Customer service was horrible. I paid $9.75 for my large Thai ice tea. I asked for 30% sugar, but it tasted like they put 100% sugar. I asked for less ice and I had to correct the girl because she ended up filing my cup full with ice. The guy at the register was very rude and kept on insisting for tip. If I am paying close to $10 for my drink, I expect it to accommodate what I am asking. I will never go there again.

Jan 2023, 4.5/5 I ordered the Pearl Milk Tea which is your basic milk tea with the boba. It satisfied my bubble tea craving. Service was fast but it seems like every bubble tea place I go to, the employees are just there to serve and not be welcoming.

Gong Cha is one of my favorites in Texas so when I saw one in NYC, I was more than excited to try it out. It did not disappoint, the customer service was great, and our drinks were done in no time. I highly recommend this location! and look at this cute little guy that I got.

Ordered a bubble tea the other day. The mango boba's I choose were dried out and inflated. They knew this!! I didn't realise until taking a sip and when I told them this the guy behind the counter said "it's fine, they're already like that. Welcome to America, I can't do anything for you" and told me to move on!!! Bad service, bad quality, horrible people working there.

We got their Pearl Milk Tea and Taro Milk. Pearl milk tea is class and safe option, but Taro Milk is definitely an acquired taste. The drinks also felt watered down but that maybe because we went there during their opening hours and they were still in the middle of prepping.

Bubble bubble! Bubble tea! Quick on the go bubble tea! Location: it is located in Tinesquare, they have their own store. It will satisfy your bubble tea craving! Service: I just ordered and go, no interaction. Food: I almost taste all the flavors but my favorites are: TARO: as always this is good! Taro with bubbles is great! THAI ICED TEA: this one is good too! Thai experience! EARL GREY with 3 J’s: this is one of my fave because it has 3 jellies on it! DIRTY BROWN SUGAR: one of the newest flavors! It is good because not your usual sugar! STRAWBERRY TARO: good too, make sure only 30% sugar because it might be sweet. COFFEE MILK TEA: good, taste more tea than coffee! LEMON AIYU WHITE PEARL: my lease favorite, it has candied lemons which is super sweet. Price rating: 4 out of 10. It is so cheap! Well all recommended! But personally love the taro and earl grey with 3Js.

I thought it was a big boba place that has tables and chairs like in Asia but it’s just a small store for takeout! Of course the quality of their drinks are always great!

In general all the Gong Cha are great and the service is excellent but in this one the guy don’t help you to know the option. In my case, I was new in the city and didn’t really know what flavor will be my favorite. In other Gong Cha I saw a list of the top ten, so if you are new, check reviews before you order. My recommendation of tea is taro

I usually get a matcha tea latte w/pearls when I come to Gong Cha. This time I dared and got a lychee tea w/pearls. Boy, it is so flavorful and goes perfectly with the boba pearls. Quick service and decent priced.

the only boba place in town that knows how to brew tea. the other gong chas just don’t hit the same either, so walk a bit more, go to this branch on broadway and try the jasmine milk tea with tapioca <3

First of all, they do not have options for people like me who are lactose intolerant. My SO had one of their bubble teas. It was decent, but he felt that it had a lot of ice than liquid and it tasted like plain ice sometimes.

Probably the worst bubble tea I have had in Manhattan and I have tried other locations of gong cha. I ordered my usual taro milk tea with 50% sugar. The tea given to me was extra sweet even after saying 50% and the taste was grainy like eating chalk in milk. Paid a whopping $7.5 for a small size which I had to trash. Please do not waste your money here and go to Modern tea few blocks away.

I love Gong Cha, and this branch in Manhattan at Times Square didn’t disappoint. Delicious drinks and reasonable prices. While I missed the tea and fruit puree combination I’ve had in other countries, this branch was excellent overall. Similar to most other Gong Cha locations I’ve visited, there are no seating arrangements here.

Gong Cha never disappoints. The spot was clean and had the same menu as other Gong Cha locations. We ordered an Earl Grey Milk Tea and Wintermelon Milk Tea, bith of which were really good. Check out my full review on Yelp for more details!

I was here in March and was spoken to rudely by members of staff. I accidentally said my order wrong as I’m new to bubble tea and she accused me of lying even though i apologised and told her i said the name of the tea wrong. came here again yesterday and the lady after making my drink pushed it my way and immediately turned her back. Don’t know if that’s just the way they are but both times haven’t felt welcome at all. Tea was good but unfortunately won’t be going back.

My personal experience was horrible, since they didn't have my flavor or my topping of choice and didn't bother putting in less ice when I requested it. But others I was with enjoyed it, so to each their own.

I love gong cha but this is probably the worst location I have been to. I ordered the strawberry matcha latte with lichee jelly which is usually great but this time it was like sickly sweet. But I’m not going to completely judge the location off one drink. The employee was really nice and the service was quick. There was no indoor seating but that is understandable for a small space in time square.

I'm from the Philippines and this is my go to Milk Tea shop! I'm glad that New York has it! The Milk Foam Dirty Brown Sugar tea is one of the best! 🤤

First time here, a small nook like place. Ordered the caramel something tea. It was delicious, not too sweet, even with the caramel. The cashier was pleasant. I think I've found my go to tea.

If you're close to this location the bubble tea is fairly good. My experience there was the staff seemed to be pleasant. I ordered the pearl milk tea, mango slush and with boba. The order was accurate when asked for how much ice and sugar. I did seem to notice that the boba amount didn't seem as much when compared if I went to some boba places in K-Town. The shop itself is in a nice location and has a good atmosphere.

This is something I treat myself too every so often! Very very clean and fast service.. cleanliness is so important. It is never really crowded even though they're basically in Times Square. I also love how the staff will customize how much sugar or ice is put into your beverage!

Oh yum!!! I get boba where ever I visit and was thrilled to find this place right in Times Square. They run out of a lot flavors towards the end of the day, but I was super happy with my strawberry and added basil seeds. Will definitely come back if we’re in the area again.

Best bubble tea, not just in the area but in terms of chains as well. Other bubble tea places use powdered tea and you can taste it. Here they only use freshly brewed tea and you will be able to tell. Friendly staff as well.
