such an underrated park! definitely a gem of a place with great walkways along the water and a breathtaking view (especially at night!). not many people around so you can enjoy the views without a crowd. highly recommend checking out!

Love this park for its views! Always smells like weed though. Nice for a stroll if you go up on the overlook ramp thing since it’s less crowded and the views are nice from higher up. There are sometimes events like salsa dancing, at this park so you can check those out as well. The rainbow colored sprinklers for kids are a summer highlight.

Beautiful transformation of this area to a park. Limited street parking. Boardwalk, green grass, dog park, volleyball court, "beach chairs" and a playground for kids. Really beautiful place for a date or just to relax and watch the river, the 3 bridges and skyline of Manhattan.

This Park is just one of those places where I can't get enough. I love Domino park; there is always something to do with kids or without. The tacos bar is amazingggg!!! The Margaritas are on point—just a great place to go, relax, enjoy nice weather in NYC, take pictures and play sports. This Park is always clean, and everything is organized. Bring towels for little ones. Great place for kids to run and get wet in the water spots. The playground is enormous. Great place to have a Funday! I love the old sugar factory behind it, the colors used in the decor, the murals painted on the walls, and the views are great for photography lovers. The only recommendation is that the playground could use more shadows spots for children & for the benches while parents wait.

Nice water front park to sit and enjoy New York City skyline and views of several bridges connecting Manhattan. There are several chairs and tables in the park where you can sit and enjoy the views. Great place to relax and unwind.

Great water front park with views of Manhattan. It is amazing how this area has transformed in the last 15 years. You can still see the old sugar factory though, which makes for a beautiful backdrop.

Such a beautiful waterfront park in Williamsburg! My 5 year old loves visiting and exploring the tall jungle gym here!! His grandparents all loved walking along the water and enjoying the view of Manhattan. There is even an elevated walkway to get above it all and see even better views! We will definitely go back again!

Domino Park's urban transformation is truly commendable, seamlessly blending the remnants of its manufacturing history with modern design to create a vibrant public space. The incorporation of old manufacturing elements into the park's design adds a unique charm and sense of nostalgia, inviting visitors to explore the area's past while enjoying contemporary amenities. One of the standout features of Domino Park is the addition of a volleyball beach, offering a dynamic recreational space for beach sports enthusiasts. This beach area adds an active and social dimension to the park, allowing visitors to engage in friendly matches and enjoy the outdoors in a unique way. Moreover, the park's playground is another highlight, providing a space for children to play and families to gather. The design of the playground likely reflects the same creative approach as the rest of the park, making it an enjoyable and imaginative area for kids. While Domino Park's transformation is impressive, it's important to acknowledge that there are areas that require improvement, as noted in a video review. The accessibility concern for individuals with strollers or using wheelchairs is a valid point that should be addressed. By incorporating more ramps and accessible pathways, the park can truly become an inclusive and welcoming space for everyone. In conclusion, Domino Park's evolution from manufacturing property to a multi-faceted public space is a triumph of urban design. The integration of historical elements, the addition of a volleyball beach, and the presence of a well-designed playground all contribute to its appeal. While there's room for improvement, particularly regarding accessibility, the park stands as a testament to the potential of transforming industrial spaces into vibrant community assets.

Great waterfront park built in front of the old Domino Sugar Factory. Come for great views of the river and Manhattan, as well as a pretty incredible playground and elevated walkway up against former cranes. You can also get food from Tacocina (located within the park).

Gets very busy but is still such a cool clean spot to hang out. Great place for tourists to cool off with the breeze and take in skyline views from across the water. Area was surprisingly clean and modern with bathrooms available as well. I like that they weren’t allowing cars on the street running adjacent to the park.

Beautiful day or night. The views of the Manhattan skyline across the river…. Lots of seating to lounge or grass to spread a blanket and relax. A nice stroll along the river for lovers. Lots of play areas for kids and areas for dogs. There’s a small adjoining park where you can sit very close to the water. Another Brooklyn gem ❤️❤️❤️

I love coming to sit here in the spring or summertime. The view is beautiful and it's lovely to people watch. I used to come here years before this park was built ehen there only used to be the small light house on the side. Its now so beautiful with an actual park to sit in.

Fantastic park to dwell, sip a coffee in the morning or come in the afternoon to have a beer at Other Half Brewing right next to the park. Plus a free perfect view towards South Manhattan, especially at night. One of my favorite spots in Williamsburg.

Excellent use of design for an outdoor park situated next to the water and the bridge. There is space for jogging, a playground for kids, benches for relaxing and enjoying the water views, people sunbathing on the lawn, picnicking, walking, running, and eating at the Tacocina Restaurant onsite, which features tables with barstools for grabbing a mexican quick bite with a beer or a margarita. There's also a dog park. Natural luscious landscaping is part of the design, making this park a comfortable area to enjoy relaxation surrounded by nature. A beautiful mural is painted behind the Tacocina Restaurant. This outdoor space is a must visit.

Pretty new-ish park by the East River. It’s sponsored by the real estate company that built the condos next door and has a nice mix of sports, food and children facilities. Great view of Manhattan and a nice replacement to the Smorgasburg park while it gets renovated.

I saw this park when I was on the ferry with my nieces. It is such a fun looking park. I had to get off and take a look. My nieces had a good time and there are nice parks around. I do not think I have ever seen a park like this and I liked it.

I recently visited Domino Park after a long time, and it was relaxing to sit back and watch the ferries pass by on a beautiful sunny day. The park was quite crowded due to the perfect weather. While dogs are not allowed on the lawn, which may be disappointing for some pet owners, the park does feature some unique playground equipment that sets it apart from others in the area for families with kids. However, there are some areas where the park could be improved. For example, there is no restroom specifically designated for the playground area, which would be more practical. Additionally, the park could benefit from additional shaded areas and seating options. A reliable internet connection would also be beneficial, as many visitors use their devices in the park. Finally, the installation of portable toilets would offer a convenient and easily accessible option for all park-goers. Overall, Domino Park is still a must-visit. However, with a few improvements, it could be even better.

Great views and a really nice playground for kids. The splash pad is also really nice and has great drainage so it’s cleaner overall than most splash pads. His is a really nicely maintained waterfront park and very close to good food and activities. Highly recommend for kids, for walking or just relaxing and soaking in some sun.

Domino Park is like, the bomb! It's got these awesome views right by the water – like, Instagram-worthy stuff. Plus, there are local shops and cafes to grab some goodies. Loads of space to walk around, and the views are like, seriously great. If you've got kiddos, the playground is amazing – like, they'll have a blast. And guess what? There's this high rise thing where you can get even better views of NYC – it's like being on top of the world. So yeah, Domino Park is pretty awesome if you want cool vibes and great views.

The view from Domino Park is impressive. It's proximity to the water makes it magical for people to go exercise, have a picnic, it's an ideal place to spend some time and rest. It has a section for dogs and another one for kids to play.

Whoever built the kids playground section out of metal didn't consider how darn hot metal gets in May/June or summer months and how any self aware child would avoid a hot metal object as would their parents. Otherwise the water fountain that responds to kids and adults and surface to sit is cool. Lounges I forgot to see, love the dog sculpture made out of kibbles and bits under the bridge. Such a great view of NYC and waterway. So glad we are open after covid. Just glad to see people and families out and about enjoying life.

Love this spot. Great for sunbathers, dogs, kids, people who love Mexican food, volleyball with sand, bocce ball lanes, giant beach chairs and beautiful views of manhattan across the river. You can see the Statue of Liberty in the distance and the three bridges Manhattan, Williamsburg, and Brooklyn.

I recently visited Domino Park and I have to say it was an amazing experience. The park is incredibly well-designed, with a variety of spaces to relax and take in the stunning waterfront views. The colorful murals and art installations add to the vibrancy of the park and make for great photo opportunities. The playground area is perfect for kids, with plenty of equipment to climb, slide, and swing on. I was also impressed with the number of seating options available, from benches to picnic tables to Adirondack chairs. And of course, the iconic Domino Sugar Factory sign is a must-see. Overall, I highly recommend Domino Park to anyone looking for a fun and relaxing day out in Brooklyn.

A refreshingly unique playground built on the site of an old sugar factory. The play structure has lots of slides and climbing areas, lots of food options, restrooms, and even cocktails for the parents. It's next to the water and you can see ships go by. There are many other features here we didn't get to see, but definitely recommended.

I lived in this area in my young twenties and just came back for a visit after that many years. It used to be an ugly fenced in area next to a small waterfront access area. The area has obviously changed quite a bit over time (and definitely lost some of its edge), but what a great job they did with this park. It's a super interactive experience that feels clean and artsy, but also an homage to the area's former life. Was great to see so many people enjoying the space and the views are absolutely fantastic. If you have kids, there's a really fun playground. They'll definitely enjoy it.

I love Domino Park! The view is just awesome. The park has many walkways and benches, they even have an area with grass where you can sit. There is a playground for the kids, a section with sprinklers and a volley ball court as well. If you wanna relax with a beautiful view - visit Domino Park. If you drive there, be prepared to search for parking, not easy at all in this area.

BROOKLYN LADIES WHO WALKABOUT: The other day my walking partner Renée and I journied to the Williamsburg part of Brooklyn. As we approached the Domino Park a little past the Williamsburg Bridge, we veered off to take in the sights of the Manhattan Skyline. "Williamsburg is a hip neighborhood in Brooklyn that draws the young and the fashionable to its chic boutiques, trendy cafes and buzzy restaurants. Street art brightens residential thoroughfares and repurposed factories, while the waterfront provides stunning views of Manhattan and seasonal venues for outdoor concerts and food markets. Dance clubs, happening bars and music halls liven up the nightlife scene." "Domino Park is a 6-acre public park in the Williamsburg neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York City. It spans a quarter mile along the East River near the Williamsburg Bridge, at the Domino Sugar Refinery site. Along the five-block riverside walk, various salvaged factory equipment is displayed, including four syrup collection tanks, that pay tribute to the history of the Domino Sugar Refinery.." The Domino Sugar Refinery shutdown in 2004. It was a beautiful day for a stroll through this historical scenic area. We thoroughly enjoyed the Domino Park so much, that we didn't get to fully check out the whole of the Williamsburg neighborhood. However, we are excited to go back to walkabout another day. I hope you enjoy our venture and the sights as much as we did.....❤😎🏃🏾‍♀️🏃🏾‍♀️🌞😘

One of the newest parks in the city. Still not completely finished, but it's amazing. The views are great, really good restaurants all around and the best playground for kids.

Beautiful park, great views. We came here after eating at Misi. Views of the city are beautiful. I read that there’s a dog run, but they’re not allowed on the grass below. That’s actually kind of nice because I saw a lot of people sunbathing. There’s lots of dogs walking, people exercising and sunbathing. children playing, and babies in strollers. There’s lavender for bees to pollinate. Great initiative, just be cautious if you are allergic. There’s plenty of chairs, tables, and lounge chairs. Highly recommend a quick spot. If I lived here, I would picnic here.

The showpiece of Williamsburg, a great example of the revitalization of the Hudson waterfront, a designated place for recreation (for playing beach volleyball), jogging, as well as for walking and relaxing for the whole family. Interestingly exposed and integrated into the park coastal cranes (in nice aquamarine color). Great views especially in the evening of Manhattan and the Williamsburg bridge :)

This is a beautiful space. It's not very large but nicely laid out. The views are phenomenal they have patches of grass where you can lay down on a blanket, a playground for kids, a volleyball court with real sand, a dog park, many park benches and wide open spaces to take a walk on. It's set up for an enjoyable outing.
