I stumbled upon this incredible viewpoint by chance, and it's conveniently located very close to where the Statue of Liberty ferry departs. This makes it a perfect addition to your itinerary, whether you visit it before or after your trip to Liberty Island. It's a mere 15-minute walk from Battery Park, so it's easily accessible. The viewpoint offers a stunning setting with places to sit, chat, and even enjoy a meal. There are plenty of great dining options nearby, and the prices are quite reasonable. It's worth every penny just for the view. What sets this place apart is the incredible view it offers of the Brooklyn Bridge. It's a breathtaking sight, especially during sunrise, which is absolutely stunning from this location. I personally visited both in the morning and at night. What I appreciated most is the tranquility of the place. It's not as crowded as the Brooklyn Bridge walkway usually is, providing ample spots to simply sit and savor the view. It's a must-visit location, and the best part is that it won't cost you a dime. You can take a break here before your next adventure in New York. I wholeheartedly recommend it!

This is one of my favorites places at any time of the day, it always has friendly people, gorgeous views all day long and 360 degrees from the rooftop. Every month or season they have from concerts to ice skating, etc.. just love this place a lot. Great to take a walk, sit down at night, watch the sunrise or sunset, it has enough space to work out by the water, and lovely restaurants. I can truly go on forever! Edit: I just added the 2021 Doggie Halloween party at the pier! Cutest thing ever

Beautiful view of the Brooklyn Bridge from Pier 17. Docked boats were nice to look at. The line for the pumpkin arch took about 2 hours but it was beautiful to take photos with.

Great experience and very family friendly. I went to Pier 17 when they had the pumpkin arch for the Halloween season. It was beautiful as always. But this year I like the shape a lot more. Families, couples as well as single individuals all took pictures near the arch. Everyone for the most part was very nice and got along random strangers took pictures of other people for them. It was a very cheery holiday experience. And the view was spectacular. There was no fee for taking the photos. The lights came on in the evening time around the arch. And there's lots of seating area if you just want to chill and relax afterwards as well as restaurants. There's also a really nice view of the roof if you go up the escalators. P.S. If you need a good selfie the lighting on the escalators are amazing.

This place is a whole summer vibe, especially with glass installations. Highly recommend it! The amazing east river breeze, views of Brooklyn and bridge, restaurants and the bars looked very nice too. Go whole season lasts

If it weren't blustering outside it would have been FANTASTIC! There is a fish monger, fruit stand, bakery and other cute shops. You can go to the rooftop for a killer view of the Brooklyn Bridge. It was stunning. I'd love to return in the spring g or fall.

Great place to visit. The views are outstanding! Many benches and steps to sit and admire the view in a quiet environment. The city views and Brooklyn Bridge is breathtaking.

Review for their Winter Wonderland 2023: Lovely views with backdrops of the lower manhattan skyline and the brooklyn bridge. Cool concept for those looking to snap some great photos. I went on a Thursday early evening and it was surprisingly empty. The Fulton Street train stations are fairly close...within a few blocks. Once at the seaport, follow the signs and take the maulitple escalators to the rooftop area. The current prices for general admission tickets, after fees are about $20-25 per person...which in my opinion is a bit expensive for what you get: access to the space which inlcudes lots of photo ops, lovely decor, a giant slide and a (pretty bad) cup of hot chocolate. I have to say that the decorations throughout the space are well done...main tree area with a skyline backdrop, large Santa's sleigh with a brooklyn bridge backdrop, christmas hallway, the Santa Clase area (Santapolis and Letters to Santa) and Ice Cave. There is "ice" skating available within a small rink surrounding the christmas tree. It is about $20 per person to skate on the synthetic rink...seemed like fun for those who were skating but it is smaller so may not be as enjoyable on the crowded days. There are also some VIP packages which include food...I can't comment on that as I only opted for the general admission ticket. Food, snacks and drink are also available for purchase on site. Overal it was fun to see, explore and take photos but I can see how this could get expesive for larger families. I think general admission prices ranging from $12-15 would be more appropriate, especially given the number of lovely decorated areas in and around the NYC area people could access for free. All staff there were very nice...which is always good for a holiday-themed attraction.

Very nice and modern set up for gathering of friends and for watching a mid-size concert event in an open air roof top in the city that overlook the sky scraper of the financial district and the two nyc bridges at the same time. That's the advantage of strategically located at the tip of the island.

A lovely evening spent at the seaport. Dinner at Watermark (a bit touristy, but still New York edgy, dessert at drinks at The Fulton, and a lovely stroll around the waterfront to absorb it all. New York City after covid is better than ever. It felt good to be a tourist in my hometown.

The view from the top of Pier 17 is phenomenal. Very clean venue with excellent staff. Be prepared to spend $8 for a water. Drinks are very expensive as well. But they are served quickly and it's Manhattan so 🤷.

Was able to get online to take the cruise over to see the Statue of Liberty. Lots of space info k. A restaurant near the line. The sign for the restaurant encourages you to order a drink before cruising . You can purchase ride tickets and shop right here.

Saw Shakey Graves and Lucius here! It was a really beautiful experience! The views were spectacular and the venue was nice. Drinks were pretty pricey but I guess that's to be expected.

You can skate for free at the Seaport ice rink if you have your own skates. Just need to make reservations for your time slot. Skate rentals available for a fee, varying from $20.00-$35.00. Also my first visit inside the Tin Building by Jean-Georges. It's beautiful inside with many eateries! Definitely worth a visit if you're nearby! Got a great apple ginger croissant at the bakery!

A cool place to walk around especially at night. We went to this area to grab dinner at Momofuku. There are a lot of eateries around, and the lights are very pretty to look when it gets dark!

I love this venue. The views are stunning and the sound is excellent. The Grey Goose Lounge is comfortable for old people like me who can only dance for so long these days--plus they have lovely mixed drinks. The surrounding area is full of people watching and beautiful scenery, too--just a generally vibrant area, with awesome food available at the Tin Building and in the event space. I will prioritize seeing concerts here.

Beautiful buildings, great eateries but they lack popular shopping stores that attracted the masses of old and the musical performances. Developers missed the mark. This was a place to socialize. Now it's a fancy eatery and deserted with amazing views. Sequoias had views, food and latin nights dancing with artists like Marc Anthony-- before he became famous on the weekends. This new space is colder and empty. We need spaces to dance and enjoy. For adults and children alike.

Amazing venue Views of East River and Hudson River with vistas of Brooklyn and Manhattan plus the iconic Brooklyn and Manhattan bridges it's totally awesome. Add to that the musical skills of Greensky Bluegrass only one word suffices Magical. Absolutely privileged to be part of that evening.

If you are nearby, this place is definitely worth the visit. You can skate absolutely free of charge in the ice rink as long as you have your own skates. All you need to do is make reservations ahead of time for your time slot. Furthermore, skate rentals are also available for a fee varying from $20 to $35. If you are a photo taker, you will absolutely appreciate and enjoy the view of the city, Brooklyn and Manhattan bridges, especially night time. It's absolutely breathtaking. When it comes to food, there are plenty of restaurants and small eateries to shop from but a bit expensive. The Tin Building by Jean Georges is a must-visit and if by any chance you're visiting during summer time, don't miss the roof of Pier 17 where lovely concerts take place. This is one of my favorite places to go to.

Amazing venue. While you do have to go up many escalator flights just to get to the rooftop, the view is absolutely worth it. The bar was decent and drinks weren't too overpriced. Whoever did sound engineering did an amazing job as this was one of the best sounding concerts I've ever been to.

Awesome venue in NYC! What a great place to see a concert! The only problem was that they had to stick with a curfew so the concert was over by 10pm. The views and the sunset were well worth it and there was not a bad place to stand in the entire place! Would definitely go back!

It's one of my favorite places to go for photos and walks, as a fidi resident. It gets a little windy for photos, but the area has nice backdrops such as Brooklyn Bridge as well as the Manhattan Bridge. Over the summer, concerts take place on the roof top of pier 17. It's a pretty cute venue with a nice skyline. There is enough food to eat, but most restaurants can be a bit costly!

I’ve been to event centers and venues all over New York City for years, and recently had the opportunity to go to Pier 17. I was definitely surprised, this is a amazing venue and I hope to see a lot more events here in the future. Don’t bother grabbing food before you come, there are plenty of cool places to eat in the ground level. Absolutely love the view of the city and the Brooklyn bridge. It’s also nice that this is outside because it doesn’t get too hot and it doesn’t get Smokey if people start to smoke. If you’re into visiting different venues and cool places, definitely put Pier 17 on your list.

Very nice spot to look at the skyline and Brooklyn bridge. Easy to take nice pictures and seating options right by the river to just enjoy the view.

A very pretty location that’s very nice in the day and night. Came here for a Tate McRae concert and will definitely say, it was a great experience!! The acoustics was very nice and the bar at side wasn’t crowded, the Frosé was delicious and the nuggets smelled AMAZING!! You can come recall early to get a closer view; if you can’t make it that early, the screens are also very clear and the cameramen are great at focusing! Also loved the breeze, was so refreshing!
