around the edges of the trash can instead of throwing them in. I'm assuming its meant to be an act of kindness because it'll make the bag lighter for the cleaners if the wet paper towels air dry before they throw them in. But still, it just makes the vibe of the gym seem trashy to have dirty paper towels everywhere. Staff is nice. Equipment seems good so far. Locker room is always questionable. I understand you will see water outside the shower sometimes but the water yesterday was muddy. I'm just hoping it was mud and not poop. It's a good gym with a good crowd. The staff and members are kind. But please stop this ripped up brown paper towel nonsense. it's everywhere.

The place is offering free membership to 14-19 yr old kids. This is a hang out, the kids just goofing around on the machines. The girls are vaping in the lockers. I am not recommending this gym.

Rude customer service, the young tall thin pale boy who works the front desk was apparently watching me as I as a black card holder was utilizing the massage chair. I fell asleep in it, as the area was completely empty the entire time, he abruptly woke me up and excused me. I will never ever visit that planet fitness again. Shame on you for hiring that pseudo security guard.

Looks like I'll be canceling my membership. They bended the knee to the Mayor's unconstitutional orders and medical tyanny by requiring proof of vaccination. Oh well. This place is a dump anyway. It's ALWAYS dirty even during the pandemic. Bathrooms are filthy, equipment is always broken, there's dust and grime all over the air vents. But they have the balls to ask for proof of vaccination. Bye bye

Tried to go to the gym today just to be told I need to have proof of vaccination. When I asked what the protocol is for people like me who CAN'T get vaccinated, the ladies answer was "Uh idk. Cancel your membership or put it on pause". When I called and explained the situation, they said that's a question for the manager and that she'd call me back. She still hasn't called me back. While the mandate may not be the gyms fault, your lack of effort or care for people like me who can't vaccinate,  who ACTUALLY WIPE DOWN EQUIPMENT and who has continuously worn a mask to the facility, IS!! This gym does an awful job of keeping the cleaning stations stocked anyways. Too many members don't wipe down the equipment and the staff fails to tend to the gym far too regularly. But you're more concerned about what goes in other people's bodies🥴 FYI vaccinated people still get sick and still spread the virus. I suggest you put in more effort to ensure that isn't the case.

the cancellation policy for this place is bogus. i moved away 3 months ago, let them know beforehand and they said my membership was successfully cancelled—all good to go. yet they’ve been charging me the past three months and i even mailed them a cancellation request last month but never got any kind of confirmation, wouldn’t be surprised if they just threw in the trash. i tried calling, they tell my i can only cancel in person or by mail. obviously neither of those ways worked so now what? shady business practices, do not trust these thieves.

At 8am, all weights are gone and scattered throughout the gym. Can we get another weight rack? Feels like a waste for me to come and not be able to workout. It’s like this 24/7.

This gym has to be the worse planet fitness i ever been to. Been coming here the past month with my boyfriend. How someone comes in the man’s locker room and steal my boyfriends stuff meanwhile I go downstairs to speak to someone that works there and all the workers are outside having a cyph or smoking cigarettes and no one seems to help or even notice that someone is stealing things. Worst customer service and the worse people go there to steal from others. The workers don’t even help when we asked them to see the cameras. Worst experience ever

Terrible cancellation policy. Most of the experience at Plane Fitness was fine. It was a gym, got the job done. I moved and have been trying to cancel my membership. That can only be done in person (Again, I moved and this is very inconvenient). I could send snail mail (Which seems ridiculous that this is my only option), but also note their policy that they have to have certified mail by the 10th otherwise they will charge another month. After calling in it seems like there is nothing I could do other than the above two options. Yet they have an online system where I can upgrade to give them more money at a click of the button on their site? This seems intentionally difficult to prevent people from cancelling.

Nice gym. Love the showers. I have the black card membership just so I could bring my sister along anytime or a friend without having them pay for their own separate membership. It could be alittle cleaner in the showers but it's still good to wash yourself.

This gym is very good, it has not only new machines now but also good service; the guys usually clean the whole machines, and they're nice. It usually gets packed between 5pm and 8pm but which gym doesn't at that time. My roomie goes there too and I wish she could get more than one coin for the massage chair since no one uses it much.

It serves its purpose. They could have done better with the set up of the tanning booths. It feels awkward that it’s right next to all of the workout machines. It would have been much more logical to have an entirely separate section for this. I only signed up here because it said 24hrs and it’s close… but it’s not a huge planet fitness with a nice set up. No parking lot.

They literally walk around spraying chemicals in the air and activity mopping floors while the gym is busy... It's not a 24hr gym, meaning there are many hours when there are zero people inside. This is to say nothing of the insanely poor gym etiquette of most people here. Avoid at all costs, unless you can't afford to, then good luck. Just cancelled my membership.

Just going to motivate my 13 yrs old son into an active lifestyle away from technology

It is a good gym in the neighborhood and very affordable price. Not the fanciest but gets the job done! Staff is generally very welcoming as well

Really like this gym, it’s so much bigger than some of the other gyms in the area with a bunch of cardio machines, weight training machines, and free weights, didn’t see anything out of order. Generally very a clean and there were a few of those teens that everyone seems to hate but today (Aug 31) is the last day for the teen-free-summer special so I expect the numbers will start to decrease. And the staff were super nice and really helpful. I wanted to try one day before committing to a membership and the girl at the front desk showed me how to get around the fee and get a free trial day plus the people who helped me sign up were really patient going step by step with me I saw a ton of 1 star reviews so I was hesitant about this gym but I think it’s actually very good. Maybe they’ve fixed everything that was so wrong before?

Some aspects are pretty good, like the quantity of some of their machinery. Other are pretty gross or irritating, like the dirty, clogged water fountains that are currently out of order so you have to buy water or dehydrate and the constantly broken /clogged toilets. I also wish the sanitizing bottles weren't empty most of the time and the paper towel dispensers weren't usually empty. Having to walk all the way to the other side of the gym for these things and walk back gets kinda irritating. But hey, could be worse I guess.

This gym is good and staff is very nice especially a young man named Angel he is so nice and attentive. I asked for his name as I always see him doing his best to keep the gym clean as well as the rest of the staff.

Good gym, cheap and affordable. Doesn’t have weights over 60 pounds. Nor does it have free weights to do bench, squat or deadlift. But for 10 dollars a month or 25 a month, pretty good

Pretty solid planet fitness experience. Just always packed. Good luck getting free weights or a squat rack but treadmills usually have some spots open.

I was training more than one year at planet fitness and today when I was going to take out my personal things from the locker I discovered that someone broke my lock and stole my money from my wallet... How is possible if those issues continue happen they don't try to figure out.. the staff called the police but they never came.. I don't wanna go again a place that they are not available to offer me security

Crowded, you get what you pay for I guess. Bathrooms are always filthy and lack soap and sometimes toilet paper. What’s appalling though is how there is barely any cleaning solution and paper towels in multiple stations. How do you not have someone to refill them every few hours? Also many machines are old and dirty. It’s ok for $10 but not worth a penny more.

The place is well kept. The employees are all very pleasant. Almost all machines are in working order which is very important

it's a decent planet fitness. usually clean! but they really need to fix that one stair master that's been broken for over a month and a quarter of the treadmills are out of order. they also need to consider having an employee stationed near the weights--there is a constant problem of people hogging the smith machines and refusing to let people work in even when not using them.

I love this location and have been a member for years. I’m so extremely sad next month they won’t be 24hrs. Late night/early morning is the only time I can visit due to work and now will have to go elsewhere. I will miss this place so very much

The water fountains are still out since last Thursday not good at all. I mentioned to manager on. She didn't offer comp water. I did bring it up to same manger last Thursday i had to ask for comp water she hesitated ultimately I recieved a water. However, I was disappointed that she didn't offer on her own this morning. I had to leave early due to the water maybe 45mins early even after paying for parking meter smh. Lets get this done I didn't have no change for water I wasn't able to bring one either.

I really was pleasantly surprised with this particular planet fitness. I don't live in the area so I come here to work out before work. Firstly there seems to be an adequate amount of staff. Secondly they keep it really clean. Some of the others that I have been too mop but it's with a bucket full of water that is black. It looks like they really do clean and not pretend. Thirdly I have noticed that people do actually clean their machine after using it. Generally there are plenty of machines and a ton of cardio stations. One of the better that I have gone too.

Quiet and empty after hours right about 11pm and up. Good time for people who don't want to feel crowded or wait for weight/ machines to open up. Always a police presence in front or around the area. About the time staff starts cleaning up as well, most of the time there's paper towels and disinfectant to clean the machines and weights. What more is there to say it's a gym with all the weighted machines, cables, free weights you need to start getting it in.

There is the worst customers service i’ve ever seen, they don’t telling everything about membership and because of that you have extra payment. It could be my fault but please, who normal reading 8 pages contract? Customers service should tell everything not just this good things about it. I know it’s my fault, I shouldn’t trust to the “cheep gym” and i’m writing this ad a warning to everyone who wanna join to this gym. Read everything and don’t listening to customers service.

Had a great experience with this company! Pete at the store was great and set up the delivery of my new elliptical on a day that was convenient for me. My schedule is tight and another company lost my business because they could only deliver on a certain day of the week. The delivery when seamlessly. The deliverymen actually work for the company, not just hired to show up with the equipment.They were in and out in 10 minutes, brought their own tools and were knowledgable about the machine.

The staff is very friendly and it’s so easy to check in I love that it’s 24hrs it fits for my schedule and is only two stops away from me The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is it could be cleaner on the floor the locker rooms are always being cleaned when I go but the equipment will have tissue everywhere that people don’t pick up. They need to fix a few elliptical machines and some in the yellow zone other than that it’s perfect my favorite time to go is either super early before 9am or later after 9pm

Went on a guest pass and really liked the facility. Lots of Machines and Equipment. Music is cool. Patrons were alright Looking forward to joining.

Need more cleaning areas for members. Not everyone cleans the machines after they use it. Members should get verbal reminders at check in time and maybe a penalty if not complying with rules. Maybe posted on each machine where very visible. The machines are kept clean. I see cleaners very thoroughly doing their job. The staff is mostly pleasant. Overall I am happy with the gym, alot of machines, just some members are lazy and don't want to clean up after themselves. It's a shame since the staff does work hard at cleaning.

Unacceptable. No one here will keep it real, so I will. This is legit the worst gym in town 💯 This gym is notorious for having people’s belongings stolen from the locker room without any help, the bathroom has countless bugs and burnt crack pipes on the floor, every piece of equipment in here is broken, they scam member’s cash secretly from their accounts each and every other month without any notice, and they allow girls to be harassed here on a daily occasion. Grown people letting this happen. I’ve NEVER been to a worse gym than the wyckoff location and no reply can change my mind or any of the other hard working people who were abused and robbed here. It’s a joke to the community and it’s a joke to the people trying to better their lives. Stay away from this gym.

I am canceling my Planet Fitness membership. I came to this facility and locked my belongings with the planet fitness lock that was purchased. Someone broke into my locker and stole all of my belongings. This is an apparent problem at this facility. A worker should be in the locker room at all given times if this a reoccurrence. This is absolutely unacceptable. Edit: Of course the response from planet fitness will be that they aren’t responsible for stolen or lost items. However, the facility should take all measurements to ensure their paying members feel safe. There was no manager on site during the time my items were stolen and only the managers can review the tapes. It appears that people prey on its members. This is unacceptable and I will no longer support this company.

Very spacious, it has all its machines and the workers are very friendly.

Had a terrible experience with cancelling my membership here. I tried cancelling multiple times in person and kept getting billed. They confirmed that it would be done, even giving me a paper with confirmation on it, but I was charged twice after. I asked to speak to the manager who said he could help me with permanent cancellation but needed to talk with "higher ups" regarding reversing the charges. He said to email him regarding the situation in the meantime to get the documentation. I never heard back and when I called the front desk about it they were extremely snarky with me. It's been months now and I never got my money back. They're leeches.

Worst gym, Overcrowded . its becoming a one machine gym so you go there and if you lucky you get a dumbbell or a bench to use , as you will never find anything else available. Smith machines people use it for hours and you will never have a chance to use it , same apply to lay benches always not available, Most of the other running or cyclic machine are not being utilized even for 10 %. So why management can do their job and get more of what people need to use !!!! ??? , i have been here for more than 3 years and every week is worse than the other. No air ventilation and smells bad all the time.
