This is such a unique carousel. Not like your typical merry go round. This one goes up and down and spins around all over but doesn’t make you feel dizzy. It’s so cute you get to sit in a fish! The ride is not super long but long enough to not feel like it’s too short. And not bad, it’s only $5 per person. My kids were so amazed on this ride! Totally wasn’t expecting for the way it was gonna go. At night with the colors, it’s beautiful like sea glass!

We loved this Carousel. It was peaceful and didn’t bring on any dizziness at all. Different then any we’ve rode on in the past. The park right by it was also a nice place to rest while the kids and cousins played after a full day of viewing the Statue of Liberty.

When visiting Battery Park, you have to stop by and ride the seaglass carousel. It was so beautiful. The cost to ride the carousel is $6 a person, and it was worth every penny. The staff was very friendly and very informative. They made sure we had the perfect spot. Definitely need to enjoy this activity while at Battery Park.

So beautiful during dark. The light gives off such a special and dreamlike atmosphere. It's a special ride for both kids and adults. Just 5 USD per ride.

This beautiful carousel features all kinds of different fish. There are lionfish, angelfish, butterflie fish, discus fish, fighting fish, and betas. They change colors thru LED lights as the ride moves. It's been located at Battery Park since 2015. The first New york City Aquarium was located here, in Clinton Castle, until 1941.

This Carousel made up of fish with different colors was beautiful. The music playing made it seem like you were in a different world, a world under the sea. The fish go around and most of them spin but it is a gentle spin. I would love to come back at night when the colors of the fish and the lighting are more pronounced. The $6.00 ticket to ride in one of the fish was worth it or it might seem pricey but they do need to maintain the Carousel and it's staff.

One of the most interesting carousels, and definitely the most creative one! It looks pretty different during the day and at night. Recommending going there before sunset so you can get both two types of views. Tickets can be reserved and can also be bought at the spot.

Ein schillerndes Karussell, das (sofern es sphärische Klänge dazu gäbe) einen ins Träumen verfallen ließe. Nett anzusehen und für Klein und Groß eine Fahrt wert. Kostet 6 Dollar.

Sea glass carousel is fabulous!!! This is absolutely magical! I find it’s even better at night when it’s dark and the rides seems like it’s glowing! It’s inside Battery Park and by the Staten Island ferry. You have to check it out!!! Highly recommend!!!

This place is an absolute gem! It is so beautifully made down to the details of the fish, the ethereal music, and psychedelic lighting. Really feels like you are magically transported under the sea! Even the building is shaped like a modern sea shell. So worth the trip out to battery park! It costs $5 for a ticket, but the ride is pretty short. If you're there to take photos I'd suggest getting multiple tickets. They don't let you walk around to photograph. Also go during the week days to try to avoid lots of people. Really beautiful tucked away space that adds some whimsical to the busy city!

What an unusual treat... YOU RIDE on FISH under the sea... while twirling around to ethereal music! Best done later in the day so that the glowing pastel fish will dazzle you. The ride even has a coral sleigh so that wheelchair users can enjoy the ride! Located in Battery Park in lower Manhattan, this attraction is easily added after a trip to Ellis Island or the Statue of Liberty.

Staff friendly straight to the point $5 per person to ride for about 3 min.. thats NY. I would of liked to experience this carousel at night it must look beautiful when it lights up and the staten island ferry is right next to it. You can ride that for free

This carousel is unique and beautiful. The music was classical and created a under the sea kinda feel! The attendant even clapped after the ride making it feel like a masterpiece! Would definitely recommend for a unique and fun experience!

truly a great addition to the financial district. only open on weekends, its a cheap, fun thing to do. its truly an amazing sensory experience. i found it extremely peaceful and left in awe. think of it as an elevated version of a carousel. it made me feel like a kid and all bubbly on the inside. definitely have to come back soon.

I bring my daughter here every week she’s so in love with the young lady that calls everyone friends and tiny friends. Every time we go in the park she’s says mom can I go see see my friend. The workers here are so nice and always keep my daughter smiling from the time she walks in till the time that she leaves, and even though they don’t allow stroller parking inside I park outside and no one has yet the do any harm to my stroller or my daughter scooter. I even forgot my stroller last week for over and hour came back and it was still outside in the same place. If you come to New York you won’t want to miss it they are open longer than the Statue of Liberty and for way less and more fun for the kids. It looks so beautiful day and night. My daughter is literally so addicted to this place that I have to buy a 10 pack every single time I go ! But it’s always worth it because she loves fish.

Love love love this place. Hidden gem in Manhattan. I think it was $6/person and the ride felt long enough for a fun experience. All of the fish on outer ring are stationary, so if you want to get the full effect sit inside the outer ring. Seats are moon shaped with a bit of a lip so you won't necessarily fall out. Didn't see any age restrictions but my 7 yr old had no problems sitting on his own. Highly highly recommend this attraction. Wish we had time to come back in the evening to see the coloured lights.

It’s my 10th time at Seas glass carousel and every time is like the first time. My kids and myself love everything about it. The ride is short and there is a $5.50 per ride. It’s beautiful, and something to do. I suggest a night ride because of the colors.

Lovely sea themed attraction that doesn't look like your typical carousel. The music and lights were a pleasant experience. A nice reprieve from the heat of the day. Tickets were $6 a person. Even the older kids enjoyed it.

Was annoyed that I have to purchase 2 tickets for my 3 year old to sit in my lap but whatever purchase 4 so we could ride twice. Then my friend had a stroller so i told her to go first & I would watch stroller but the worker assured us he’s watching the stroller not to worry. We come off the ride my friend wallet purse house keys credit cards bank cards and $55 cash was gone she was so frightened had to cancel all her card order new ID plus change her locks to her house because her Id has her address and they stole her house keys. All this to go on a carousel ride. Nothing was done.

Such a lovely spot. Well worth a visit! I love how relaxing it is. Great for kids or adults! Music is relaxing and not irritating like traditional carousels. Love the colors. I would love to go again at night to get the full glow experience but just lovely in any light.

This carousel made of fish is beautiful love the colors. The music is relaxing. Is only $6 dollars. However the ride time is not long. I need to come back at night to really enjoy the colors of the sea fish.

It looked great on pictures and videos but I don't think it lived up to my expectation. I do however think if you can go after dark (assuming it's open) it would be a better experience. The lights would be more effective and I think that would enhance the experience.

A beautiful carousel in downtown. The cars are fish and the melody is very sweet. It's amazing for adults and children. During the week isn't crowded, so the experience is better.

Sooo beautiful! Adults and kids (elementary age) enjoyed it so much we rode twice. Pretty magical. Staff friendly. Closest restrooms at the Staten Island Ferry, right around the corner).

This place was phenomenal! The place was very beautiful. I loved the music and the ride. It was very reasonably priced$5 per ride or 10 rides for $45.

Gorgeous carousel conveniently located near the Staten Island ferry and an accessible subway stop. We had a great time riding and then playing at the nearby park. This was easily the top activity of our entire trip for my four year old, so I would definitely say it's worth a stop! The cost is $6 per rider.

Easily the most therapeutic carousel I’ve ever been on. Staff was over-the-top friendly. It’s truly a work of art!

Loved the experience. It’s not your ordinary carousel and I’m so glad since the regular ones kind of get me a bit dizzy and can be a bit boring. $5 for one ticket and I know there was a deal for like 4 or 5 but I rode it myself and once so unsure but the price is worth it.

After a wonderful round trip on the Staten Island Ferry we wandered over toward Battery Park. SO happy that one of the friendly “SEAGLASS” attendants caught us staring into that glowing carousel just after a spectacular mid-October Sunset. She hollered out “Come ON, guys! It’s not just for kids! You’ll love it”. And she was so right! We had a blast! Interesting getting belted into a giant fish, but once the ride starts the fun goes to a number 10. Can’t recall that last time I laughed so hard all through any type of “ride”. The music is mesmerizing, the light show will take you away as you swirl and gallop around the circular indoor stage on your personal Fantasy Fish. For $5 it’s the best value in New York! (After the subway, that is)
