Doctors are fine but impossible to get prescriptions refilled or appointments scheduled because the front desk never picks up and often hangs up after putting patients on hold. After pharmacy sent multiple faxes for refill, I called 6 times and literally took off of work to go to office in person to request they respond. Still no refill or communication on why, absolutely unacceptable. PLEASE HIRE MORE FRONT DESK PEOPLE YOU NEED THEM!!!

There is a reason this practice gets a 2 star rating and it is accurate. The front desk is a mess and a lot of them are rude. It’s been two weeks since my test results were released and some of them came back flagged which you would think would make the doctor call me but no, I had to reach out to her. Then I get a call from the office asking if I want to schedule an appt to go over my results. Like an appt with a copay and charge to my insurance. Are they kidding?! I’ve NEVER in my life had to pay again or schedule an appt for my lab results!! So am I supposed to read my own lab work or use google to determine what’s going on? This is absurd. I’m so done with this office. It just gets worse and worse. I’m going elsewhere.

I am a long-time patient of this office. All the doctors and nurses here are wonderful. The problem is that the office itself feels like the DMV. And it’s made to feel that way in a couple of ways. First, there are signs taped everywhere for no reason about minor things… we’re talking multiple signs about flu symptoms, five signs about masks, etc. Basically, the office looks like a schizophrenic government bureaucrat’s fever dream. Second, the front desk staff sucks. They fall into two categories… they are either useless and lazy and make mistakes or they are overly conscientious to the point of seeming like school librarians and hall monitors. Also, what’s the point of having 3-5 front desk staff all buzzing around if customers have to check themselves in on an iPad? Maybe it’s just me, but I don’t like the DMV. I try to avoid it at all costs. It’s for this reason that I’m leaving this practice and joining One Medical.

Tried to set up an appointment here for a annual physical and the lady on the phone was so rude and unhelpful that I’m going with a different practice. They have a 2 star rating for a reason I’m sure, and that was my first red flag.

Honestly not sure about all the negative reviews - I've been here a couple times and have always had a good experience. I was seen a few minutes before my appointment, and the staff & doctor were all extremely professional and kind. The building is a bit outdated, but the actual office is well maintained and clean.

Mount Sinai are so arrogant, they litterly stopped working with most insurance companies, all they care about is money! Such a bad reputation

I hardly ever take the time to leave a bad review but this place is terrible. Do not go here. I was called by the office to have my appointment rescheduled twice because of various reasons, delaying me over a month from my original appointment. When i finally did get to have my appointment, I was told to check in on the ipads, which I did, and I gave the receptionist my name as well. I sat for an hour and watched every person that came in after me go in before the receptionist asked me for my name again. She then told me that the check-in application had glitched and I was never checked in. I informed them I had another appointment downtown I would need to leave for in an hour, and they said they would call the provider and get me back asap. I sat for another 20 minutes before I had to leave in order to not miss my other appointment too. So unprofessional.

I have never written a bad review before but after today unfortunately I feel as though I have to warn people about this office. I made an appointment 1.5 months ago to see Dr. Kahlon. When I arrived to the building location it was 2:32pm (my appointment was scheduled for 2:30pm) and I tried to buzz in for 5 minutes before anyone opened the door (this is a private building where you need to buzz the doctors office from outdoors before even being entered into the lobby). When I got upstairs to the doctors office it was 2:38pm and I was informed that Dr. Kahlon had left for the day... I asked how this was possible given that I had an appointment scheduled for over a month and they said it was because he had a 10-minute grace period policy. I informed them that it had not been 10 minutes and that I was not told about this grace period prior (the email confirmation does not state this). The front desk people were very polite and apologetic but gave no further explanation and let me know no other doctor could see me today. I asked if anyone had tried to call me as I'd literally confirmed earlier that day that I would be attending my appointment and they simply said "no". I will obviously never go back to this doctor and found this situation extremely bizarre and rude, especially knowing how long it takes to get a primary care appointment in NYC.

Dr. Kanos, OB-Gyn outstanding. Must be to continue to see for more than 25 years.

My husband and I have been coming here for several years and have seen various doctors - primary care, gastro, and gyn. The doctors have been thorough, attentive and professional. The desk staff has always scheduled appointments correctly and efficiently. I enjoy having access to my records in the My Mount Sinai portal. Yesterday, I went to CVS for a flu shot and was able to look up my last Tdap vaccine to see that I was due for that as well. When I bring my vaccine forms to the office, they'll scan them into my records. I know that people are more likely to complain than to praise. This office has done good work for me, so I'm adding an upvote.

Great Team of professionals running this office. I rarely wait to be seen and my Primary Care Physician is the best in the City. Dr Bagner knows I think the world of him. I have never been in a better care. It gives me tremendous peace of mind knowing how knowledgeable, attentive, and timely he is in making sure I get the best treatment when needed. Whether it is a Virtual Visit or in person, he will take care of you well.

Worse place ever. You call them, they just say we're going to pass the message and nothing happens. Ridiculous!!!!

Their website portal contains incorrect medical information; when I mentioned that to my doctor, she actually told me "it's not perfect." And its message feature gets responded to by people who don't read. Also the billing is awful, they don't listen, and they kept submitting the claim wrong. And as for the doctor -- I felt like a walking lab report. There was no human element. I left

Unresponsive; do not follow through on promises to help with prescription refills; do not follow up on calls; impossible to reach. I have been trying to get a refill for over 3 months. These people don’t care.

Very unprofessional. A group of workers gathered around the front desk, none of which offered assistance when I walked in, speaking loudly about their weekend, things that should not be heard in the workplace, at least not greeting you as you walk in. Not to mention, granted, I was 12 minutes late for my appointment and was told I would have to reschedule because the doctor is a stickler for on time appointments. Really?? Then why have me waiting 45 minutes past my appointment time before I’m seen? My time is also valuable. I can see why Dr. Cohen left this place. I thought I’d give it a try, because I’ve been coming here for over 15 years now, but this establishment has gone completely downhill.

Doctor is in so rush to conclude and send the patient out. Not much interested in answering patient like he knows the best without even asking what’s wrong. Billing customer support is so awesome that they don’t even know which patient visited where if you don’t know their own names out of multiple. It’s our responsibility to pay back for service, but can’t spend fricking hours trying to reach you. And you simply hang up calls???????

Doctor seems competent but the receptionist hung up on me while I was trying to understand how and when I should hear back from them. Very poor customer service/ if you’re in that much of a rush just hire more employees

The administration here is an absolute mess. I scheduled an appointment and they took all my information but it never went through the system. The office is dirty and old

I got a COVID test done here and still didn’t have the results a month later. I called them and the receptionist was extremely rude and unhelpful, she more or less hung up on me and told me she wasn’t able to look up my record. Very unprofessional, expensive, and I didn’t even get what I needed. I do not recommend

😠 Pay your copay to be put in an exam room and left there for 45 minutes even when you have an appointment! 😠 Horrible doctors visit. I went in for a sore throat and cough and other symptoms, they did not check my lungs with a stethoscope or ask to listen to my cough.
