Avoid!! I’m a former fan of this place but have been stung by their hidden-charges schemes, which I’d heard of but until now have disregarded. Sneaky billing resulted in a $100.00 charge for testing that should have been free. The bill for this charge came a full four months after the visit!! Also, I was charged $50 for a follow-up visit to receive my results. Avoid avoid avoid. You have plenty of options in the neighborhood—seek these out, please.

We almost missed our flight due to all the misinformation around PCR COVID tests and the time needed to get results. MiDoctor came through for us with results within 30 minutes. They must have a lab on site. They took hours to get to us, but then treated us as a priority, even though there were lineups, angry patients and people trying to get in for every kind of health question. The staff were so patient. We recommend this clinic.

The staff is super friendly the moment I opened the door. The process to check in was fast and personalized. I was seen on no time. The doctor - Ellen.was amazing she took care of my issue well and answered all question. Very knowledgeable and comforting. I’m definitely a returning patient. I highly recommend Statcare 🙏🏽 Thank you guys you ROCk !! Update: on my follow up visit doctor- Brian was super dismissive and rude. Nurse was argumentative and interrogative. They never kept the patient privacy terms and shared false information with my provider that I didn’t claim or understand what was the purpose behind. It’s very poor quality place and I don’t advise anyone to go there. Yes first visit was received nicely but then was dealt with as a suspect or something for stupid spider bite or I dunno what it is. Watch out people they lack experience and professionalism and there is nothing private or confidential in their ethics. They definitely need to be out of business. I will never step back there again and I don’t advise anyone to. I am fair with both opinions and I do believe last impressions lasts forever because that’s the true experience. Also they will keep on sending you crazy amount of emails and texts reminding you of some survey and thanking of your visits 3 times a day and schedule imaginary virtual calls that never happened or informed about obviously to collect money out of your insurance. TRASH !

It's comforting to know there is an urgent care that is not only efficient, but also has a wonderful staff! I often end up in situations that require urgent or emergency care. I went in for my booster, and I had zero wait time. Great staff, and great clinic.

I had such an amazing experience at Statcare Urgent & walk-in Medical care!! They were so quick to check me in and get me into a room within minutes of arriving. Our physician Amy was so pleasant and listened to all my needs and questions. She made visiting the clinic very comfortable and she gave such exceptional service!

This place is right in the heart of Hell's Kitchen. I've been there several times and the staff has always been welcoming and friendly. I generally make an appointment online, and I have usually been seen on time or within a few minutes of my scheduled time. I've also been a walk-in, and have never had to wait more than 10 minutes. Great place to go when you don't need critical care.

MiDoctor was great!! Walked in to get my second covid booster shot, no appointment necessary. After checking in, I was ushered into an exam room after waiting maybe 3 minutes. The intake and service were efficient and cheerful. Highly recommend!!

Best urgent care experience I've ever had. Walked in around 2pm, gave info, and got called back within a couple of minutes. From the reception staff, to our nurse, Dr, and check out staff, everyone was so helpful, professional, and fast. My daughter had the stomach flu and was able to get meds and a note to excuse her absence from college classes within 15+/- minutes. With her insurance, copay was $20. Very satisfied with experience.

I have always had such a positive experience at this urgent care center. Most of my experience with them has been covid testing in the 2020 - 2022 years, but I have come in for other reasons as well and always felt that they were courteous, quick (even when very busy) and provided great care. I'm happy to have them around the corner.

I first learned of stat-care by an acquaintance last year who spoke highly of their fast turn around time for Covid PCR testing and follow up care. Not only was my friend right about this but Ive been pleasantly surprised that each time I’ve walked in to get tested or seen for any urgent matter I was able to be seen that day and often was able to speak with a doctor there on call in under 15 minutes. Stat care always follows up with test results via their app and/or a phone call usually within 48 hours of appt and often less time. Their front desk and physicians are always friendly and attentive. A couple days ago I stopped in to get seen by their OBGYN nurse on call knowing it would take weeks to be seen by the same department at one of the typical hospital physician offices. The nurse on call was very friendly and informative. She made sure to address all my questions and concerns and explained all the lab tests and even took the time to write out her recommendations for treatments/follow up care if any were needed. The nurse assistant, Amy was equally friendly and did the best she could to help answer my questions. My only criticism to the practice is 4 quick things- 1) there is only one location in Manhattan so if you live farther out of the city getting over by Times Square might be tough. Also they aren’t open as late as other urgent care clinics in the city 2) their phone line and scheduling appts on their app is a waste of time because you cannot schedule appts on the app or phone for their Manhattan location and it’s very difficult to reach an operator to even speak to someone from that location. 3) The follow up call is great but I do wish they would involve the patient more in this because often a call is not needed for a routine test such a PCR Covid test when results are negative for example. It would be nice if they asked patients post visit if they even want a follow up call and give options when to schedule rather than pre schedule. 4) lastly, I had my covid booster done here end of last year and noticed that I had had trouble adding the booster to my NY pass. I do wish they had a way of ensuring patients shots and boosters did indeed get linked properly to the ny pass app. Otherwise great practice and by far best urgent care practice in all the city.

A friend recommended My MD as it was not far from where l lived. It was a quick check in, and a short wait period. Vital signs were on point and the doctor arrived shortly after. I felt my time with her covered what l needed to be seen for. I left reassured that l was going to be OK.

Quick and easy. I've been having insurance and scheduling issues with my doctors lately. Ran out an important med this morning, scheduled an appointment before 9 AM, had my scripts filled before 3.

I saw a doctor within 5 minutes of entering the place. Everyone was very pleasant which seems to be unusual in health facilities and doctors offices lately. The doctor was extremely helpful and answered an abundance of questions. This will be my place from now on. Way better than emergency room.

I've gotten probably 15 COVID tests here over the course of the pandemic, and I could not recommend them more highly. The staff is kind, the service is ridiculously quick (especially relative to some other spots I've tried), and it's such a low-hassle, easy experience all around. I've never made an appointment in advance and have also never needed to wait more than 10 minutes at a time. (I steer clear of the immediate post-work rush, but I've gone at lots of different time of day and always found it completely manageable.) Huge, huge fan.

Got my booster and all was well -- was very crowded at the time and there was zero social distancing being enforced, but all were masked. The single star is for the $50 bill I received after the fact for the free booster, let alone the hundreds billed to my insurance. Why? Because someone called me 4 days after I received my booster to see how I was... and this company fraudulently billed my insurance for a visit (not even telehealth, but a straight up visit), for that phone call, and I was billed a $50 urgent care co-pay despite, a. never being told I would receive a call, b. never being told there would be anything billed to my insurance for a phone call, and c. definitely never being told that in order to price gauge in a health crisis, this company was going to pad their pockets at my expense. So keep this in mind and make sure that, if you need to use this place instead of one of the others that won't act criminally in the midst of a pandemic, you pin them down to exactly what they are doing, billing for, and charging you.

Had to get a rapid and pcr test done, so went in around 1pm on a Saturday. Only had to wait about 10 minutes as a walk-in. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Had my rapid test results in 15 min and pcr in 24 hours. Thanks to all the workers there!

A friend referred me to your office! After days of not being able to get a covid test. Upon my arrival the office staff were prompt very friendly . Atmosphere good everyone adhering to the rules. Wasnt there long.. Will definitely refer you to friends and family.

The staff and doctors at MiDoctor are wonderful. I have visited a number of times for covid testing and everyone has been helpful, patient, knowledgeable and kind even when covid conditions have been at their worse. During a time that’s so highly unpredictable and anxiety inducting, it’s really nice to know that I can rely on MiDoctor for good care.

Staff is professional, efficient, and kind. I’ve never had to wait too long to be seen by a doctor. I’ve gotten two PCR tests there and have received my results in less than 24 hours. Highly recommend.

I came here for a walk-in booster shot and the wait was barely 30min. I had the opportunity to sit and observe what was going on around me and was very, very impressed with the staff and how they handled the sudden influx of people who came in for COVID testing. They were calm, patient and explained to everyone the situation and potential wait times. Everyone seemed happy and satisfied (anxious too, naturally, because of COVID). But all in all, I was blown away! The lady who administered my booster shot was lovely and SO FAST (I hate needles) and also very helpfully explained that even though I picked Moderna as a booster (I had Pfizer previous two times), that was totally safe. If this location were closer to where I lived I’d come here for all my urgent care needs!

Always fast, barely any wait time and professional and friendly staff. Been there for many reasons not just for covid testing. Even for my toddler they took good care of her. When I went for my pcr, I received my results in less than 24hr like 18hr. 👍

Ok I am waiting for my COVID PCR results but I will give a 5 star review for the service I have received so far. I was able to quickly book an appointment for a same day visit for myself and my family due to travel testing requirements. Upon arrival we were able to enter after a few minutes and once inside waited about 30 min to be seen. While 30min seems like a lot, anyone living in NY knows the mad rush going on right now for COVID testing, almost everywhere has long lines and/or is completely booked. The staff members were polite and very efficient. The office and waiting areas we clean and well lit. I would use this urgent care for future services if needed.
