It was a great experience, unlike another pain management office I went to recently. I did not have to wait long for my appointment and Dr. Kim spent some time with me and really listened. The trigger point shots with him were almost painless and I think he got all the areas. The front desk staff was very pleasant as well. Glad to have found them.

From the front office staff to the back office was amazing. I got there early, I waited about 5 mins they called me into a room, and the doctor came in very shortly after. He was very thorough, empathetic, took his time.

I went in for cervical pain and saw Dr. Dvoskin. He was very knowledgeable and friendly, and the staff was there to answer any questions I had and got back to me in a timely manner. They did everything they could to ease my pain and I would definitely recommend them to anybody in the area. They were consistent about follow up appointments and had plenty of ability for fast scheduling.

Dr Joseph Kim has not only taken over for my previous Doctor at this practice who was EXCEPTIONAL in his own right, but also Dr Kim has been very caring & extremely helpful with my present pain management needs. Pain Mngt is not a perfect field of medicine but the combo of Dr Elbaz, & Dr Kim plus new doctors who do procedures as well , next door at their attached Hudson Surgery Center so they should be able to help you get some answers & some relief like I did again today.. thanks Dr Kim!!!

This is an excellent place to go if you need qualified doctors for pain management. Ask them what your options are. I was in a horrid car accident in my teens. 7 herniated discs and chronic pain. They provide cortisone shots which are miraculous for me. My insurance covers four per year. Dr. Elbaz and Dr. Kim are excellent!!

One of the best experience I had as far as going to a doctor’s office. Dr. Elbaz was very professional and great with explaining my situation. He had answered all my questions with details. Looking forward to my next appointment.

I underwent a new procedure in my back using my own blood, and the results were incredible. I feel no back pain now and can finally lead the active lifestyle I am used to. Huge thank you to the doctor and his team for making this happen!

Came here to seek treatment for pain after a car accident. Dr. Dvoskin was very understanding and helpful. He recommended different therapies including shockwave that I feel made a tremendous difference for my back and neck pain. Definitely recommend .

Eh…came here to get a second opinion about my mother’s pain and she was told to exercise. Gee, thanks? no treatment. She went in with severe pain and came out with severe pain. Feeling disappointed because this place advertises as having advanced technology and the best place for pain management when it’s the same thing as anywhere else.

They jumped right in at my 1st appointment rather than scheduling me to come back at a later date, which was very much appreciated considering the level of pain I was in when I arrived. I was impressed by their thoroughness and onsite cutting edge technology because the details are so extremely important. I’m grateful to be cared for by Pain Physicians NY. I finally felt heard and taken care of.

Professional staff w a Fantastic Dr. Who went over and above to help the process went smoothly. But he got my old MRI and wrote me a referral for a new MRI. All without all the medication. Just injection 💉 for me.

I was impressed by the professional efficiency and kindness of the staff. My wait time was short. Everyone was knowledgeable, professional and kind. The doctor took the time to ask questions and really examine the issue at hand. We discussed several treatment options. I was impressed overall.

Dr. Dvoskin is great to work with. This was my 3rd visit. He clearly explains everything, then presents some solutions. He doesn’t pressure you into anything, just wants you to understand what’s happening. All assistants that has helped out has also been great to work with. Solid team. Most pleasant medical treatment experience.

Dr. D is excellent he has helped me since the beginning of my accident to heal and get better I would recommend him and the whole Pain Management staff to everyone. Great Staff and Doctors, I couldn’t of chosen a better place to get treatment.

I went to Pain Management after so many years of having chronic pain in my right shoulder blade and neck. After years of trying chiropractors, massage therapy, accupuncture, nothing resolved my chronic problem. I had an MRI done after their suggestion and the dr saw that I needed to have the nerves in my neck treated for the shoulder blade issue. Plus he did trigger point injections. After 3 visits, my issues were so much better that I had to post this review. Highly recommend this team!!!

These guys are THE BEST! Ive been In Pain for two years because of a car accident. No other dr has been able to help me. These guys have - taken the constant pain away. I’ve been for a few visits . It wasn’t “one and done”. It’s been what I consider a miracle after suffering in constant pain and limited movement/ range of motion for as I said TWO YEARS. I was starting to believe that I was going to have to live with the condition for the rest of my life unless I would undergo major surgery. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND giving them a visit if you are in chronic pain due to an injury.

I am so thankful to this pain management doctor and his staff! He performed a lumbar discectomy for me and the job was done flawlessly. He left no scars on my back and I was able to come back to my normal schedule the next day. So happy with my experience!

The reception staff is kind to you from the moment you enter the buildings. The nursing staff is informative and wonderful. This office came highly recommended, and they did not disappoint. They performed lumbar discectomy and it was virtually painless. No scars. Very grateful to have gone here for my pain management, can recommend them.

I have had the best experience, they are the best pain doctors, I recommend them to everyone.

This facility went from a rating of 10+ to a 3 in less than 6 months. I went from trusting them implicitly with my healthcare to having 0% trust in their ability to be compassionate, reliable, consistent, and to follow-up with important matters pertaining to my health. During the past 2-3 months, I've observed that they overbook appointments which has inevitably led to being rushed through an appointment. On at least 3 occasions, the doctor and/or medical personnel was in such a rush to get to the next appointment that I had to remind them of the reason for the appointment as they were leaving the room! And in less than 5 minutes of every appointment, at least 3 personnel will come in and interrupt. During my most recent visit I reminded the front desk that a treatment I came in for wasn't performed. They rambled on and on making excuses before suggesting that I make another appointment. During this visit, a tall gentleman in blue scrubs, who has never seen me as a patient smugly chimed into a private conversation I was having with the front desk regarding my healthcare - advising them that I don't need a particular treatment. He's not on my care team, and he was rude and arrogant. In addition, the front desk involving him in the conversation without my consent was a violation of my HIPAA rights. The lack of accountability is appalling and passing the buck seems to have become their modus operandi. Recently I discovered that an (insurance pending) important surgery which could greatly improve my quality of life - was in fact approved a month ago! I never received a call, a text, a letter - although I've called the office multiple times to ask for the status. The Front Desk blamed it on the office manager and a couple of others, and then promised that someone would follow-up with me to put me on the surgical schedule... Several days later and I'm still waiting for that call. Adjusting to a life in which I am constantly in excruciating pain is difficult enough. I'm disturbed and saddened by the lack of compassion I've experienced from Pain Physicians NYC's during the past few months. My injuries are serious and I do not appreciate conduct that is jeopardizing to my health.
