Whether it's spring, summer, fall or winter, Crocheron park is a great spot for naturetime. The park is well maintained. The benches by the pond are clean and a great spot to sit by yourself with a coffee while you watch the ducks or with your friends, and family. The park upstairs have great views of the bay, and has tennis courts, pickleball courts, and baseball courts. The stairs could be slippery during the rain or winter season so be careful. There is plenty of parking in the premises.

A lovely park with gorgeous trees, sweeping hillsides, big lawns for picnics/enjoying the sunshine, tennis courts, baseball diamonds, walking paths (some slightly hidden and therefore fun), and just a lovely vibe. There is a small area with a playground and basketball courts. There are two gazebos overlooking the water (Bay) which is visible in the winter. I come here to meditate a lot, for those tree-huggers like myself out there, it's nice and quiet and an oasis of nature. I am thankful to have it in the neighborhood. There is also a lane that goes to a wee Bridge over the highway to the bay across the other side, and another down to a large pond with geese. Also, plenty of benches to sit on all over the place.

Small little pond off to the side, which you can take the stairs at the end of the road to cross the cross island parkway to run or bike along the LI Sound. Run down playground but if ok for tots and kids. You can run about a mile loop around the park and add on by the cross island parkway if you would like

Walking at the park is great to run and walk. Love to see kids playing and dogs. And you could cross to CIP by water bike ride or run. Love it.

The park is named for Joseph Crocheron (1824-1896), a businessman from Europe. Nice park in a quiet neighborhood. It overlooks little neck bay. Two pavilions to provide shelter from the rain. A path leads to the overpass over the cross island parkway, you can walk to the path along the shore. Sectioned for bike riders and pedestrian. This path also lead you to the Baside Marina.

Great neighborhood park. With different types of terrain. From pathed walkways to upslope, downslopes, over looking Littleneck bay facing Cross Island Pkway. There is a children playground by an elementary school. Overall, people are nice and keeping the park cleaned. There is a lake down the hill where many wildlife can be seen all year around. Cooper's hawks, red-tailed hawks, Osprey, warblers, herons of a few species. There is a mini trail around the lake that you will feel so relax walking along the path. There are some erosion going on and the park or volunteering group keep the maintainence as best as they can. Planks were lay down around muddy areas. The bathrooms are by the large parking lot next to Tennis Courts. Nice little gems here in NE Queens.

This park has a great Hill for sledding. It is very wide so it can accommodate 100s of sledders at the same time. There is plenty of parking nearby. Great place to take the kids sledding when there is snow.

A fantastic place where the environment has a therapeutic effect for people who like natural pond , woods and mini hills . Then across the park you have a beautiful track for skating and biking by the waters . So in short just go and enjoy this place is amazing.

This park has a decent playground. This park is unique because on one of the hike paths it leads over the highway and then out to little neck bay.

Home base of World of Discovery camp. Parking is tight in the morning during camp drop off and pick up but otherwise plentiful. Baseball fields and walking paths present. On the other side are tennis courts and bathrooms. Plenty to do and see. Another walking path takes you over the cross island into the marina!

This place is gorgeous and a gem. Easy to find parking spots, restrooms on the premises, tennis courts, playground, ballfields, pond, Crocheron Park is an oasis of a green space. No dog park but lots of room to take Fido on a walk. There is room to find solitude and peace of mind from hectic city living.

Pretty decent area to picnic. Public parking on the street or in the park. Nice and quiet place to walk, bike, running or just lounge around. I enjoy it

Only played ball here. Outfield grass needs cutting, but still better than most in NYC. Restrooms are old but functional. I didn't see any water fountain, but brought my own. Tennis courts seemed popular

Nice, peaceful park with a smaller but adequate-sized loop around a green space that includes a baseball/softball field. There's also a pond across the street (Crocheting). Northeastern side of the park overlooks the Cross Island towards Little Neck Bay. The park actually extends quite a bit. So, I haven't fully explored the entire complex. There are other athletic fields, bball courts and at least one playground (behind PS 41).

My kids love to visit this park. We have been visiting here for 5 years already and it still gives my family that refreshing feeling from the day we started visiting here. It has a lot of facilities and outdoor activities that will surely make you enjoyable and fun. We can bring our dog as well since it's a pet-friendly place. My youngest daughter loves to celebrate her birthday here every year because of the natural comforting and refreshing environment. The place is well-taken care of and is amazing.
