I go to their store in ATL, so when I was craving tea on a cold day in NYC, I made a special trip out to Brooklyn just to get tea here. Staff was friendly and quick. Huge selection of teas. Love the tea lattes and multiple non-dairy milk options.

I really love this place and the ppl that make it tick. I love how involved they are with the community and it’s a great place to just sit and have some tea. They also have vegan cookies and at least one savory vegan option on their menu. Will list some of my favorite teas below •BLADDERWRACK is my #1, reminds me of fish tea (fish soup from 🇯🇲) and yes it’s salty. But it needs nothing else •CUCUMBER MELON GREEN smells amazing and it’s a good tea to take on vacay. Super hydrating which is good for hangovers •BURDOCK ROOT is very good for you. Tip I learned from some rastas: add a little pepper (cayenne is best) for a boost to your 420 high or a calm buzz to your regular day. Thank me later lol •BUTTERFLY PEA FLOWER is probably the one tea I cannot drink during the day. This is the perfect nighttime tea and is basically a superfood in tea form. •SUPERIOR GRADE MATCHA is truly an amazing blend. I love the latte there, but I def have this in the cupboard at home. Made it too strong the first time and had wayyyy to much energy, not to mention a speedy trip to the bathroom 🤣😅 •I recently took the HANGOVER HELPER with me on my trip and it’s amazing! It smells so good and has so much flavor. One thing I will say is I think it increases my appetite which is a good sign when your body is detoxing. Love this and will definitely buy again •almost forgot BETTER BODY OOLONG is my morning tea for busy days. Love how it carries me through the day feeling refreshed. They also have loyalty punch cards and maybe a digital loyalty program. One thing I miss from before covid is the tea samples. I really loved that. It put me on to so many teas including butterfly pea flower. Hope they bring it back now that we’re opening up. The pics are from over the years at brooklyn tea. I never got around to posting a review. Glad I still have them to share with you all ☺️

Great tea, the staff is great and the options for tea and mixes is vast, could be overwhelming but of course the staff is there to give great suggestions. The space is nice and quiet, a nice place to hang out for awhile and enjoy your tea. There is also a large selection of loose leaf blends you can get.

I am not a tea person (coffee lover here!). I want to love tea so I am making an effort. I bought a few packets of Brooklyn tea at a nail place (Studio by Nicki Spice). I loved the Vanilla Rooibos. I decided to go on the Brooklyn Tea site & I was pleasantly surprised by the variety they offer. I love that they explain the benefits of each tea & tell you how to prepare them. There’s also a rewards program that is easy to join. I went to the location on Nostrand & had a great experience. The staff was warm & helpful. Since this is my new Tea go-to spot, I hope I will start to love tea…

I visited a few weeks ago & I'm hooked. I have not had matcha anything before my visit here. I had the hot matcha latte with matcha waffles and the B.I.G. cookie. All so yummy, the environment is nice, clean, and welcoming. The employees were kind, helpful with ordering, and attentive. Also, I was there for an event which added to my great first time experience. Looking forward to visiting again!

I love Brooklyn Tea! I love it so much I buy loose tea to take home. My favorites are the lavender early grey, eucalyptus, and ginger & turmeric. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable too!

Very chill, local hangout with a relaxing vibe. If you want to mix the loose leaf teas to make your own fancy blend in a to-go cup, they let you. I'm a fan of Caramel Pu-erh mixed with Iron Goddess of Mercy. The staff is incredibly nice.

Met up with a girlfriend here for tea & talk. The space is beautiful and welcoming and the staff is equally as pleasant. I loved my time here and will definitely be back.

Made my way here as I was in Brooklyn checking out the Spike Lee exhibit at the Brooklyn Museum. We ended up each having a cup of tea and a quiche and "Biggie" cookie. The tea and pastries were enjoyable, but the vibe and atmosphere are what I enjoyed most.

We were greeted immediately by a very friendly staff. It was a little crowded right after we got our tea, but the staff was pleasant to everyone and very attentive! The Lavender Earl Grey was excellent both hot and cold, and I hope I can come back one day to buy some of their Black Rose tea. Their tea wall is so lovely and organized, and they have a small selection of tabletop games for customers to play while enjoying a pot of tea. Relaxing music, lighting was not too harsh, very cute egg timers. They were sweet to a couple kids who came in and asked about the tea, and were patient in explaining the teas to them. Overall, very nice and relaxing experience. Definitely rejuvenates you for a busy afternoon or a hectic evening!

Unfortunately I haven't visited this place because I am in Buffalo, but I've ordered their tea online and it is so dang good. I love the cream earl grey, and have also enjoyed the chocolate mint. If their tea blends are as good in-store/house as the what they deliver, you'd be lucky to visit their storefront!

Love the selections and everything about it. I ordered a few of the smallest packages to start and honestly I'm hooked. There was not one flavour that I could complain about and they've earned themselves a dedicated customer. I drink tea throughout the day and was able to brew the leaves over and still get the same potent taste. I'd recommend them to anyone!

Lovely place, lovely vibe, great music.... but LOTS of problems here. -The server was distracted, not as attentive as he could have been. -The counter stools are cute, but uncomfortable. Too hard, too high, and too small. -Not enough indoor seating. One table and one loveseat. Cute but not well-placed. They should probably lose the loveseat because the place is too small. -By the time my daughter was finishing with her meal -- which she really enjoyed -- mine still had not come out. I asked about it and they said it was coming....but 10 minutes later, they said there was a problem with the oven, so -- no breakfast. They offered me a free pastry. I choose a warmed cheese Danish. It was just OK. *** Most importantly: --There's a high platform dividing the small space, so you have to step up to get to the seating area -- but there is no colored safety strip alerting customers to watch the step, so I took a pretty bad tumble. The platform flooring is the same color as the rest of the floor, so it's not easy to see. I advised the woman at the counter, who witnessed my fall, that there should be a colored safety strip there. She didn't respond. The tea itself was great.... but not sure I'd go back here, as it currently operates.

I visited this place because I wanted a place to sit with my friend and have a meeting.. plus enjoy tea. The tea was okay… but they literally was out of most of the teas they had listed on their menu. If that’s your ONLY product you should be well stocked. . Chairs were uncomfortable. Cold metaI really did not enjoy the tea shop. The girls were really slow in getting an order together .. pleasant but slow.

I just had tea here with my friend and it was amazing. The people here go out of their way to deliver amazing service with beautiful smiles on their faces. Thanks Carla for coming over to our table to go over the menu with us, and big shout out to Ashleigh working behind the counter, making the awesome drinks. Cheers! Shay

I loved this cute little quaint tearoom. It was a very relaxing environment and the staff was excellent with great customer service. The smelling wall was wonderful it helped me find a delicious tea that was refreshing and soothing. The vegan waffles were outstanding. I loved everything about this place.

Stopped in 20mins before closing and the baristas were still so kind and welcoming. I got two iced teas unsweetened. One with hibiscus, cinnamon, clove and one mint and they were perfect and so refreshing.

I highly recommend Brooklyn Tea and its Lewis Street location. Adonis and Khy were very attentive to us as soon as we walked in! We were given a menu and were also able to sample the day’s teas in mini glass teacups to help us decide what we wanted! The aroma from the different tea leaves themselves helped us to make our decision and Adonis had lovely recommendations based on our tastes and took his time showing us different teas and mixtures. The space is super cozy, clean, and beautifully decorated. We could have stayed the whole day and talked while sipping our tea! There are also customizations on the menu and choice of sweeteners (sugar, honey, etc.), and there are pastries available (vegan options as well). We were very well taken care of and the tea was delicious! I highly recommend it!!!

Stumble across this tea shop while walking. They were playing soul music early on Sunday morning and were nice and offered drink suggestions based on my likes. I look forward to visiting again.

Love their teas- great quality! Very personalized experience with pleasant and attentive workers. You can smell the teas before buying. There are select pre-packaged 1oz packages to purchase for your convenience. Love this spot. My favorite teas are: Black Rose, Genmaicha, and French Blend. There are many I can't wait to try too.

Yesterday, on March 11th, I took my friend to Brooklyn Tea on our way to work and we were both very satisfied with the experience. Amber was very sweet and offered us a few samples, and she made the whole interaction very comfortable. My friend and I were impressed with our teas (I got the white peach flavor), and we also loved the decor. The first time I went, I had a very similar experience, but I cannot for the life of me remember the employee's name that first attended me. Regardless, the staff is always friendly!

I have been a loyal customer here since they opened this location on Nostrand Avenue. I was able to get exactly what I was looking for and always a little something extra for my family. The service is always great, the availability of products is always there and the teas always taste great.

I stalked them for months before the shop opened, at street festivals, and similar events. I’ve never had a bad cup here. You can bring your own containers when you buy loose tea. They’re exactly what I and the neighborhood needs, a reminder to sit back relax and enjoy the community.

Wow, this tea is delicious and truly one-of-a-kind. And the person working the desk was so sweet, they made conversation and helped me pick out a tea gift for someone! I will fill up my punchcard here :)

Hidden-ish gem offering an inviting array of tea and other beverages AND delicious, fresh eats and treats. Service, style, product and vibe are on point. Plus, I love their playlists and hip-hop & rap references (my firsts: the Shimmy Shimmy Ya and the Ruff Neck; try, you will not be disappointed). Thank you Brooklyn Tea; see you again soon!

Great customer service. Good food, I ordered the blueberry waffles and an iced cucumber melon tea. I also purchased loose tea as well.

My son and I learned about the different kinds of tea during his home school lesson and then came in to try their chocolate rooibos tea. He was very satisfied. I had the very berry and it was the perfect blend of tart and sweet. The agave matched perfectly with that blend. Also the 0z sizes bags are perfect. I got to take home the afro punk blend and Darjeeling. We sat in the back and I taught my son how to play chess. It was such a chill vibe in the I can't wait to go back.
