Dim Sum Go Go has expanded into the East Village with roots from their original location in Manhattan Chinatown for over 20 years. This Michelin Bib dim sum parlor serves steaming hot made-to-order dumplings. Here in the East Village, it’s more of a casual and relaxing vibe much different than Chinatown. That same XO sauce is still made in-house along with a variety of handcrafted dim sums. For vegetarian folks, they have authentic vegetarian dim sums as well. Their delicious steamed roasted pork buns are perfectly sized and fluffiness. Springs rolls and turnip cake is not too oily and taste delicious.

I have tried a few dim sum places and so far this is my favourite. It gets busy quick (went on a Sunday around noon) tables are pretty close together compared to other places, however, I found the selection and taste overall the best. They have relatively quick service, a good selection of both meat and vegetarian options, and if you ask for vinegar, mustard, hot sauce etc they quickly bring it to you. Will definitely go back when I am craving dim sum again! Oh, and just a quick walk from the train station!

One of the best Dimsum place in New York City, located in Chinatown area. They sells lot of various dimsum such as Siomay, Hakau, Cheo Cang Fun, Gao Zi, Pork/Chicken Bun, Spring Rolls, etc. Very good services, good portions, and also affordable price. I did my New Year's Eve dinner in here too on Dec 31st, 2023.

A pleasant surprise. It was extremely busy but they managed. I enjoyed the dimsum very much today. Delicous authentic options. However, make sure you get everything you ordered. We had to adjust the bill since they charged us for 7 items we didn’t receive.

Yall this place's atmosphere is bizzare, kinda like a dimsum place meant for those who have never had dimsum before. The food is fine / on par with nearby dimsum restaurants but I really can't recommend for my Asian peeps, this place only had white customers. Shrimp rice rolls were fine. Turnip cake did not taste fresh.

We loved how easy it is to order thanks to the paper menus where you check the items you want in your next round. We found it convenient and also easy because honeslty, sometimes I want to be a bit adventurous, but I am not familiar with every item in a dimsum place... being able to take my time, read descriptions, look up pictures and then choose what I wanted to try for the next round was more fun than the traditional style of ordering everything verbally with a waiter at once. The dumplings came out fast, steamy and super delicious, my favorite were the rice wraps, the sauce was to die for,the texture so funky, I ordered seconds! Also got seconds of the sesame balls, omg... warm and sticky... i wanna go back for more!

Dim Sum Go Go has a long history of making authentic dim sum in lower Manhattan. I particularly appreciated their vegetarian friendly options - from Fried Stuffed Eggplant 酿茄子, Bamboo Heart Dumplings, to Three Start Dumplings, Snow Pea Leaf Dumplings, Mushroom Dumplings, and Abbot's Dumplings. The Fresh Mango Pudding 芒果凍布甸 at the end was perfect to wrap up the night.

Good Dim sum, the dipping sauces are different but pleasant. The vinegar sauce made everything tatse lighter and sweeter than with soy and chili oil. The portion sizes seemed a little small but when your from Texas everything seems a little smaller when you leave, lol.

The steamed dumplings (dim sum) were simply incredible - we had the Jade, chicken and duck. The jade stood out as our favorite paired with the scallion ginger sauce. We also tried the Potsticker with honey glazed pork ham and the Pork bun which was a sweet bun with pork inside. Natural, fresh ingredients that popped. The sauces were not artificial and added to the freshness of each bite. Will definitely return!

What a find (thanks Michelin)! Web site is very useful as it has a photo of every dish. When we were seated jasmine tea and iced water were waiting for us, which was a nice touch. First class Dim Sum, fresh and really tasty. We particularly enjoyed the seafood and meat and vegetable platters. Presentation and service were superb. Can’t recommend this restaurant enough👌🏼

The dim sum was OK. Some were better than others. I like our usual place much better but we had an incentive so we decided to give this place a try. It’s quieter and the tables are more spread out so that was good. The wait staff are indifferent. The host did his best to seat everyone and was very nice.

Small portions are the reason why I wouldn't come back. For the relatively higher price point, the sticky rice ($5.25) and siu mai (4 for $6.75?!) wasn't worth it. The siu mai are the size you buy frozen at the market (small). The northern pan fried dumpling had 1.5 bites of filling and we reached the end... with plenty of skin left. Not a big fan of dense dumpling skin esp when the filling is so sparse. See pics. Our fourth dish was the baked pork bun that never came out because they had apparently ran out. That's fine but no one told us. We finished our three other dishes, waited 10 minutes then asked about the missing buns. Okay you're out so I guess we'll take the check and go to may wah... 🙃

The dumplings here were okay. Some were better than others but just okay is all I can come up with. In addition, we were randomly served tea although we had not ordered any. At first, I presume this must be complementary but lo and behold it was included on our check. Maybe on another day with a different server things are would be better however three stars is all I can muster.

We had a tabe next to the front window so we could pepole watch while enjoying the food it was over the topamd all the traditional dishes are served. Don't miss this joint amd trust me you won't be disappointed. Very attentive service and dishes came fast and hot.

The complimentary green ginger sauce is amazing. Maybe it's more common than I realize? In the past I've only encountered similar sauces as part of Hainanese chicken dishes. Every dish I had was good: roast duck dumplings, pork soup dumplings, rice rolls with shrimp, scallion pancakes, mushroom dumplings, malaysian rolls. No complaints, other than maybe the scallion pancakes seemed oily.

5 star delicious dim sum and food 4 stars for slow / missed service food Please hire at least 2 more staff members for your weekends A few tables including our table had missing orders, orders brought to our table that was not our order, or waiting for the attention of staff to order more items.......... 2 more staff members should fix this issue lol..... Also when the check comes.. its all written in chinese... so it's impossible to know if I was charged for something extra or something I did not receive. I ordered a dish that I realized after I left.. I never got. 1 star off for messy service

Service was great and food was delicious! We both ordered the Meat and Vegetable Dim Sum Platter which we highly recommend if you’re indecisive and looking for something tasty.

Great, fresh dumplings. Funny, friendly service. Cool efficient cantina vibe. The mixed dumplings platter was great, loved the soup dumplings. Highlight was the ginger beef with an order of chinese broccoli, but everything was ace.

Dim Sum Go Go is a Michelin Bib Gourmand rated restaurant. The food was excellent and fully matched my expectations. The only minor disappointment was that they offered only one type of tea—jasmine. Nonetheless, I was very satisfied with the meal and have it on my permanent go-to list.

Their vegetarian selection is quite impressive. What's almost more impressive is their level of service and accuracy. We came with a group of 17 people all with dietary restrictions and not only did the staff accommodate us bit they remembered what we could/couldn't eat. A neighborhood staple!

This is a wonderful place to go with a group and order dumplings. The green beans are delicious too … Second floor is the best to see Chinatown from a little height, but carpet and bathrooms need updating and the reason for 4-star rating.

OMG! Food was amazing. Staff went above and beyond. A friend had a bad knee and one of the waiters assisted him down stairs to restroom and went back to help him up. I wish I would have gotten his name.

We went here as part of our food tour. It was very good and the staff was accommodating to those who had special dietary requirements. Everything we tried was not only tasty, but looked great!

Exquisite excellence describes our experience perfectly. 5 stars only because I can't give them six! The service was impeccable and each dish was a delight. It was nonstop noshing as we sampled each offering. Even the tea was outstanding! I was too caught up in the joy of dining here to take pictures. Next time!

Great dim sum. Everything was delicious and came out very quickly. The service is good. Only downside is that the bathroom could be a little cleaner and more organized. But food wise it was wonderful.

Quick service and beautiful dim sums at a reasonable price point. Love the assortment platters. We ordered both the vegetarian as well as meat platters and both shone in their own ways. I’ve never had veggie dim sum this flavorful and well thought out. Each one had a beautifully layered flavor profile that isn’t boring or one dimensional. The staff was also kind in letting us have our reservation despite 2 ppl not showing up. We came on a Thursday night and the space was not too busy despite being in Chinatown. We were well attended to and walked away feeling very satisfied about the experience!

Delicious dumplings and soups! There was a line outside that moved fairly quickly, managed by an attentive host. Easy to order menu. Casual dining. Great for brunch and fair price.
