Hallett's Cove Beach

Beach

πŸ‘πŸ‘ My dog swam out 50 yards, but the current did not sweep her away. Also the sunsets here are magnifico. Also there’s trash. But it’s local, sand-fed trash. Legend has it that the spirit of William Hallett visits the beach every 77 years. His next appearance is scheduled for July 7, 2027. People often mention beach,

Very peacefull little beach inside Astoria, very close to Brooklyn and close to beautifulls parks. The beach was just perfect to pass a good moment, with the birds πŸ¦… flying arround. There is a tree just perfect to don’t deal with the sun, u can be there long as you want. And sometimes people go with dogs, if u like animals u going enjoy a lot πŸ™‚

Quiet place with the view of Roosevelt island and Manhattan, have little beach, water front. You can rent a Citi Bike here too. Close by Sacratis art park and Costco. Nearby some bars/restaurants but not too many of them. Generally it's a quiet place.

Beautiful view except it's a bit dirty and there was a homeless man sleeping at the little beach spot

This beach is so clean! You will surely enjoy the sun, air, and sand. The good thing it is not allowed to eat or drink on the beach, which lessens the trashes in the sea!
