I love the different amenities around this section of the park. It’s always such a beautiful area to hangout in, the views are cinematic

Beautiful park for any weather! Big hills for sled after the snow! Perfect place to run under the highway, along Hudson River. So many people walking their dog, picnic in the summer, and beautiful sunset with New Jersey in the background. Also the easiest and fastest way to bike to downtown without a stop! If you have small children, there’s many play grounds too! They’re consistently renovating, opening more and more space!

This park has been evolving and improved over the recent years. Great place for families, working out, strolling along the Hudson or just relaxing. Hard to find parking, but an easy walk from the 66th Street Lincoln Center Station.

Pier "i" Cafe on the river is wonderful. Walking along the river especially with a sunset is calming , and again, wonderful experience. Many people bike, jog, walk dogs and bring children and occasionally Rollerblade along this amazing waterfront park. Personally I meditate regularly in Riverside Park.

A beautiful park. It's a great place for a afternoon or evening stroll. Every so often it opens up to a beautiful view of the river. It's also broken up by nice little garden arrangements and playgrounds. Best of all, you see almost no tourists.

A wonderful riverside park with winding paths, lots of chairs and lounging areas to picnic or simply enjoy people watching and gorgeous views of the Hudson, not crowded and with plenty of greenery. A lovely and easily accessible place to get away from the hustle of the city.

I visit this place very much often with my boyfriend. This is a really really great place to just relax and get intouch with nature. There are all kinds of trees, birds, bugs, ducks, frogs and turtles. The ducks, frogs and turtles also sometimes come out of the water. There is also an incredibly long bike lane that goes along the Hudson River and it's part of the park. The very best part is for new Yorkers it makes you appreciate the beauty of the city, especially at night when the city is all lit up. It would be a beautiful view for tourists also. In all, I definitely recommend this spot for beautiful sight seeing in NYC.

One of my favorite parks in the city. There is a walking/running path in addition to places to just sit on the grass or seats eat!

Beautiful views and you get to pet a lot of the friendly dogs🙂 The Pier I Cafe is great to grab some lunch and drinks, be a people watcher and chill. Love it. Food is great.

Best part about living in the upper west side. A long narrow park that hugs the river, great for walks, or biking, or picnics. With nice playgrounds for kids, beautiful tree and river views, and pier I nearby for great riverfront casual dining.

Nice park with ample seating and good views of the river. Unfortunately, the traffic noise was too much for me. If your not bothered by the decibel level of the West Side highway, you will probably like it.

Beautiful park along the Hudson River from 59th Street to 72nd Street with swings, volleyball courts, sunning areas, dog parks. Featured in my book, New York City Scavenger: The Ultimate Search for New York City's Hidden Treasures.

Quite a clean park. Kid friendly, dog friendly. View along the river are gorgeous. The pathways can get a little crowded on a nice day, but still worth the visit. Some parts of the grassy areas can be covered in dog or geese poop in case you’re looking to picnic.

Really nice location for a run. Pretty busy in the evenings with mostly runners and walkers. Really enjoyed there being a lack of the typical New York street vendors and sketchy people. Only saw one restroom in a 30 minutes walk.

One of my favorite places to go walking in the city! Especially beautiful at sunrise or sunset. Perfect spot in the summer to enjoy a picnic too! Tons of paths to explore, always leading you to something new. Definitely worth checking it out! 10/10.

Walking out on the pier at sunset offers spectacular views in all directions! It's especially beautiful on a late summer evening with a warm breeze. Before our walk to the end of the pier, we sat at one of the picnic tables and ordered drinks from Pier 1 Cafe. Great spot for relaxing, enjoying the sunshine and people-watching.

Such a nice, new, well-maintained, clean park. I hope it will stay that way, as they complete the final phase of the multi-part expansion!

Peaceful, spacious, pristine...and oh that coveted waterfront location! Riverside Park is such a category of one. The variety of walking paths, bikeways, piers, performance space, and fitness spaces. There is no better place to see the sunset. What a gift for all of us here in NYC.

A favorite walk, both for exercise and people watching, is to walk south in Riverside Park along the river to 59th street. The return trip is the western path through the apartments until 79tg street. One must be aware of runners, cyclists and scooter riders, but you have the river to gaze upon, and limited traffic noise.

Awesome new facilities. For families, young kids especially. Tons of swings and climbing areas. Two small dogs play areas one for large dogs and another for smaller pooches. Beach sand volleyball area too. Plenty of open space and seating for outdoor dining or just hanging out.
