They have a wide range of fish and the price are fairly good compare to the pet store where I live. I can't wait to visit this place again! ---------------- I came again and bought few fish for my tank. Everything was great and I was satisfied with the price. However, the 8 Neon Tetra I bought were all dead two day later. My tank was very healthy as all my other fish are still alive. I then took them out and look close to them and found most of their tails was incomplete and some white spots on them. I like them so much but sadly they are all sick.. I wish the store can take care of them more than what is now.

The best aquarium store for low price and healthy fish. I've never had an issue with anything I've bought here. They have a wide selection of fish and even have a bunch of plants and tissue cultures cups you can't get anywhere else in Brooklyn.

My go-to place for my aquascape needs. They have everything you need to start your aquascape. They have a very nice selection of live plants and tissue cultures from ADA. There's also a ton of different rocks and stones in bins to choose from. And they have the popular substrates in stock as well. Almost everything in my 20 gallon long tank can be found in this store, including the endlers. CaribSea Eco-complete, dragon stone, Monte Carlo and Japanese Dwarf Pennywort.

I wish I could give this place a nicer rating, and it’s definitely also my inexperience that caused this. But I bought 3 types of live plants from here. 2 from inside an inhabited tank, the other in a container. Within a few days of just straight away placing the plants inside the tank my healthy betta came down with ick, and I’m assuming associated fin rot? Ick for sure was present though. I was able to treat the tank entirely. I just wish the plants would have been kept in healthier conditions from the start as I was unaware of the possible issues that came with not quarantining your plants (or even that it was necessary). Thankfully my fish is healing ❤️‍🩹 and the plants are now thriving! Hope this helps someone avoid the mistakes I made. Also the staff was very friendly and courteous, no issues there! Pricing was also reasonable.

The fish they have are very common...I purchased a bunch of fish from them..1st time customer that been taking fish for more than 25 years....my water was great...one of the fish I brought was clearly slow dying with no visible signs of sickness..I brought back the fish and ask for even swap which I thought was completely reasonable...they waited for all customers to leave and these two young men told me no they can't knowing I purchased a sick fish..reason was It would be a total loss for them..I was like really lol. I did not happen to read their policy..but whats right is right!

This place is a Gem in the neighborhood, has a massive variety of fish and other creatures, tanks are very clean and animals are healthy. The people that work there are helpful and easy to get ahold of.... I came after they were highly recommended by a professional in the industry who deals with them regularly and was not disappointed. Prices are good and there is just a massive variety of everything from supplies to animals.

Worst place ever. Yesterday 06/15/21 I bought 6 fish and stuff for it totaling my order to $100 and followers the instructions the guy told me to do and within three hours of having my fish all 6 fish was dead. And my sister also bought the same exact fish and stuff and hers died also in the middle of the night . Worst place to shop fish die within hours of buying them. 0/5 stars don’t waste your money here .

They have very unique fishes! I have never seen any of these fishes in any other aquarium! This store is a bit pricey though! I most of them cost 100-400 dollars! They do, however, have inexpensive foshes as well! I got about 8 fishes for around 25 dollars including the food!

I go there to get my fish and they have great quality fish with reasonable prices but this time the fish I got had Ich. I’m trying to treat them but I don’t know if they will last.

The only asian aquarium store in nyc that actually cares about the fish animals and customers needs. Please don’t ever buy an aquarium or fish, but if you rescue and want to have a reliable, knowledgeable staff who will know medications and more this is the spot. There is also WetPetVet (fish vet) in nyc.

I agree with the other reviewers about the sick and dying fish. I was told about this place from a friend who bought 8 Amano shrimps for $20. I picked out two guppies that were fairly actively swimming. When I asked one of the dudes to help pick them out, he really battered the fish with the small net and banged on the glass to scare them around. By the time I looked at the bag, my poor guppies were dazed and floating listlessly. I can tell they’re not going to make it :( to add insult to injury, there is no exchange or returns.

ZERO STARS! The customer service at this store is an absolute joke. I bought a fish tank and filters ($153.00) as a gift for a family member, the family member asked me to return it as they wanted a different size/type of fish tank. I called the store to ask if they would accept the return and refund. They said they would accept it as long as the tank had not been used. As a result, I gave another gift to my family member. I come back to the store a couple of days later with the tank and filters untouched, still in the box, and sealed as the store had given it to me. The employee told me they could only give me store credit for the items. I explained that I had called and someone had told me differently, but they did not care. They also did not care that I do not own fish and will not be owning fish in the future. Completely refused to come up with another arrangement. So now I’m out of $153.00, that I will never get back, and nobody will use the flimsy store credit receipt they gave me, which doesn’t even have the name of the store listed on it. Also, the only signs in the store say that they don’t accept returns of LIVE ANIMALS, not equipment. Don’t waste your time on this store.

They have a really nice selection of fishes and products for your aquarium but the fish I’ve bought here have died within a day or two. Too bad they don’t don’t refund or exchange.

This is my usual place for aquarium stuff and live fish. It’s great but they need to update their store hours! They open at 11am on weekdays!

I used to come here a lot because there’s a great variety, workers are nice and the prices were good. But I notice almost every fish I bought from them had some problem the moment I bought them. All my other fish purchased elsewhere have been fine. Every loach I bought gave ich to my tank even after quarantining. The Green Terror I bought had constant problems that couldn’t be remedied and died. The severum they gave me had ruined fins that they told me would heal but never did for some reason. The black ghost knife fish we bought died for no reason within days. They bagged one of my loaches with a bag that had a hole and didn’t check for leaks so when I left, the bag was dripping, half empty and my loach nearly died. I bought shrimps from them and 2 of them randomly died a day later and they wouldn’t replace the shrimps. Buy elsewhere.

After a bad experience somewhere else went here today. Man again a shop fully stocked with just about everything under the sun. Asked for what I needed and the friendly staff asked questions we put some ideas together and wasn't sold anything that I knew wasn't needed cause I had it. Great place, great prices and the staff is to die for. Thanks again guys for the help today and I'll see you soon.

Average aquarium shop. The products they have are generic brands and the prices are not clearly labeled for equipment and tanks. The livestock themselves are super healthy though!

Great store! Most fish are healthy and staff is very friendly especially the manager who always helps me find fish. They care about getting you the best fish and helping you keep them. I have never been up sold or misinformed at this store. Buy at your own risk though as some fish appear sick or unhealthy such as some of the neon tetras that have NTD. I had an ich outbreak from a fish here that was easily treated. I’m rating so high though because this is something I see at all stores. This store has the best looking fish and prices compared to others in the NYC area. Highly recommend for all aquarium needs
