Great green spot to relax, drink your coffee or eat your lunch - lots of seats

Nothing really significant about the place. It's a nice open area to sit (either on the grass or chairs). You get nice view of the pier and no one bothers you.

Great place to have lunch, read a book, or unwind with a nice cigar, also not as many kids around so it is more of an adult outdoor area which is nice for a change.

I just discovered this small park in the middle of the city. It is perfect to sit and read a book, there are plenty of places with shadow and although you can hear the construction workers and the traffic, you can also hear the birds, the wind and many animals.

This is definitely one of my favourite parks in New York City! The starting point for your highlight walk. The old tram station was transformed into the great art public place. Also, you can buy some arrows of local artists there.

This is a small but nice park by the river on the West Side Highway. There are basic tables and chairs scattered around a mid-size circular field of grass. There's a good view of the water and you can watch the sunset. It's not usually crowded so it's a nice stop on the high line.

Great oval park to relax and enjoy the sunlight. Also you get wifi that's a huge plus for me. Usually see people relax and eating their lunch. Overall great park to relax and chill.

While this small area is very nice, calling it a "Park" is a bit generous. It's a nice area to relax, have a coffee or meet up with friends, and it's right next to the Chelsea Market. An added bonus is that it's right near the Hudson, but it's very noisy as cars drive by on all sides.

I absolutely love this park! Do you know how hard it is to find a clean patch of grass to lie down on in the city?! Plus honestly the fact that the grass is dog free makes for the greenest most beautiful grass ever. This place my favorite Chelsea oasis.
