Usually crowd-free unless you got to be in a festival or celebration gathering here. Spacious unlike other piers in the Hudson river park area. Enjoy the view from the southern most part close to the river.

Pier 76, we LOVE NYC! We live in Nassau County but we always travel to the city to explore like if we never been there, from trying new restaurants to hole in the wall dessert areas. NYC is like no place in the world. First time on the pier and it was super dope! Check out pictures.

Big space available. It’s located at Hudson river so you will have an amazing view of river plus New York city and New Jersey side. It’s best place for skateboarding, cycling, roller skating and biking. It’s good for training for skateboarding as well as it’s big space.

I came here to inline skate and I was not disappointed. The asphalt surface was smooth and I enjoyed myself near the end of the pier. Even though they have many tennis courts and ping pong tables, I didn't go there for that, maybe next time.

This place still needs more work, it gets really hot because of the black asphalt surface and no trees or anything that can stop the sun rays, even the concrete benches should be replaced because they also get too hot to seat on them, it needs bathrooms and drinkable water. The place is big, it has potential for a better design. The surface is kind of smooth but no skaters, bikers are allowed, which is great.

Newly opened Pier 76 is a concrete that has vast open space. There is not much here and that’s the point! Just concrete benches and lots of clean spacious asphalt to practice skateboarding and rollerblading. Or just enjoy the waterfront views and read a book. Pier 76 is an oasis for the concrete jungle.

Great open space with a smooth surface which is great for skateboarders and rollerbladers. It would be nice if there was more green space so it did feel like an asphalt jungle. Food trucks may be a great idea too.

Jose led the Meetup@ the Bower Skate Park. Taught me a few tricks, and now I know how to ollie on a longboard! The park is not too busy, and it has plenty of room to practice your skills. Even though I'm 64 years old, I am still learning how to perfect my skateboard routine.

Very cool space with amazing views and interesting information about the history of the pier and the Manhattan waterfront. Very quiet and chill with no one to bother you. Very possibly the quietest spot in midtown!

Wonderful new pier part of the Hudson River Park. Enjoyed the free Blues BBQ festival yesterday. Perfect weather for it. Fascinating history when the pier was operated by the United States Lines and the SS United States ocean liner, the fastest ocean liner to cross the Atlantic in either direction at the highest average speed.

I have visited this pier mid-winter without preliminary online research. The pier was empty and my initial impression was as if construction workers just left for lunch and could be back any moment. Definite feel of interim state between the past and future. As with many other midtown piers, photo opportunities abound.

Big and beautiful space! The views were great. My company rented the space for an event, our contact Andrew was wonderful and John from landscaping was the best host and made sure we had everything we needed. He went above and beyond for sure.

I had a wonderful afternoon at the Blue BBQ Festival provided by the Hudson River Park. The music was excellent. The musicians gave us their all and the audience received it with joy. I could not ask for a better day out in New York City.

Here for MS walk 2022. Not sure how much this location cost to rent but it's a great location to have an event! Great views across the Hudson River into Jersey.

Great space to lounge or skate . Recently attended an event at this location and it definitely works . Only thing needed is more plants or shade nets , the sun exposes the location.

I enjoyed all the different musicians , everyone was dancing having a great time. My only complaint, all the lines to the BBQ spots were super long, there were stands with drinks as well. Hope to be there next year

A BIG public open space under a roof. Great place for skateboarding, roller skating, riding a bike etc. Mostly even asphalt surface with a small amount of green spaces, like trees, grass or plants.

Very interesting plaques about the history of the piers, but needs a shaded area and drinking fountain for hot days

Big space available there! A monument of a historical propeller is exposed.

Great, much needed addition to the westside and the neighborhood. The best part of this open space is that it is not trying to hard. It is simply a large open space on the river, not very green but enjoyable and spacious. You can find your own little area here, much needed in this crowded city.
