Rude staff, provided guidance inconsistent with the published state and CDC recommendations for COVID, and 10 days later, no PCR result and no semblance of accountability…and then they hang up on you if you try to find out an update. Other locations are so much better than this. Every interaction has been poor at this location.

GET IT IN WRITING THAT YOU WILL NOT BE CHARGED IF YOU HAVE INSURANCE. City MD had told me they would not charge me for anything because I was covered under golden rule insurance. 5 months later they bill me HEAVY. My insurance covers $125 per visit and I was left to pay for $125. I mentioned this on the social media, and the only person who responded was a random facebook account saying I seemed fake. I went to the profile, the WOMEN WHO POSTED WORKS AT CITY MD. DO NOT TRUST THEM. KEEP YOUR MONEY SAFE AND STAY AWAY

This is a 5 star healthcare system. Dr.Stefania Jovanovic is an angel with her medical assistant. Their super care is constantly unchanged. Front desk are awesome and she was taking my calls with patience. This was on Aug.30,2023. This team needs to be awarded for their outstanding work. The only problem I am frequently seeing are some homeless guys attacking the front desk and the front desk usually is dealing with them politely. I have seen this many times. I think they are targeted by homeless. They need a security guard to protect them and their patients.

Visited this location after a referral from another CityMD for an x-ray. They were quick and the customer service was great, the location is very accessible and the results were out within minutes and the doctor followed up with a call to discuss the results. Thank You CityMD

I was beyond sick and had been for almost 2 weeks. I had my honeymoon trip scheduled two days after my visit and was desperate for help. The doctor and his team prescribed me multiple medications that ended up being the perfect cocktail to get me back on my feet in time for the trip and to manage all my lingering symptoms until the cold I had was pretty much dissipated. SO GRATEFUL! The doctor thoroughly explained WHAT each of the medications he prescribed would do, WHY he was prescribing them, WHEN I should be taking them, and how to properly monitor my improvements. All of this happened with a sense of urgency, but I absolutely didn't feel rushed at all and I cannot get over how knowledgeable, charming, and upbeat the doctor and all staff at this location was. Thank you City MD team for saving my honeymoon!!

I was an out of town visitor and came down with a dramatic case of the stomach virus. It was so bad I was in need of medical attention so I could stop vomiting and not become any more dehydrated. The doctor and medical team were fantastic, empathetic and fast acting to alleviate my wicked bad vomiting issue so I could leave and go rest at the hotel for another day. Bummer I lost a day in NYC to illness but I’d give them 5 stars for their quick treatment plan and compassionate care. I was able to enjoy the big apple the very next day. Thank you

Good staff and nurses useless PA that knows nothing about medicine or how to not think like a robotic doctor. Think Outside the box! Medicine is a joke in this country. That’s why so many perished during the pandemic

I’ve been here a couple of times over the past few years and have to say they treated me with expertise and care.

I provided my insurance and it looks like it wasn't even used. Why wasn't the service I was provided filed through my insurance? I'm being slapped with a huge out of pocket cost just for getting tested for COVID and strep and was not informed this would be the case. Feels like a huge scam

The receptionist, nurse, and doctor (Stefania Jovanovic) were all incredibly empathetic, professional, and efficient—without compromising the quality of care. We were in and out in 30 minutes. Amazing staff and location!

I’ve been to this site several times with good experiences, and I use their app. I went in for a flu shot. I tried to book it on the app but couldn’t. Huh? The receptionist told me to scan a QR code, which took me back into the portal. He kindly explained that I should scan again and start from scratch. When I did that I was prompted to fill in all my info, which is extensive and of course is all already in the app. Why use the app? I decided to leave. There are plenty of places to get a flu shot, which is a lucrative procedure for these places. This is a corporate or IT problem that need to be fixed, not one unique to this site. But they lost me over this.

Sat for an hour and 13 minutes for a Dr James Sacca to not do what my new employer asked me to have done. So my insurance got billed for a session when I had my vitals done and a 3 minute one way conversation. Some doctors need to get off the God complex remember when a person comes in for something especially for a job just do it. I didn't ask for his opinion on what he thought I asked him to complete what my new employer asked me to do. This is the second time I came 2 ppl where before me in the waiting room and I waited over an hour to see a doctor. I would not come back or recommend to anyone.

I just got a covid test done on 33rd st 8th ave location. It was an hour 40minutes ago. I have not received my result yet, as the doctor promised I should get it  within one hour. It was an uncomfortable experience. I also asked for a PCR, and was denied by the doctor. At the end, the doctor hurry me out. It is not the same citi MD I used to know.

Needed a COVID test for travel the next day and they did not disappoint!…Got there, was warmly and professionally greeted, was instructed through the registration process, and a few minutes later testing was performed .Was also warmly and professionally treated by the young man who took my daughters sample. The visit was wrapped up by the MD..After 30 minutes received my results both online and also a hard copy….Result was perfect as when I uploaded it to the travel portal we got immediately approved for travel !…And this was on a Sunday!..Way to go City MD…What a great team!

Over the past few years City Md locations have popped up all over NYC. Until last year when the pandemic started I never had the need to go to City Md. However I have gone to the 33rd st location multiple times to date. On Monday August 2nd I went into the location in need of a pcr test for my upcoming vacation. The cdc & other government agencies have strict guidelines on the amount of days between the time you test versus the date of your trip… the staff asked me where I was going and what date I was leaving. I told them that the test couldn’t be done soon than 5 days prior to the trip date. They said the turnaround time was 2-3 days. It is August 6, I missed my trip and I still haven’t received my pcr test results. I believe that my specimen sample for the test was tampered with or simply not sent out to the lab. The facility’s manager Michael was very cavalier when I called on August 4th (the day before my trip) with concerns. I am pushing for an investigation into how they deal with patients labs. It is illegal to tamper with lab specimens. If you are in need of urgent care don’t hesitate to go to a hospital or a more Reputable medical center.

Done a COVID test to fly back to Europe: fast and efficient, I raccomand it. Do not walk in too late or they will be at capacity. US phone number needed to enter in the waiting list.

Traveling with a friend with a history of afib who was experiencing heart issues. This location was near our hotel and after confirming by phone that they could do an EKG, we went in the early morning. We didn’t have to wait long and both nurse and doctor (or PA) were caring and thorough. They took the time to call my friends cardiologist to confirm a medication change. We were so impressed with the care here and everything about the clinic.

I have been going to this City MD now for the past 2 years and they have been so helpful, quick, efficient and take great care of all of their patients. Friendly staff. Only setback is for the Covid test the lines get very long but they know how to move quickly for each patient. This is a great location to have in midtown Manhattan when you need to get to an urgent care right away.

On vacation but had my ears end up impacted. Went here in the morning because I could not hear, the staff was all amazing. The doctor and her assistant were very sweet - the doctor was very personable and did a great job getting everything fixed quickly and thoroughly.

Care was knowledgeable and diagnosis and treatment were done in a very efficient way. Dr. Jovanovic was kind and answered all my questions- highly recommend for an urgent health condition.

The employees at CityMD are not following safe Covid protocols. Mask are not Kn95s or 95s. Instead they are loose fitting and worn below noses in some cases. The PA I saw dismissed concern about Covid by saying he had had it twice. Given his nonchalance and likelihood of exposure, I am concerned that I could get it from him. There is no sign of Hepa filtration in the waiting area or exam rooms. Given the current infection level in NYC, I do not feel safe while at CityMD and I would not recommend anyone go there.

I went to this CityMD location for the first time EVER on Saturday, March 5, 2022. MyFAVORITE location is CityMD in the Flatiron (37 West 23rd St.) District. Stepping through the door,I was cheerfully (but not annoyingly cheerful) welcomed by Yasmine. She was kind, efficient and generous with Their “swag”. I don’t know why, but I love Their sanitizer spray. The waiting area was comfortable. And there were a few people waiting.. I waited 25 minutes before being called. And if You know CityMD that’s a lengthy wait. For Them. But Their waiting area is so comfy, I don’t mind. The Young nurse, Stephanie was extremely apologetic about the wait; She explained there was only ONE Doctor on staff, that day. Also very unusual for Them. But I understood and assured Her NO APOLOGY was necessary. She deftly took My vitals and before She excused Herself, She told Me the Doctor May take a while. I waited approximately 20minutes. Then Laura came in to make note of My symptoms aetc. She too was genuinely apologetic and so friendly. Dr. James Saco (Sacco?) came in about 15 minutes after Laura stepped out.He too was apologized for the wait. I waved the apology away and told Him how great everyone has been and I didn’t mind the wait. I asked how He could be simultaneously SO KIND and EXHAUSTED . He laughed. Without disclosing My reason for being there that Saturday, I have to state how blown away I was by the fact that despite, Them having a significant time crunch. Dr. James Saco, took His time. He did NOT SHORTCUT My exam. And had wonderful banter and humor. At the end of the visit, I was sent away with well wishes and warm smiles by, Angel. I wholeheartedly recommend CityMD 33rd street AND My “home” location at Flatiron District. You will leave those locations feeling MUCH MUCH better than when You got there.

I was impressed and surprised by the facility's structure getting people to be seen by each personnel as well as the friendliness and professionalism they demonstrated. Thank you ‼️ I was in and out of the Urgicare in approximately 30 minutes.

My experience at the CityMD Urgent Care West 33rd Street was an excellent one. The staff was very friendly. The office was was very clean and the wait was very short especially that I was not feeling well. The doctor took her time accessing my symptoms; not being rushed like most doctors do. The staff were inattentive, dismissive and uncaring. This led them to ignore my request for a pcr test which I needed for my employer. Even though I specifically asked for the test for my job and was told the results would be on the portal. And even when I called later when I didn't receive them, they insisted they should be on the portal which I couldn't access since the intake rep entered my name wrong. It was until days later and over 2 hours on the phone that I was told they never sent in the pcr test since the rapid test was positive. They never told me that. Now I am left without proper verification for my job. I will never go back and advise against

I didn't check Google Maps review before I came here but a 4.5 out of five star I should have and understood why they service here from the time you check in until you leave is beyond belief. I can't tell you how great the medical scribe was the medical professionals up front and the doctor. is the second time of utilize them in the last month and I didn't have to pay the $35 copay to go to the emergency room. I'm sure my insurance company is happy too. I think I'm more into wellness and patient center care because of the conversation and the belief that it takes a team to what work towards wellness. I did not expect to get any care on a weekend, but CityMD had me all the way. I received a diagnosis and treatment plan in less than an hour. Had I not received such quick and expert care my condition would have surely progressed to a serious state. Thank you CityMD team!
