I had a 3:30 appointment arrived at 2:50 as directed by the abundance of txt messages to arrive early for paperwork, not a problem I prefer to arrive early to avoid any form of misunderstanding or discrepancies. I was soon after directed to the back of the office to change it’s unfortunately 3:40 a staff member explains there is a delay of about 30 minutes which I state “ why wait for the change of garments and not inform the patient you are running late since 2:50( more waste of time) I attempt to maintain my composure because this is the second incident of running late without significant reason. I say that because I watch techs laughing, walking around aimlessly or conversing with staff while rooms are empty .. equipment unmanned and patients waiting which is sad. When I address K.Morales (office manager or acting manager) the level of empathy and or sympathy regarding the situation was lack luster at best. When confronted about the issue the least that could have been done is verify with the techs with a best case approximation of time and a realistic outlook of what would occur to afford the patient a better understanding of there time. I received a lack luster attitude with an unrealistic authoritarian demeanor which has no place in an office providing a service. If you hate your job or can’t communicate efficiently or effectively workforce 1 isn’t far from Jamaica Ave it’s located on the second floor next to DMV..

Asia at the Jamaica Office front desk Radiology suite is the sweetest and most professional person that I have encountered at this Advantage Care physicians in Jamaica Estates. I have been attending this location for many years over 30 and have never seen anyone handle people with patience and professionalism the way that she does. Front desk staff will make or break your business!

Absolutely terrible. I went for the first time completely nervous bc I have health concerns & the NP/Tech who examined me had a terrible attitude. She didn’t walk me through what the procedure would be and instead barked instructions to me as if I should already know what to do. When the ultrasound was presumably over she went to her desk in the corner of the room and didn’t say I could get dress so I wasn’t sure if she was finish with me. She turned around after 2 minutes and said “you could wipe yourself off im not going to look” extremely sharply and there was no curtain for privacy. If she stepped out for me to get undressed I’m not sure why she wouldn’t step out for me to get dressed again. I put on my clothes and waited for her to tell me post-instructions or conclusions as any appointment would go and after a few more minutes of silence she snapped at me and said “You can go.” I was shocked and said “I wasn’t sure if I could. I was waiting for instructions.” She annoyingly said “I’m going to write my results and send it to your primary care in 3-5 business days.” She didn’t talk me through what she saw, didn’t say if I should be concerned and literally was nasty from beginning to end. I would never book an appointment at this location again.

I went to Lenox Hill Radiology Jamaica Estates location yesterday. The facility is nicely maintained and clean. However, I had a terrible experience. I was going for an MRI with contrast. I was told to drink 2 1/2 bottles of a special drink that they provided. Then, I was taken to put an IV. Before I even showed my arm to the nurse, She said "I hope I could get your veins. Do you have difficult veins?" I said "No, I have never had any problems." She then asked me where is the bottle of the medicine aforementioned. I told her that I drank it. She said "No, you needed to drink the last 1/2 a bottle here." I then told her that no one had told me that. She responded by saying "Forget it, we could still do the IV with you drinking only 2 1/2 bottles." She then proceeded to try and put the IV in my arm, but said my vein blew. She then contacted a doctor due to her inability to set up the IV. The doctor came in and told me that I have small veins. Again, let me reiterate that I have never had any issues with my veins. Then, he couldn't do it either. They both told me that I was dehydrated. The nurse asked me if I drank water today. I said no due to me previously being instructed not to drink or eat four hours before the procedure. The doctor and the nurse both instructed me to go to the hospital or to another Lenox Hill facility. They rescheduled me to come back to this facility another day. Why in my right mind would I want to go back there again? I've gone to other Lenox Hill facilities, and I've had no problems there. So, I will be going to another Lenox Hill facility or NYU Langone (as they've also done it before and with no problems. On the first try I might add). The office manager was extremely caring. She called me an Uber ride home, since it was blatantly apparent that I wasted my time and had to take medicine for no reason.

Great experience! I was seen earlier than my appointment time. Front desk and tech were great. Only thing I didn’t like is that they ask you to upload your ID, insurance card and referral on the their site but then ask you for it again when you come in.

Everyone was very helpful. Even the security guard was helpful. I was seen earlier than my appointment time, although I was very skeptical they would see me . Thanks for such a wonderful experience.

The front desk staff are the laziest, most incompetent, uncaring people we have encountered at any medical facility. Do not make the mistake of expecting decent service from Lenox Hill Radiology.

The front desk staff was nice but can’t say the same for the technician performing the ultrasound’s in the back. I didn’t get her name because she didn’t introduce herself but instead complained about how she wouldn’t have taken anymore patients if I wasn’t waiting there. She was also unprofessional and rude as she was performing my thyroid ultrasound wouldn’t want to go to her again!

The nurses at this place are so rude. We had an appointment and arrived 10 minutes before the appointment and they refused to see my mother. But when we have an appointment and they keep us waiting for 1-2 hours that’s okay? As if we don’t have jobs to get to. But we were 10 minutes early instead of 15 minutes and they refused to see us.
