Best Thai food ever! This spot is truly the best Thai food I’ve ever had in my life! The lunch special was priced between $16-20 - unbelievable pricing for the sheer quality of this place! We tried one of the green curries and pad see ew… both were mouthwatering. Unbelievably good and definitely the best I’ve had of both dishes. This is a must-do for any fans of Thai food in town or visiting… don’t miss out! Kuddos to the very attentive staff and the speedy service. Incredible meal!

The food was decent but nowhere near the hype. Overall, the food tastes bland. The lack of flavors and spices made them friendlier to average diners but plain boring. Tom yum wings are a bit stale and crab fried rice was mediocre fried rice topped with boiled crab meat. The grilled Bronzino was okay with the dipping sauce. Service was inattentive and tips are calculated based on post tip prices. Maybe caught them on a busy off night but really disappointing experience given the expectation.

The food was good, Thai iced tea was very authentic, appertizers were great. The entrees were a little salty and spicy. But portions were good. They didn't mess up until the service. They ran the bill and I found out they didn't run my bill but another table's bill. I informed the server and they went to sort it out and I told them it was a couple dollars off (we had a more expensive bill) the manager or whoever the person told me initially don't worry about it. I was really impressed (that means the tip would be about 5 dollars short). Then they ended up sending the server to chase the bill void the whole transaction and ask me to redo. Then I was really not impressed with their service. They could be more detailed oriented and definitely need improvement on service.

Get the Thai Crepe dumplings. Doesn't matter what else you get just get these purple bombs of sunshine. Can't really go wrong with anything on the menu. Cocktails are also great. Can be a bit crowded but that is expected in NYC.

Love love love. Food came out so fast. Good ambiance. Excellent Thai food. I haven’t found better in the city yet. Maybe one place in Astoria but their curry here is outstanding. My favorite is the red curry with tofu and veg. I tried the mock duck on it recently but wasn’t into it. I also like to get the thai salad as a starter because their peanut sauce is incredible. Highly recommend this place. The spicy tequila drink is also very good. Note: if you are a walk in expect to wait a little for prime time dinner even during the week.

Intense, rich and aromatic pretty much sum up the amazing flavour of this hip Thai restaurant in midtown Manhattan. The Thai bouillabaise (vermicelli in seafood broth) is extremely addictive. I also love their pandan chicken appetizer. Service was wonderful. Will definitely come back.

Sala Thai is a great restaurant serving some good Thai cuisine. The place is little compact, but it is pretty with some nice decor. The food is definitely on the pricey side when compared to the food quantity. Some good vegetarian options to choose from too. I loved my red Thai curry -absolutely delicious

Found this nice Thai place after visiting the Beacon Theatre for a show. The food was amazing and it is served dry quickly from the time you place your order. It’s quite busy and would recommend making a reservation.

Food is not hot in such cold weather (first snow in 2024). Some are even kinda cold. We ordered crispy duck but the duck is not crispy at all and too oily. Space is tiny and it’s crowded like most New York restaurants. Service is good. In general, it’s an okay Thai restaurant.

Sala Thai always delivers! delicious food and excellent service. I’ve been here multiple times and it never disappoints. Grab the wings if you get a chance. Beck was our server and he was great! Very personable. The food is always delivered in in a timely manner, even when the restaurant is packed. Run don’t walk to Sala Thai!!

The atmosphere and vibe inside was very cozy and welcoming. The waiter who served us was extremely kind and attentive, which made the experience here better. I ordered the Pad Thai and Pineapple Fried Rice w/ squid which was sooo good!! The squid was so soft and fresh! Definitely will be back here again!

The duck in Thai sauce was amazing and the waiter recommended the duck that many people ordered. Super delicious. The skin was fatty, the meat was tender, and the sauce was so rich, it was amazing! There was a lot of eggplant at the bottom. And the coconut ice cream sticky rice dessert was also a hit.

Me and girlfriend Really enjoyed this restaurant. Service was great drinks were fabulous and the food was delicious. We sat by the bar. I had a glass of wine and she had a passion fruit mojito. Food wise we had the pineapple rice, Kao Kha Moo( pork belly sweet/spicy broth) and spring rolls for appetizers, we had 1 more entrée but can't remember the name of it. Overall thank you , will definitely come again.

Thai restaurant in the upper west side. This place has really nice interior design: the tables are marble, the walls are wood-boarded with designs, neat paintings/wall art, etc. there’s also glass “walls” in between tables which provides a bit of privacy (and covid protection ig). Really great ambience! Prices are also reasonable for the food and area. The Thai iced tea was standard and what you expect, nothing extravagant except it was served in a pineapple glass. The drunken noodles were also pretty good. Big props on the tofu, cooked nicely and thoroughly. The spice levels are Asian spice not white spice! Be cautious when ordering — medium was a little too much for me and I usually eat spicy foods.

This was my first visit to the restaurant, but I absolutely loved it. It was easy to get a table because we made reservations (the same day). The prompt service, amazing food and the price point is just amazing. Will be back again very very soon. We ordered Pad kee maw, fried calamari and panag curry. Portion is great and more than sufficient for 2 prople.

Everything was delicious! Dumplings were excellent. Chicken Satay appetizer was juicy, not dry like most other Thai restaurants. They were extremely busy but staff were always friendly. Highly recommend. Can’t wait to go back.

This was the first time I had Thai food. My two Philippino friends booked this place and I was excited to go. The interior of the restaurant is really nice and it takes you into a journey of the Thai culture. We sat all the way in the back. Although I opened the menu, I asked my friends to decide what we are eating. None of us have any allergies so this made the choices even easier. The only thing we wanted to avoid was the chili plates. After we let our server know about this we were ready to place our order. 3 Thai iced teas, corn soups, Thai rolls, duck tamarind, crispy pork belly (not chili version), fried branzino, two sides of rice and the Thai crepe dumplings for the end. The food was delicious! We really enjoyed every single bite. Every plate was full of flavors and spices without losing its taste. The service was exceptional. Our server was on top of his game. Very kind, smiley and attentive. Good job guys!

Fantastic restaurant in every way. The wait staff was thoughtful, attentive, and so kind. The atmosphere was warm and relaxing. The food was excellent. We had the pandan leave chicken appetizer, pad kee mow, and a seasonal, diced basil chicken dish. Everything tasted delicious. Would highly recommend this spot.

Favorite Thai Food in NYC after 9 years here! Every dish has incredible flavor profile. And amazing service - thank you BECK! <3 Short Rib Panang Curry Soft shell crab ANY curry Crispy Pork Belly

Every dish was great, even if it wasn’t to my taste. The pandan chicken was amazing, if a little small for the price. I saw the photos online, and I was worried that the noodles and rice looked a little ovecooked/soft —they were perfectly cooked! It’s just because they are pressed into a bowl shape, that makes them look like that on the outside.

My 3rd visit here. Food is always good and feels fresh and authentic. Service is good and they have a friendly staff. The outside seating is nice while the inside is relatively cramped and noisy. We were a party of 6 and it wasn't very comfortable for a night out. Prices are very reasonable and almost on the cheap side for a NYC restaurant. Would highly recommend for a good Thai restaurant.

Great crab vermicelli and braised duck dish! Lots of food for the money and unbeatable taste. Our seats were also in the corner, very cozy. 11/10 would recommend

The decor, food and service at this place is amazing. The layout is a little bit cramped and tight and can be a little bit uncomfortable. I got the Kea Mao with crispy duck, absolutely delicious.

Excellent service with incredible atmosphere. When we arrived, folks helped us up the stairs with our stroller and found a table that would fit the stroller. They were very knowledgeable and helpful determining what to choose. The service was lightning fast but did not feel rushed and the food tasted better than all other Thai places I have been. We were lucky to have stumbled upon this spot

This restaurant actually is quite beautiful on the inside. Definitely well decorated with a beautiful interior. The food was great. I ordered eggplant basil and chicken pad Thai. They put in some spicy 🔥 peppers which gave a kick but was not over powering! Beautiful bar as well.
