Came here for an early dinner with a large group, and shared the Papaya salad, duck entree, kha soi, pad thai, pad si ew, and pad kra pow. Ambiance & service is great, and the food was really good too. Papaya salad: 8.5/10 - very fresh with the perfect amount of sour. The toasted nuts were a great touch, and I found that the overall texture combination of the ingredients played well together. Kha soi: 8.5/10 - the soup was rich in flavour, with a combination of sour and sweet. I thought the noodles could be a little more chewy, but still one of the better khao soi dishes i’ve had. Green curry: 7/10 - while the flavour of the herbs were very much alive, it was spicier than anticipated and almost a little bitter in some ways. If you are a big green curry fan I do recommend you try it, but if you aren’t, i would opt for other dishes. Duck entree (i forget the name): 8/10 - the basil-y sauce was so good and the duck was well cooked, but i have also tasted juicier, more tender duck in other thai restaurants. I thought it lost some of its outer skin crispiness from the sauce, but otherwise a great dish. Pad thai: 8/10 - was on the saucier side of pad thai I have had before. Could also have more shrimp. If you like pad thai with a richer flavour, this will be good for you! Pad si ew: 8.5/10 - the noodles were well textured and the sauce was perfect—not too sweet yet hits the spot. Pad kra pow: 7.5/10 - i thought the rice could be a little crispier, and more flavourful. Keep in mind, these reviews may be biased as I have a personal preference for one thai dish over the other. That being said, overall, this restaurant was great & the food was impressive.

One of the finest thai place in the heart of New York City at park avenue. The ambience is so beautiful. The taste is authentic and complete worthy of what you’re paying. The staff is attentive and friendly, they make sure what you need will be served. To start with I ordered cocktail called Southwest Sweet Tea and it was nice. With appetizers we ordered papaya salad, crispy veg roll and shrimp Tom yum soup. For the main course we ordered green tofu curry and pad Thai chicken noodles. The green curry was delicious and highly recommended. Well cooked. I am definitely going to visit next time to try different curries and vegetarian pad Thai noodles. Since I am a vegetarian, I can’t really tell how the taste of the non-veg food, but I can surely tell from the experience my friend shared and they were happy with the taste too. Looking forward to visit again. All the best. Keep serving the delicious food.

Food and service: although the dishes are a little more expensive than average, they are pretty abundant. I had the opportunity to taste the pad thai with duck. It is a dish that does not require much preparation, but the duck was just right and quite tasty. Atmosphere: pleasant atmosphere, attentive waiters, and decoration with some elements of Thai culture. Return probability: 80%.

Food was decent but the high prices are not warranted. The place is vast but was completely empty during lunchtime which does set an awkward vibe when it’s just your party and the waiter. When we sat, we were asked if we wanted sparkling water. The waitress did not tell us the cost. This was $9 added to our bill which we only found out when the bill came. Would’ve been nice if they were forthcoming about these sorts of things. I think their menu is overpriced and I would not return as I can find similar food elsewhere with better vibes.

The food tasted so good. We really liked the service. The servers were very nice and polite. Plus one for the ambience and the water fountains that emitted serene sound while you eat dinner. I would def come back.

Nice atmosphere and decent Thai in a convenient location, it’s a good spot to meet up with friends. We shared a plate of mixed appetizers and curry. I’d probably do something different in terms of appetizers next time - not my fave - but the green curry was nice, though could’ve been spicier.

Been here couple of times now. And it was worth it for sure. We tried few different dishes red curry, drunken noodles were to the point and amazing. But their khow-soy was the showstopper for me. Simply loved it. Would definitely visit again. Cocktails were good too so overall it was a great dinner.

Sabai Thai is a wonderful thai experience in NY. They have a great menu of various Thai dishes our favourites were the Panang Curry and the Pad Thai. The appetizers and the Thai ice tea is also great. The place has lovely outdoor seating with a wonderful decor. This spot is perfect for dates and one on ones. I strongly recommend this place!

Really great Thai restaurant. Service was on point and all the tables were filled on a Friday night! The food was light and super tasty. We got the Calamari, Mango Salad, and the Tom Yum Soup to start which was all great. I enjoyed my Duck Curry for my entrée as well! Dessert we got the Chocolate Roti which was a perfect portion and really satisfied my sweet tooth. Great restaurant.

Wonderful place for a calm date night in the city. Came here to celebrate my anniversary as we love Thai food. Had a wonderful selection of food and everything tasted delicious. Service was above and beyond as they gave us a little card for our anniversary. Thai sea bass was cooked wonderfully and had a nice kick thanks to the Thai chilis. Would definitely come back here. Drinks were also a solid choice.

The food is of quality and very authentic. The atmosphere feels upscale and still traditional. I loved the employee uniforms. It really brought the whole concept together. I recommend the lunch special for affordability and value.

Sabai Thai is little hidden gem! I needed a small plate to get me through to dinner and I stopped into this place. Glad I did! I had a calamari and spring rolls. I was even able to substitute the chicken wings for more calamari. I also had a mango “mock-tail” and It was delightful! This place has a beautiful decor, nice staff, and a pleasant ambiance. The dish was tasteful and the mango “mock-tale” was absolutely mouthwatering!! Highly recommend!!

Service and ambiance were great. Food was mediocre. I got a khao soi. It had raw green beans, and cucumber. It didn’t have onions. I would’ve enjoyed a more traditional approach.

Lovely dinning! The food is great and very filling. The staff are pretty awesome. I will say the price is high since the food is not much variant to other Thai restaurants but they the way the ingredients are made are presented differs. If you just want Thai food I will say the menu items is slightly limited. However the food itself is great, garnished, and well presented.

A pleasant family dinner experience with beautiful Thai decor. Located in midtown on Park avenue so road side parking is difficult. Service was courteous and made all the flavorful vegetarian dishes without fish sauce. Recommendations: Poh Apia Tod (spring rolls) and Gan Panang

A memorable and pleasant dinner experience I've had in a while. Service was courteous and thoughtful. Our dinner highlights started with the curry puffs and ended with the mango sticky rice. The main dishes were fragrant and had a deep punch in flavor. Definite recommend!

My friends and I reserved a table here in advance for a birthday celebration. Our table wasn’t ready at the time requested but they did have plenty of seats at the bar which offered a variety of specialty cocktails. The cocktails offered at this restaurant was the highlight of the night. The drinks although weren’t that strong in my opinion. They could have added a bit more alcohol 😜😜. The food was good. The curry puffs, the Tom Yum with the shrimp was delicious. I had the sea bass as the main course which was a little too salty for my taste. My husband ordered the massaman curry with roti. The food here was good but I feel like I’ve had better Thai elsewhere. The ambiance of the restaurant is cozy and romantic which I really liked.

It is a nice little Thai restaurant in NYC. We are vegetarians, so they custom made the dishes for us. The service was very prompt and courteous. The prices are a bit way more for some items. Like the massaman curry was $25. It is waaay more than any other Thai restaurant. Otherwise it is good.

I was here for dinner with my friends the other night. The restaurant was pretty much more than half empty, but the hostess told us we cannot sit because they have to assure good service to everyone. My reservation was at 7:30PM and we finally got our table at 8:00PM. Maybe they were short staffed? The food that we ordered were fine, but it definitely did not justify the price that they were charging. The moment we stopped eating, one of the servers came to our table right away and asked us to pay immediately.

One of my favorite Thai spots - their vegetarian options are great! They have two vegetarian appetizers that are the BEST. Loved the massaman curry as well. Ambiance great for date night or intimate dinner with friends.
