Amazing trip ! Amazing tour! Thank you Mike. We were 6 people (3 couples) on the boat, very luxurious very private and intimate. The captain explained everything touristic to us, the history, the location etc. He stopped at several locations to make photos, and he himself made the photos for each couple with everyone’s own phone or camera. That was very sweet. We got fantastic views and perfect trip. 10 stars from us. Recommend to everyone. It’s worth $ the money. Plus, the owner was very accommodating, we were almost late for our 13:30 tour so we called from taxi and he said he would wait for us. Luckily we were on time. Thank you for that indeed !

This was so amazing and informative 👏 ❤️ boat ride. It was nice private ride with my husband ND I. I would definitely recommend and do this again. So glad that I didn't book anywhere else. The sight seeing is to die for. Coming from out east Long Island 1 hr drive 🚗 and we'll worth it for the service and views and friendly accommodating staff. We are in "Awe". My girlfriend and I had such a great time on this cruise! Our captain Chris was so knowledgeable and friendly. He had so many facts about NYC that I never knew. I enjoyed the cruising, the views, the information, and a nice glass of wine while listening to my favorite music. It was a really special night for both of us and I would highly recommend this cruise for anyone who wants to have a unique NYC experience on the water. THANKS CHRIS!!!

We experienced for the first time a two hours tour in the Hudson River NY, for the first time, in a private charter from Nybythesea. The tour was delightful and ( ♥ ͜ʖ ͡♥) mike was a perfect host. Thank you. We learned a lot about the city and had a really great time. To do again without hesitations!

We went to New York looking for a family activity that could show our young kids some of their favorite landmarks and this was it. Mike welcomed us to his boat and took special care of our two young kids my wife and I and we had a blast. We definitely recommend this experience to anyone who is looking for a one of a kind tour of the Hudson River and the landmarks in it.

NYCbySEA was the BEST cruise!! My husband and I boat in every trip destination we take... seeing NYC by boat was a experience we will never forget. Although foggy, the weather was great and our guide Chris was so knowledgeable and fun. Truly a treat on the NYCbySEA!!!! What a fabulous way to see some of the famous landmarks of New York City. We booked at very short notice, managing to get a private 2 hour cruise with my wife and teenage son. We met our Captain Will at the marina, who then sailed us up the Hudson and East rivers, pointing out various landmarks, and stopping to take photos along the way. Awesome experience and views! Mike from NYCbySEA really made it an amazing time for us! He took us to the most amazing spots around NYC and even captured amazing pictures of us with the beautiful background. We were able to bring food and drinks on the boat and had a very nice and relaxing time while we got to see all the amazing sights and landmarks of NYC from the water! Would highly recommend for anyone looking to get out on the water and enjoy the beautiful views and weather!

I booked a private sunset charter for my husband's 30th birthday. I wanted a special experience for his milestone birthday and came across NYCbySEA on Google. Mike was absolutely amazing throughout the process - right from the communication prior to booking where he answered all the questions I had, to his very gracious cancellation policy and accommodations in case of weather changes, and his directions the day of (it's near a mall so it is convenient to use the restroom prior to getting on the boat). And ofc, the experience itself - what an incredible way to see NYC! It wasn't our first time visiting the city but it was certainly the most unique perspective. And we were blessed with clear skies and a gorgeous sunset - looked stunning. Mike gave us very interesting history facts about various buildings, took photos (he knew the good spots for a photo op) and checked in to make sure everything was going well. There was also music playing which set a really nice vibe. Overall, this was a special, unique experience - and my husband said it was his favourite part of the birthday trip :) Thanks Mike!

We scheduled a sunset tour on Aug 26, 2023 with Mike, who was highly responsive and who was easy to work with and flexible to accommodate our schedule that evening . It was a beautiful evening with Will, our captain. He was engaging and took some awesome photos of our family throughout the 1 hour tour. The boat ride was smooth and he got us back safely. We enjoyed this tour very much and would highly recommend it.

Mike, Thank you so much for hosting us! We'd spend every NYC sunset on your beautiful boat if we could! Compared to the many touristy companies in the city, NYCbySEA is very much a hidden gem. Boat tours are reasonably priced, bespoke in terms of time and route, flexible for weather, and truly a magical experience. Mike made planning and booking seamless, provided clear day-of instructions, met us right on time, showed us all the best views on the water, and even poured our wine and took awesome photos. This was truly an amazing experience! The views were incredible. Captain Will was entertaining and did a great job sharing the history of sights we’ve seen many times but didn’t know had such interesting histories. The boat was beautiful! Super comfy seats and no competition to get a great spot. Loved it- will definitely do this again next time we visit!

We did a two hour private cruise with Captain Mike for my husband's birthday last night and it was terrific. His pre-trip communication was excellent. My 20/22 year old kids loved the trip too. Got great photos! Brought our own snacks and drinks. Mike shared interesting facts, history, and current hot spots - a good balance between him talking and letting us chat. A perfect evening! This was truly a 5 star experience from start to finish. Our captain was Mike and he was extremely kind and accommodating. He gave us a great tour and also made sure we had amazing photo opportunities!! We had our 6 year old daughter with us and he also made sure she had a great time. Cannot recommend this tour highly enough!

I book a private charter yatcht with Mike, who was responsive and easy to work with. It was a beautiful afternoon with my cousin, our captain was actually Mike as well. He was engaging and took some beautiful photos of us. The boat ride was smooth he even was an awesome tour guide. We enjoyed this tour very much and would highly recommend !!!!

We had the greatest time. Our host Mike, was a great communicator for finding him and the boat. (Really wonderful location, you can grab lunch or dinner at one of the restaurants nearby too) He took us all over. He offered us bits of history & info, as we asked. He was really nice and just made the trip really enjoyable. When we return to NYC, we are definitely going to want him to take us out on his boat again. Highly recommend!
