Born in Valencia Spain, Zurich-based architect Santiago Calatrava is world-renowned for his progressive designs, marrying elegance and simplicity, with precision and progress. If the pretext to the location is transportation and a great place to shop, by default, what you will find are tourists from all over the world snapping pictures of this colossal place. It is both a cathedral and a palace for transportation. Soaring ceilings and countless windows make this a “box of light” which heralds a spirit of celebration for something as simple as a train ride. Pay a visit - but don’t miss out at looking at this architectural wonder as much from the outside, with a 360 degree tour around it as from the inside. You will be marveled as much as amazed!!!

This building is huge! Very impressive to look at. Ofcourse this is one of the places in New York City you have to see. Unfortunately at the time were some construction works going on but that didn't impress me less. Highly recommended to take a look!

Nice tourist attraction mall near by ground zero. The mall has many stores inside and still has empty space. Very convenient with subway under the building.

The World Trade Center will forever hold a special place in our hearts. Also, walking between the New York's World Trade Center feel so amazing. See more of what the architect was after, looks beautiful and seeing people walking through the open space. The white marble looks fabulous in New York City.

Having seen the original site in 2007 of The World Trade Center, One World Trade Center was just starting to be made, I believe. Seeing what they have done with the area, 9/11 Memorial One World Trade Center Serves as a very emotional tribute. My visit in 2007. Left me very emotional as an American citizen now. That connection has grown. I take so much from both visits and still in disbelief as to what occurred that day. Something you just can’t believe could have occurred. As I walked around the 9/11 Memorial. I saw some aspects from my original tour in 2007 and showing my Son how as Americans especially New Yorkers, pulled together. I get a great sense from people I talk too and the lasting effect too this day it holds on us all. I get so emotional on my right wrist/arm I have 3 rubber bands all for 9/11. WTC tour from 2007 and two from my visit this time in 2023. New York has done well in gaining so much back from that day, but know it was felt the world over. If you visit New York City, you’ll not be disappointed in your visit to the area. Thank You for having us and for the insight and allowing us to see and re live in a way. Added pictures Eleven Tears Memorial Eleven Tears 200 Vesey Street American Express Tower, Three World Financial Center (at West Street) New York, N.Y. 10004 American Express tribute to the 11 American Express employees who lost their lives to the attack. I saw this in 2007 and forgot the name and certain details. So glad I found it and thank you to Phillip for letting me see the memorial again.

The new platform is very beautiful, arguably the best in New York City. The stores and restaurants are nice, for sure, but the real centerpiece is the Oculus itself. Santiago Calatrava designed the Oculus to be timeless, and that stands true, without a doubt. It looks like something out of a science fiction novel, truly stunning and completely unique. The way the light filters in is magical, and changes throughout the day. The space itself is massive, it's like stepping into Heaven. The entire perimeter of the building along the outside at ground level (the actual station is subterranean) has seating, it's a great place to rest, eat, and people watch. The absolute symbolism of this station's existence is stunning. It goes hand in hand with the 9/11 Memorial and Museum, and to me, represents that humanity can create something so beautiful from such a tragedy. So much love for New York, this is a relatively new, but must see landmark.

Lots of restaurants outside, inside a large selection of branded stores. There are also many subway lines and path trains to New Jersey.

Featuring one of the cleanest and best looking subway stations in Manhattan. Here, as in the entire World Trade Center area, everything was beautifully designed and modern.

Frequent service station with a great connection to the WTC Transportation Hub & Fulton Center.

Other than one or two workers (one man was very nice), very inhospitable. Has charging stations, shuts them down and sends you to the pay charging kiosk. Then forces you to walk around like a fool since you can’t sit anywhere, and shuts down all their food options before midnight. Only use if you have to and make sure you have a full cell battery and portable charger.

World Trade Center, houses not only transit options but shopping options too. Linked underground with WFC and Fulton Center, to avoid snow/rain conditions. Also house to lot of pop up stores around the year.

Worst customer service I've ever had Apple store in world trade center. Why is the apple store still in business? Made gunnies bar appointment when I walked in. First I came the store, some apple staff said come to another day, but suddenly he said he can make spot within 20-25 mins. If he did not say like that, I did not need to wait there over 1 hours. So I complaint about the waiting time. But the store manager cut in, he said you don't respect my staff he said he canceled my appointment. no service will be provide he said. The store guard threatened me. Actually I am not good at English. When I tried to explain the situation, they did not try to listen to me. They called police. Police recommended me report this issue to Apple online with discrimination issue. Police said you might get free apple product. What an amazing apple store in World Trade Center. The apple store refused to provide service because when I speak to them I point out the staff who talked first in the store, with my finger. They said that is rude. And the apple staff suddenly insisted that I closely stand with him. But I wear a mask. the staff did not wear a mask. That is no reason to refuse to provide the service and canceled the appointment. They made unreasonable reason to abuse the service rejection. Even they did not apologize about wasting my time. They care about their staff. Why do not care about customers. They did not respect customers, but request customers do respect to their staff.
