This place is the best. You walk in first floor is for products and product repair. The second floor is a McLaren experience that is out of this world and the people working there were so super nice if I could give them 10 Stars I would. The next floor is the gaming center which is also very cool and highly recommend it. I had just left the Apple Store and this hands down is 10 times the experience and the people were super nice and helpful we ended up spending over an hour just hanging out because it was such a cool place. The pictures that I uploaded and the video speak volumes about the experience versus what I'm typing here. I would not hesitate come in and experience this place

The Microsoft Experience Center was a very cool space with display units of all of the modern Microsoft products and accessories. The design of the store is phenomenal and very modern and clean. The third floor is set up like a gaming room with a dark gaming ambiance and atmosphere. I was able to get the new Xbox without any issues and the associates I worked with were very helpful and personable. I was in a rush but I would love to come visit again and really explore the display areas and merchandise. It's definitely worth checking out even if you weren't planning to buy anything!

After a long day at work, I headed straight to the Microsoft Store and was warmly greeted by two exceptional store representatives named Gianni and Ashley. They went above and beyond to assist me and their helpfulness was truly remarkable. If it were possible, I would give them 100 stars for their outstanding service. I entered the store with my laptop, which had a cracked screen, and inquired if I could simply pay for an upgrade like I had done in the past. However, they informed me that the system had changed after Covid, and they were now more lenient with their policies. They mentioned that they no longer kept refurbished laptops and quoted a price of $400 for a new screen replacement. I expressed my confusion, as this seemed unreasonable to me. They sympathized with my concern and sincerely apologized for any inconvenience caused. Feeling dissatisfied, I decided to speak with a manager to explore other options. It took a little while for the manager to arrive, and I immediately sensed trouble from her demeanor, including the stickers on her laptop and her correction of her own name. She displayed rudeness and even stated that if she granted my request, she would be obligated to do the same for everyone else. This response made it clear to me that she was unwilling to assist me. The manager's response was dismissive and rude, lacking any empathy or willingness to assist. When I expressed my frustration, stating that I guess I was wasting my time, she simply walked off, leaving her laptop on the desk and abandoning the two amazing employees who had been helping me. I hadn't realized she had left because my head was down. The presence of negative stickers on her laptop further conveyed her unpleasant demeanor. When I confronted her about walking off, she responded with a curt remark, saying she thought I was finished. It is truly disappointing to see someone with such a nasty attitude in a managerial position. Throughout the interaction, I remained calm and composed. Her poor communication skills and lack of understanding as a team leader raise serious concerns. On a positive note, I want to express my sincere appreciation for Gianni and Jasmine. Their exceptional service and professionalism make them deserving candidates for managerial roles within the store.

Free ride in a McLaren Senna simulator with Forza 5 in 2nd floor. 3rd floor was full of xbox and PCs with access to alot, also free. This was almost like being at LAN again. Recommend it to Nerds. 10 out of 10.

Had a great time playing the Willy Wonka game, Forza horizon on the xbox, and saw the McLaren simulator although it wasn't working on the day we went. Staff is all very friendly, plenty of space and not super crowded.

He laughed and took me on a tour! I asked him what do they have for older p people trying to catch up? He showed me a help page with his picture. Wow he was really down with the business! David Bush was an amazing staff member and was very thorough and communicative of what my issues were with the surface pro 7. I hope everyone gets to interact with David. On my second encounter with the laptop Taquain Gonzalez at the Microsoft center, this staff member was extremely helpful with setting up my device and explaining step by step what I needed to do in the short and long term. I also able to optimize on other Microsoft applications to increase my work productivity and efficiently. I hope all customers get to interact with Taquain!

WOW store and MUST visit. I have the surface pro, and waiting to get the new sueface, the staff is friendly and always available to help you. The products are well displayed and the design of the store makes it easy to walk around, even with a stroller. We had the opportunity to live experience the McLaren Senna by driving the simulator.

An absolute must for car enthusiasts! I arrived pretty early on a Saturday morning and there was no line for the forza simulator. Such a fun experience (and a super aesthetic photo spot)!

Very disappointed. This store has a McLaren video game but has been broken for a few weeks. You can't even sit in the car to get a picture. Upper levels (gaming level) are closed due to remodeling. More to experience and try out at Best Buy.

Not a must but it’s fun to visit. They do provide free gaming room in 3 floor for 30 mins per person and the second floor have a gaming car for try :) nice place to stop and take a break!

Wanted to try Surface headphones in the store, to experience how they sound, store employee said I can’t connect headphones to personal devices can ONLY listen on on your store devices. Question: why? I want to hear how they sound with my music on my device! Not on YouTube low quality music videos on your device. Very disappointed, really. When coming to Apple you can connect everything you want to personal devices.

Experience center is lovely. Clean, well-lit, and well-organized. Received good service the times I've gone, but heavens forbid you need to speak to someone at the store afterwards. Your call is routed overseas, they ask a host of details (not pertinent to your query), then say they'll notify the store to call you back, but it'll take 24-48 hrs to receive a response?! Why is the in-person presentation flawless, but the behind-the-scenes so difficult and frustrating?

I was shocked to find out that this was the last brick & mortar retail store in the United States but nevertheless, I was grateful. Alejandro was amazingly professional and not only solved my power cord issue he even did a complimentary check of my computer. The rest of the staff I met were also very helpful. All-in-all a great day to make up for a bad day, yesterday, when my computer stopped working.

I have had a great and informative experience at this Microsoft Experience Center. I have had the opportunity to see and experience Microsoft HoloLens 2 and engage on their Gaming floor.

This is to sing the praises of the Microsoft Experience Center and its superstar employee, Jami. She came to my rescue today when I temporarily had a tough time logging into one of my accounts. Patient, kind, clever and quick, Jami made everything unfold as it should, smooth as silk. Couldn't be happier than I am with the experience here today,

BE AWARE BEFORE PURCHASING IF YOU ARE VISITING NYC from out of state. Purchased a controller and accessories for the controller while visiting NYC. Returned home and my son does not like the controller. Upon calling support, I was informed that the only way a return and refund can be processed for an in-store purchase is to return in-person. Highly disappointed and in disbelief that there is no other return option. Robbery…

See the PS below! I just had the best customer experience experience of my life. I am a long-time Surface user (4 Surface Pro's, 1 Surface Book) and I needed a new device. But which one? Over the last few months, I had been stopping in the Microsoft Experience Store to try out the Surface Studio and Surface Laptops but not getting very far in figuring out which was best for me. The guys that were helping were nice and respectful--they all are there--but the conversations tended to focus on the devices capacities instead of my needs. But today I met Jami! She had all the technical detail I needed but, unlike the others I had encountered, she was a _truly_ _exceptional_ listener. She listened to my needs and an unusual priority--which device would work best for participating in on-line meetings AND taking notes with the updated stylus capacity. She patiently brough over all the options to a desk height table for me to try every possible configuration. The Surface Pro 9--one that hadn't been on my radar screen for this need--emerged as the clear winner. She continued to offer exceptional customer service identifying the best possible pricing available and helped get my computer up and running before I left. Throughout she provided expert technical advice always directed to the needs I was highlighting. Microsoft is extraordinarily lucky to have her on its team. I very much hope Microsoft invests in this all too rare combination of skills and talents and develops her considerable potential! PS When I finally had time to set up my device at home, it was BROKEN! It would not reboot. The screen was frozen on the microsoft logo--a well-known problem when you google it. I didn't even turn it on once! Excellent customer service professionals like Jami deserve great products to sell. This is totally unacceptable quality from Microsoft.

Long waiting line. Long waiting time. Only 4 supportive employees to many many customers. Not recommend going to this store for any replacement or fit if you really care about your time. The experience in the Experience Center was bad.

I go in here to play flight simulator once in a while. I have yet to try the racing while sitting in a McLaren upstairs, but I will be returning to. Clean store with good displays. Friendly, if only innocent, personnel. I find Microsoft boring, but the store offers good experiences.

I went into the store today because I dropped my Xbox elite series 2 controller and like some of you know. Everything falls out but this time the trigger and the stick stopped clicking. I was assisted by DAIJA today and she made everything quick and easy. They gave me a brand new controller in replacement for the old one. 10/10

I was treated rudely by the staff. I hit this store with my friends on 10/1/2022 afternoon around 6pm. There was a fancy McLaren car on the second floor and we were going to experience it. Before my turn, I asked a bald staff who controlled the digital system how to drive this car. He suddenly raised his voice:”What?!” And his face was squeezed into a walnut as if I asked a ridiculous question. Still this guy, when i tried to get into the car later, he was standing behind me and suddenly stopped me saying “wait a second”. So I stopped and turn around to look at him to see what happened. He immediately rudely hurried me:“Go! Just go!”. He ruined the whole experience. Clearly he treated other customers well. Microsoft is rich yeah, so it now cannot afford a friendly and non-racist staff?

I am writing this to let other people know, that Microsoft surface book has battery swelling issues. Please be aware. I purchased original Surface book from Microsoft store in 2017 , now battery is swelling and screen is bulging out, potentially a fire hazard. I contacted Microsoft costumer service,  they refused to help, asked me to pay $599 for the same refurbished replacement with no guarantee. This is awful business practice. I am writing this in hopes to safe others from this experience. Stay away from their products!

This store is not given nearly enough credit for how awesome it consistantly is. It's basically a big gaming store, with the 3rd floor always having something awesome on it. From high end PC gaming setups to VR experiences you never know what you will find in here. And the staff is always happy to show it off. The last time they had an actual McLaren in there that had been converted to simulate driving it while you play Forza Horizon 5. The car even shifted around as you "drove". I can't imagine what it cost just to get the thing in there, let alone to convert an actual McLaren into basically the worlds most expensive gaming chair. Oh and all the experiences and demos are free. This really is a hidden gem on 5th Ave. You can buy controllers and xbox stuff if you want, but the real attraction is the stuff most normal people could never afford.

I came in the store today to get my phone fixed. I was having problem sending email. I was assigned to a technician name Ralph. He was very knowledgeable, kind understanding and patience. I think I’ll overwork him because there was a lot of problems that need to be fix in which he completed. He’s the kind of worker that you need in your establishment. I hope one day he’ll move up to a management position in your store because he deserves it.

Taquain in the NYC Microsoft Experience location was amazing! No one likes to sit in this place but he made it so enjoyable and was very knowledgeable about the devices. He was beyond helpful and patient with me, someone who knows nothing about technology. I have been a Apple/Mac user for so long but he has turned me to a Microsoft user moving forward. Exceeded all expectations!!!!
