It’s not for me. My husband enjoys it and invited me to it (he goes to another Forward office though) I didn’t like many things like not knowing who exactly you’re chatting with, I felt contact with the dr was minimal, there was not any warmth in the chat as it felt mechanical so many times. They make sure to respond so fast but not necessarily with detailed and tailored reply. I like the concept behind it but think they still have a long way to go.

I've been a member of Forward for around two years. If you asked me about my impression in the beginning, I would have given them 5 stars. It was excellent. Baseline appointment was easy to book, my doctor had an incredible bedside manner, and I really enjoyed going there overall. This year, I don't know what is going on with them, but they make it next to impossible to even get an appointment with any doctor. If you have an issue you would like to talk to a doctor about in person, the app makes you jump through a ton of crazy hurdles which appear to be designed to avoid setting an appointment (while still taking your money). When I report symptoms I have to go through a lengthy pre-screen with the chat first. It usually boils down to: wait it out if it's not urgent, otherwise go to an ER. But just seeing one of their doctors is practically never an option - and it's like you really have to prove that what you're experiencing is a valid concern, but not a life-threatening emergency, and then they might consider sending you a scheduling card for an appointment - which the next available one might be a month or two out! I had been struggling with this leg pain which turned out to be sciatica, but it took me almost a month to find out, and by that point I was already on the mend. Why am I paying $150 a month for absolutely nothing? To have a chat assistant brush me off and tell me I can't see a doctor, or should go to the ER? I feel like for what we pay, they should be prioritizing direct patient care, but from what I can tell from both my own experiences is that they are prioritizing getting new members in the door to make more money. It's a shame, because I really liked the doctors I've actually been able to see there, when that was even possible.

I'm still waiting to get an appointment after signing up 2 months ago. Had a morning of cancellation. They tried giving me a last minute appointment but i wouldn't make it in time. The next appointment they offered was a month away 😳 so far it isn't worth the hassle and extra cost. They operate just like a regular doctor's office with limited availability. Had i seen this review before signing up, i would have thought twice. Don't waste your money. Stick with your regular insurance.

The sign up process was without flaws, however, it would have been appropiate to inform me during the signup process that my first appointment was a three week waiting period. Paying a monthly membership for services that are not available to you for that period of time is not right. I was billed the second payment a few days after the baseline visit. Overall the baseline visit was professional from the scan to the actual conversation with the doctor, who explained all of my test results and family medical history. All of my questions were answered. The environment is clean and sanitized so there were no fears of cross contamination.

My then wife and I had an appointment with the same doc on the same day re: weight loss. Within minutes, my ex was given metformin that lead to a 60+ lb weight loss. Me, with no pre-existing conditions? The diet and exercise talk - “just try harder!” I got choked up the other day, maybe I’d still be in a relationship if that doctor saw me as a person- I wouldn’t have struggled yet gained while she ate freely and lost lost lost. My therapist believes that this was all due to the doctor “not looking like me” - white doctors being the gatekeeper, their folks get the tricks and entry while us others get the “just try harder!” Lecture. He was kinda right, my new doc gave me metformin in minutes and, 30 lbs lighter, I just wish I didn’t actually have to pay extra to be treated as lesser.

Forward is an exceptional service for a busy professional. They are there for me night and day and work with me to get through the intricacies of insurance and Flexible Spending Account rules. There facilities are top notch. I always feel welcome and I never have to wait mor ethan a few minutes.

Genuinely useless. The only reason to come here is to check your vitals, actually check them several times because their imaging equipment is always broken and giving out incorrect readings. If you need any actual medical care you are referred to the ER. The doctors only perform a cursory conversation about your numbers and don't actually perform any semblance of a check up. They diagnose you as being wrong, without providing any actual diagnosis as to what the issue could be, other than "you're wrong." It's also impossible to cancel services, they simply say "someone will be in touch."

My virtual appointment was ghosted by the Doctor and they refuse to give me a refund. I got a note 45 minutes after my appointment was supposed to start that they had to reschedule based on un-forseen circumstances. Now it all just feels like a money scam FOLLOW UP: I can't seem to reply to you so posting this as a follow up. Your reply is performative and lacks what I am asking for - A REFUND FOR SERVICES NOT USED DUE TO GHOSTING ON YOUR END. You have no intention of helping me clearly since you just replied here for others to see as opposed to calling me

Amazing staff and I am lucky to have a great doctor. Very helpful overall. I do find it a bit annoying that sometimes it feels like I am talking to different people each time on the app, but love how I can arrange a call directly with my doctor while also seeing all of my records and the trends of my health. I've had them for over a year and several health issues and I felt they were integral to helping me navigate the complicated US health system.

Pretty legit. Really awesome and efficient service thorough, had a good conversation with the Dr about what everything means and she was able to talk about hardcore science in a way that I could understand. They are super responsive and are able to handle all the record transfer BS stuff for you which was a blessing for me. And if you need a prescription for something they can get it to you really fast. Expensive per month? Yeah. That’s why minus one star. The lengthy contract you can’t get out of is annoying but I want to stay anyway. It’s a pretty big investment and probably cost prohibitive to some people which I take issue with but also understand that hey how else are they going to keep the lights on? But I think it’s tax deductible or something. For someone who sees dr a lot, and needs a lot of help to get insulin and other things, it’s worth paying for the service of having someone help you figure out all the paperwork stuff at lightning speed. I really feel like I could trust the doctors and they are super super responsive so I love that.

I thought the visit was very professional and shared important information about my health. Also helped me to work at improving my health and taking care of all necessary visits to other doctors. I am very satisfied with the care and consideration I have received. Thank you for the great staff you chosen to work for Forward.

Stay far away. When you first go they send you to get blood work. I got this blood work 9 months ago and I am still getting billed for it. This is the responsibility of Forward to pay. Quest (where I got blood) has told me that Forward declined the bill and Forward claimed Quest messed up. They keep saying they will deal with it but I have now received a notice of delinquent account that will affect my credit. Stay far away or there is a chance you will fall into this to.

I absolutely loved my visit. Didn’t really know what to expect. I was really blown away at the process. Pretty brilliant to have the doctor be able to share the labs and info without having to take notes etc. as the assistant does all that from another room. And the time spent talking and explaining was much appreciated. I never felt rushed. Dr. Chen was awesome. All general health care should be for this way!

I am not a member but came acrossNot to gripe about a discount their web site months ago. My first reaction was to question how they could offer all the health services for only $150.00 per month.I then realized that they were featuring only a few doctors to cover two manhattan. locations. That should tell you that visits must be short and waits for appointments must be long. Not to gripe about a discount but why are they needing to offer a $75.00 special for the first 3 months? And why are they insisting on a 6 month comittment? Also notice that a few of the doctors that were shown on the website or no longer featured. Why? Did they issues with mgt or with the care they were allowed to give? I would also visit one of their clinics. If they refuse you should flee as quick as possible and not look back!

The chat communication on the app may have improved, but needs more time to be sure. One thing I'm looking for is they can handle more than one message at a time. After all, patients do get more than one concern at a time. I used to have to choose my battles with when using the chat, because if I sent two, one would get lost. So the next few times I have multiple messages, we'll see what happens.

I got sick and was able to schedule a visit for the next morning. The appointment began on time and the Doctor was very knowledgeable. The back office followed up with me a few days later to see how I was feeling. Overall a very positive experience.

I loved the availability of Forward and the technology to have all info on the app. Such an unusually pleasant experience in a medical environment.

I am new to Forward but I am very impressed already. Dr. Chen is great in understanding my results and focusing me on what needs attention. The entire Care Team is great at responding back to me quickly. These are all things I was looking for, and now satisfied that you deliver what you say. I look forward (no pun intended) to continuing

Good experience on site with healthcare staff and clean facilities. However if you have any issues and need to speak with someone the support team will not give you a call during agreed window but instead give fluff emails to kick can down the road rather than be helpful.

*Please read if you intend to work here.* Signed on with Forward as a Remote Care Coordinator in late July of 2022 and did not start until September because there were "internal issues." I waited it out to begin training because I had other streams of income but otherwise no one should be waiting 2 months to begin a part time job. I got the job with a one way interview so I never had just one person I could report to neither did I have a number to contact. The training is extensive and on your own. If I had any questions I could not contact any emails I had or use Slack. I was told to submit a google doc form. I had 2 meetings throughout training where an employee reviewed what I learned and how I navigated the Forward platform. Each time there weren't full tasks to complete to show the Operations team my performance. It was a very messy and unprofessional way to review an employee. I was told I was doing well and that someone would contact me to move forward in the training process. I was ghosted by the Operations employee after our second meeting without any explanation as to why she could not show up to our third one. I was emailed by a new person that my contract was terminated without any explanation. If I was on thin ice with this company they should've told me there was a probation period. Mind you I have never been fired by any employer and I have been working for 10+ years. Since there was a new person contacting me through each phase of this training there was no one to call no number to call. This company does not care nor respect their employees. Their culture is very "start-up" and disorganized. Just a heads up you do not want to invest your time with this company you will be disappointed, disrespected and even worse ghosted.

Staff was really helpful, same with my care team via chat & Dr. Guderian. They explained everything thoroughly and answered any questions that I had. Also looked into everything that can be looked into my health. I enjoy this holistic approach to my health and wellness. Looking forward to what’s next for Forward.

I absolutely love this service. When you take the insurance company out of it and it's just the provider and the patient, quality of care and customer service goes way up! Forward is extremely responsive whenever I send them a message, they get back to me right away. Their facilities are modern and spacious, as opposed to walk in clinics and most traditional insurance based doctors offices. Doctors here have great bedside manner, and aren't in a rush so they take the time to explain everything thoroughly and concisely. I only wish they made house calls!

😠 I’m 32. Been going here since I was 14. The lack of communication and professionalism is ridiculous. I was told I needed to have a surgical procedure done and that I needed to meet the provider.
