If only I could leave 0 stars… I have never had a worse experience at a doctors office in my lifetime… I went in because I had Covid and recently got over it but have gotten pretty sick again and explained to the doctor that I have bad health related anxiety. He went on to berate me for coming to get seen if I have health anxiety??? Continued to cut me off and then acted like I was a joke for coming in to be seen. Doctors are suppose to create a comfortable environment and I have never felt so uncomfortable in this type of setting before. Do not go here it is atrocious.

Waited in the waiting area 1 hour before being seen while I watched everyone who came in before and after me be seen and leave. When I asked the front desk receptionist why it was that I had to wait so long she responded “it’s cuz your scribe was busy doing something but now she’s free, you SHOULD be next”. After being seen by the scribe she told me it was because the front desk potentially processed me late. This location is an absolute joke and Samantha Barry the physician assistant who’s regularly there gives the absolute worst service. Whenever I go to any other location I get processed quickly and my test results come way quicker. Avoid this place would rate them 0 stars if I could.

If zero Stars was an option...from the moment you walk in, there is two or three of the workers that always show the same aggressive unfriend behavior. As if you're bothering them. They always look annoyed and response with a hostel tone. Although at times I know it's hard to stay in character, but their professionalism is quickly removed. The behavior comes off intimidating. When one is sick one should be treated as so and helped. Not disrespected on a walk-in. The security guard is more concerned what ladies are in the lobby and getting their attention. He spends more time outside hanging out with the street vendors in the front, how professional. The reason I stopped by is because it's convenient and nearby where I'm at. If I was giving another option, would gladly accept. Fortunate for those who are in need, once you get past the lobby....you're in good hands.

Several days after being evaluated by medical provider in that clinic, patient got a little better but not well enough to be able to go back there. He called the clinic and asked for a call back. The operator, he originally spoke with, promised that one of the clinic’s doctors will call him back within 2 hours. It did not happen. Later on, after several attempts to reach someone, the operator finally answered the phone. She, the operator, contacted Dr Erica Harris who refused to speak to the patient or do anything unless he comes back to the clinic. What a shame! The only good experience was the rapport with the front desk person who was nice, sensitive and tried to help.

My wife just had a really bad experience here. CityMD seems to prey on the urgency factor. Part of a larger issue with the healthcare system, but CityMD seems to be more of a villain than a helpless participant. She had a $50 copay, didn't even see a doctor, and really didn't come out of there with any helpful information regarding her next steps for treating her ailment. She had to get X-Rays and is still not convinced they took images of the site of the injury. They concluded no bones were broken but then asked her, "Do you think we should wrap it?" The medical "professionals" posed that question to my wife, the patient. Not sure what other urgent care options there are in NYC, but God I hope there are others.

Amazing customer service! Immediately greeted when I walked in the door. Helped walk me through the process and get my account set up. Wait time was very short! Less than 10 minutes! Got my eye & eyebrow checked out extremely quickly & smoothly. The entire thing was about 30 minutes. Would gladly go again if I need to!

Went on the 11th (sharing the date as unfortunately I don’t have the names of the 2 ladies and gentleman working ) and had to take my 2 year old . The admin in the front were AMAZING ! Literally so patient , kind , warm and welcoming yet fast . I couldn’t find my card due to rushing out the house and they directed me on how to contact the insurance company and sure enough I got the insurance information . They were really fantastic and they need a raise and to train others because that is how customer service / front desk SHOULD BE !!!

Always a great clinic. I'm seen very quickly and they're often able to provide quick and full service within my insurance. Its much easier than scheduling things with my PCP

I really appreciate having a City MD in the community when in need of a doctor's immediate attention/diagnosis, without the long wait of an appointment. The process of seeing a doctor is usually within an hour, not a long wait. In my experience the staff have always been courteous.

I went there to have a work injury looked at and was looked at by the doctor for no more than 1 minute total, who then told me I could go back to work without an restrictions. Mind you I have a very physical job and I made this clear. Later that day I went to my primary doctor who recommended I take a week off of work so that my injury dosnt worsen and become an even bigger problem, and me doctor informed me that if I did return to work my condition would only get worse and worse. My doctor took the time to look at me and do his job in order to decide what the best course of action was for my health, whereas the experience at CityMD made me never want to go there again because of the danger they could have put me in if I listened to their recommendation. Comparing 0 days of recovery to at least 7 is a big difference and think there was just a lack of care and urgency to find the best thing for me and my health. Although I’m disappointed in my care the employees at the front desk were nothing but pleasant to talk to.

The worst Urgent care. I’m almost convinced there are no real doctors at this location. Each and every time I go there, the “doctor” is always assuming my pain or complaint is nothing to worry about. How do you tell a patient that, whose complaint of back pain, wheezing cough, vomiting. They don’t know how to diagnose any complaint. It’s always your vitals are normal everything should be ok. Just BS. I would not recommend this location. You better off going to the ER.

Quick and easy place to go for routine issues. Have been twice and both times I was in and out within 45 minutes even when I needed testing and x-rays. The staff are all incredibly friendly too!

Would give zero stars as well if possible. Staff have attitude and wait times on the phone are excessive. Total lies about time frame to receive results of laboratory and no follow up care. They also lie consistently about the wait times to see physicians (they provided estimates that are far longer than it actually takes to see a physician.)

Very nice place everyone is very helpful and understanding except when it came time to see the doctor have chronic bronchitis/pneumonia I've had this for almost all my life I tried to explain to the doctor what I usually take for this and what helps me she basically told me she doesn't want to hear it she is the doctor I thought that was very inappropriate although I was glad to be seen I still need to go back to my doctor to continue medication so I received poor Dr care at expensive price I don't mind paying after all it is my health you really can't put a price on that but I at least expect it to get complete Care not partial care so now I unnecessarily have to go back to my doctor go through all this over again when it could have all been done here. After reading all reviews I realize that I'm not by far the only one feeling Dr care was bad at least the one I saw.. I gave them 5 stars they were actually closed when I got here.. I explained my situation which was quite Xtreme. A really nice dark skin gentleman said ok fill out info on kios he was so kind and understanding the staff were great to me I m in no way trying to trash the place.. everyone was lovely and kind helpful. It was very clean and professional the tech people were so great real down to earth people they made me feel welcomed & very at ease... My only issue lies with the doctor and that's a very huge issue & of course they don't take my insurance.. I WAS told we take all insurance but not mine àfter reading reviews IDK WHAT TO EXPECT I was told$200. but somehow I'm not believing it.. so to sum it up great place <for my 1st x there) but there is definitely a major problem with the actual dr's which is the most important thing to be misdiagnosed or not taken seriously is unacceptable and have to pay for unacceptable care.. Something needs to change something needs to be done a change needs to happen sooner than later.. These Dr's want to play God & play with sick people's life.. Wait till lawsuits start pouring in. I guess that's what it will take to really check these Drs out then a change will have to happen.. So sad 😢

Unreliable turnaround time for PCR tests -- NOT 3-5 days. My test result was posted after *7 days.* Additionally, there was no notification that the result was released, had to keep checking the portal every day to see if it had been posted.

I love the fact that it is fast and straight to the point care. And they are not rude, but I am noticing that there is no social distance within the waiting area people with covid is right next to people coming in to get tested and there was a man coughing on people. There is no time out to spray down the place before letting in the next group. If you didn't have it you can possibly catch it if you are sitting right arm to arm space next to someone else. Air is air what you inhale in a room another person will exhale next to you. For example a person smoking a cigarettes' that vapor or air is going to hit the face of the person next to them. I called them up to let them know. The lady was nice who spoke to me and said she will look into it. All I can say to others if you see something say something. I

I have never had an issue at this site! The staff is kind and knowledgeable. My family and I have gotten really great care, especially when we were extremely ill. I have never waited no more than 15 minutes to be seen. I'm grateful to be able to come here to be treated when I am unable to see my doctor. Knowing that I still will get great care.

Great location and friendly staff. Everything is so quick. I’ve been here when it’s busy and when it’s empty and you barely notice the difference in wait time. The friendly staff listens and they never forget to walk me through every bit of treatment.

I came in very weak and sick. I had no idea what was wrong with me. I was hallucinating feverish I thought I may have Covid, but my testers always came back negative. It was actually a flu. I didn’t get one since I was very young. I forgotten how tough it is, Alexandra Devine, and Natania Took very good human care of me they realize I couldn’t wait that long so they took me in early after coming to greet me and ask me my symptoms in the waiting room. I was sweating profusely. I was very weak at one point it made me cry and Devine kindly rubbed my back affectionately. And it really helped me heal from that too. Good good doctors Do know that the best medicine is kindness, and understanding . This is what I experienced At that particular location on Delancey street. Thank you again Alexandra and her staff. I came home sick but relieved I knew what it is the matter with me, and what to do about it.

My family and I were treated extremely well and professionally by the medical team. However, when it came to the provider Rubina Khan Pa my experience completely changed. She entered the room in a very degrading manner and made unethical comments and remarks regarding our ethnicity. In many ways I felt as though my concerns were being disregarded and showed no empathy towards my husband and I and left feeling discontent. I would return to the clinic and would recommend others to come but not to be treated by this provider.

Excellent experience; from intake to the nurse, to the doctor, everyone was polite, professional, and efficient. The doctor took time to explain the nature of the virus she diagnosed me to have, as well as the specific reasoning for some of my symptoms, and the best way to return to health.

Unfortunately I have to give CityMD a bad review. Not to the care takers, doctors and nurses, but how CityMD runs its business. In my experience, they just took my money and didn't care about my wellbeing. There was no follow-up; It was impossible to contact my doctor; I didn't get the results in the time I was told I would either. Being on the phone with customer support has been a nightmare - being put on hold for 30 minutes at the time. And when you get through, no one has answers, and you have to start the whole process again.

Very fast and professional care. Very fast intake. Nice staff that explains every step and prescriptions that quickly land at you local pharmacy. 40 min total time vs emergency room that might take 4 hours.

From the moment I walked in, the experience was great. I was greeted and assisted with professionalism. The facility was clean and covid safe practices was upheld. I was seen right away, they listened to what my issue was and treated accordingly. Would definitely recommend if you can't get to your doctor and need to be seen right away.

I’ve been here too many times to count and the one time I’m in a pinch and ask for a disposable mask (to ride the subway) and they refuse. Terrible business and anti-public health. Hope you enjoy the 5 cent savings… going elsewhere for my Covid tests going forward ✌🏼

I needed to get something checked late, so I called just before 7pm & asked if they were accepting walk-ins. They said yes; I got there at 7:30 & they had me out by 7:50. The staff was friendly, understanding & informative. Everything looked clean. They charged me $225 because I didn't have insurance, but other places had quoted more, so it seems reasonable. Would recommend to anyone needing an urgent care facility.

Every time I go to CityMd I’m treated quickly and professionally! All of the staff is pleasant from entering, front desk and all nurses/Medical assistants. The doctors and or residents are amazing and very informative regarding the reason and needs medications for your ailment! I am going to choose a primary care physician out of the NYS-109 Delancey Street Site. I give them 5 STARS!!!!

I went to City MD with an awful migraine. I was seen by dr Samantha Berry, who was very friendly and did a thorough examination. Explained to me what might have triggered my migraine, run some tests, how to treat it and recommended a specialist. The care I had was the same if I had gone to my own PC.

My whole visit including check-in, pay, wait, care, restroom use and discharge was less than an hour! All the staff were professional and pleasant. The doctor seemed to care about my ear pain and made sure I was able to fly in the next three days. I didn't feel rushed as I was able to leave my many belongings in the room for safety while used the facilities.

Everyone I interacted with, starting with reception, could not have been nicer. I was seen within 10 or 15 minutes. They made me feel very comfortable, saw to my needs quickly and answered all of my questions. My visit was on a weekday at around 4:30pm. I assume they are much busier after normal work hours and on weekends, but my visit at that time was perfect.

I came in for a PCR Covid test. The staff was one of the most courteous and attentive I’ve ever experienced. They were really efficient even with a rush of walk ins in the morning, unlike some other city MDs. After getting evaluated by the nurse there was no wait time to see the doctor and get swabbed.

It was my first time going to the 136 Delancy Street City MD. I found the two young men manning the reception desk to be unusually and extremely kind, caring, quick to help, efficient, and helpful. The woman who gave me the Covid test was also quite nice. I strongly recommend this CityMD.

On 11/15/22, I visited 138 Delancey St, New York, NY 10002 location and didn’t had a pleasant experience. I went to urgent care because my face was red and swollen along with my arms. My complaint about the visit was the how I heard the whole conversation the nurse practitioner had with the doctor about why I came to CityMD. Not only was it violating HIPPA Law, i was shock to hear them clearly! I felt the reason why I came in for was being mocked. I even felt they were judging me when I explained to them my concerns. I haven’t experienced this before and I wish no one has to either. I’ve been to so many CityMD and I paid my share of copays. Please train the staff to be more mindful and respectful. No patient who is in pain and uncomfortable during the visit wants to hear being spoken loudly outside the hall.

They were efficient and thorough. My problem was minor but they took down my medical history. I feel secure to know they now have a record with my health problems and prescriptions. . I recommend when urgent care is needed this is a good bet.

I had a horrible experience at this urgent care. I was spoken to harshly & with judgement. Further, if you want to see an MD, be sure to make sure they have one on staff before paying. I was seen by a PA without being told until after I went to the exam room. I did not feel that anyone listened to me & did not take the time to understand my ailment. I do not recommend going here at all. Just wanted to add that I was asked if they should wrap my wrist. I'm sorry, but I came here to be treated, if I knew what you should do I wouldn't be here.

CityMD on Delancey/lower east side of Manhattan is excellent in terms of service, friendliness and a caring demeanor and atmosphere. I highly recommend it. Honestly, my experience there was considerably better in terms of wait time, service of reception staff, nurse, X-ray technician and doctor than persons and circumstances present in a couple of the large hospitals in this city. I wholeheartedly recommend this fine facility and it’s capable and considerate staff.
