This is definitely my favorite place to get my nails done, they have an amazing selection of colors and chrome powders, plus everything they use is great quality. I had the best experience with Mayra, she was very sweet and extremely talented.

Best lash lift I’ve ever gotten was from here! They did such a great job and the lift lasted for over 6 weeks. Everyone was super nice. Highly recommend :)

This place is clean and bright and hygienic. Most importantly, all of the aestheticians here are super friendly and extremely well-trained and attentive! Kaya and Shanti and Runia have all been great in my experience. Also, don’t sleep on the fact that they do men’s grooming as well as they do women’s! They have a great attention to detail and if you meet their owner you’ll see why.

Athena’s beauty is the best. Andrea does my lashes and she does an incredible job every time. They last longer than other places I’ve gone to and they’re priced lower than any other lash place I’ve tried in Manhattan. I like the place, the people are skilled and professional. However, I feel it’s my responsibility to let people to know my experience after getting lash extensions there about four or five times. Two times, right after I got the extensions, I got eye infections. Both times I had to see a doctor and get prescription medicine. I told the salon about it the first time, and I also told them about it the second time. They acted caring in conversation, but did nothing, did not follow up to find out how I was doing or suggest what could’ve caused the infection. I have had lash extensions at other salons without any reaction. The second time (about 10 days ago) was particularly difficult.. My eyelids got swollen, red and itchy. It looked like I had styes in both eyes. I just started a new job and it was very embarrassing for me at my office and at social gatherings. I saw a doctor again and they sent me to a specialist (Had to take time off work.) and then was prescribed a very pricey topical medicine to use for seven days. I have just started the medicine and I hope it’s going to clear up the infection. I’m not sure if the problem was caused by the glue, something not clean, etc. It’s also possible that the adhesive under eye tape and pads were placed too close to (touching) my eye. I really like the salon, but I’m afraid to go back there and risk getting more infections.
