Love this place! I’ve been here for lunch and dinner a few times over the past year. I’m such a fan of their roasted oysters (and the cavatelli, and scallops). Oh, and the earl grey crème brûlée is a delight, as is the lychee cocktail. Staff are super friendly.

Sagaponack is a hidden gem in Flatiron district. Beautiful decor and amazing food. Looks like there was a holiday event going on in mezzanine floor. What a great place to get together with friends and family! We started out with bunch of oysters, fluke tartare and gambas al ajillo. Presentation, texture and taste of fluke tartare was sensational! Oysters were so fresh and loved all different toppings. For main course, surf and turf was the big winner! Dry aged ribeye and lobster were packed with flavor and big enough portion to share for the table. Thai milk tea cake was so good. I don’t like sweets but ended up finishing the entire cake! We had an unforgettable holiday gathering at Sagaponack and can’t wait to come back to try different food.

Our team had our group dinner at Sagaponack and it far exceeded expectations. We destroyed several plates of oysters from raw to cooked and they were fresh and delicious. All prix fixe options gave everyone the perfect selection for their food preferences. We rounded out with delicious desert and Nespresso Martinis! We were a group of 13 and the service was flawless. No one was left waiting on their drinks or food. The area where we were sat was perfect and not too loud so we could all enjoy each other's company. Thanks to Kyung for exceptional customer service. Highly recommend and we all said we would come back when visiting the city.

Overall, it was a great experience at Sagaponack. This was my first time there, and it won't be the last. The hospitality was much appreciated from trying out different bar snacks that were offered, such as the plantain chips and honey/seasoned popcorn and the calamari. The arugula salad was fresh and just enough from the 3 course menu they have. The salmon was cooked perfectly and tasted great. But, the soy sauce topping made it a little salty. However, the bed of rice helped to balance out a little of the saltiness. The carrot cake was delicious, and I loved the presentation. My drink was top-notch, and I had 2. The shrimp dish was good as well, and it was a little bit salty as well. Highlight of the evening was the creme brulee, EXCELLENT! A nice place to eat and talk with friendly and attentive staff, had a really nice time. Just lay off the salt a little is my only criticism.

Sagaponack was a great find. Service was phenomenal. Best oysters in a while. Brussel sprouts were great. Only got pictures of the scallops and Thai milk cake. Both were delicious. The Thai milk cake was unlike anything I’ve had in a while. Kyung, managing partner, came by our table and chatted for a bit and was very hospitable. Definitely recommend this restaurant.

It's a great place to hang out with friends. All dishes that we ordered, from small bites to large plats, are all shareable. Each dish's presentation is on point, and the attention to detail is appreciated. No dish tastes too heavy or under-seasoning. Some plates took time to prep because these are ordered to make.

Phenomenal seafood spot in flatiron and true neighborhood gem!! Offers a la carte and tasting menu choices. EVERYTHING on the menu was delicious! Hard to pick a favorite dish. Salmon and fluke apps were up there as were the cavatelli, risotto, and Brussels sprouts. Good service, good drinks, and good ambiance. Left immensely satisfied and look forward to returning soon! Sagoponack is definitely flying under the radar right now, but you will be delighted if you go!

Excellent spot. Not pretentious, great food quality and friendly staff. Fluke Crudo was a dish to remember, and the Thai Milk Tea provided an excellent finish to the evening. Everything was cooked perfectly and not needlessly over-seasoned; natural fresh seafood flavors were able to shine through. Great for a casual date, would absolutely return.

Always an amazing experience (food and service) at Sagaponack. Photos shown from a prior dinner. Go to items to order - Oysters, Salmon Crudo (DF, GF), Fluke Tartare (DF, GF), Hanger Steak (GF), Parmesan Fries (V), Chicken bites. Sitting at the bar is also a great choice. Returning diner who decided to host an alumni event for 30 guests on their 2nd floor private space. With the alumni events that I organize, I try to find and support high quality restaurants. Sagaponack is the ideal place that meets the characteristics of an open private space with great hospitality. Would highly recommend given their approachable pricing for the event menu options that fits across many budgets and group sizes (up to 40 people). Thanks again for the attention Kyung (owner) and co-event coordinator, Ashley provided leading up to and the great service by the staff during the hosted event including the personalized touch for the customized menu graphic which was noticed and talked about by many of the alumni attendees! Even an interested alumni guest who was not able to join commented on the invitation "Btw Sagaponack is a great choice. Kyungil the owner is a good dude."

My friend randomly selected this restaurant as it was close in proximity to where we work. I’ll be honest with you, the service great! Kueng was an exceptional host and his recommendations were spot on. I’m very big on service and experience at restaurants and I believe the choice of music is key to creating that all round experience. 5 out of 5 for sure with the music taste of the restaurant. The foods were delicious, the chicken with mushrooms and the Thai Mill Cake were my highlights, SO DELICIOUS. I’ve attached photos of all the dishes we ordered and I can confidently recommend this restaurant if you’re in search of something chill with a delightful ambience. The only reason it’s not getting a 5 star from me is because of the hooks placed directly behind you to hang your coat. A coat check will be better. But all in all, great restaurant!

Sleeper restaurant with very solid seafood! Love the fluke tartare with tobiko and coconut sauce and the dressed oysters. Also the shoyu butter rice that comes with the salmon is very addictive. They do large format specials as well, like paella on the weekends. The Thai iced tea cake is a great way to end.

Delicious and unique menu - a mix of Mediterranean and Asian flavors. We tried a bunch of small plates, our favorites were the salmon tartar, oysters and ironically the chicken bites. Plus their lychee cocktail and thai milk tea cake were incredible. Good deal during happy hour, will definitely be coming back!

Had a great dinner with a large group at Sagaponack and everything was amazing. We came for restaurant week, and the food and service were top-notch. Between us all, we tried everything and it was all delicious. I especially loved the Gambas, miso hake, and matcha panna cotta. The group also liked the various cocktails they ordered! A couple in the group is getting married soon and the manager came over to congratulate them and even gave us champagne to toast to them! It was so thoughtful. I will definitely be back!

Every single meal I’ve had here has been an absolutely delightful experience. The service staff is friendly and skillful—anticipating my needs while exceeding what one expects of an elevated neighborhood restaurant. The food has been exceptional since they’ve reopened during the pandemic, with the menu going through refinements with each season. The wine selection and curation has been *chef’s kiss* each time, and the cocktails are inventive (and also like super delicious). Generally spacious and during the pandemic’s peaks, they were able to adhere to social distancing very well. Great for events, too, as they have a second floor that overlooks the bar. The oysters come beautifully dressed but if you’re looking for that perfect IG story, look no further than the fluke tartare. If you’re not feeling seafood vibes, the kabocha curry’s a really solid option as well. Seriously impressive, especially considering that they rebranded during the pandemic and have been able to continuously improve since then. Props to the team!

Nice cozy place for great drinks and seafood. Portions are on the smaller side so order everything from starter menu...everything is delicious and you won't regret it. Definitely try dressed oysters.

We ordered the very well priced tasting menu, which was amazing!!!!!! Great atmosphere and the service was phenomenal, in addition to the tasting menu we ordered the chicken skewer a la cart and that was fantastic. Must return to tryout other dishes! PS, if you order the risotto, 10% from that sale goes to World Central Kitchen which is a great cost!

4.25 stars. Food was very tasty and the presentation was great. Service is a little inconsistent as we had different wait staff asking us multiple times what type of water, and then what drinks we wanted, despite already placing our order with another staff who stopped by. Wait time for food between our smaller share plates and large share plates were very long too.

Had a great time here, the ambience, food, and service were all great. The R-squared seasonal cocktail was so good and not too strong, tasted just like fall. The Parmesan fries were delicious and the accompanying aioli was great too. We ordered the steak to be medium and it was cooked perfectly. The sauce and side of potatoes also tasted so good, overall an amazing entree. I also enjoyed the Thai Milk Cake dessert, not too sweet. Overall I think the side, big entree, and dessert were enough food for our party of 2. Throughout the night I found that the waitstaff was very attentive and they were able to accommodate for my allergens. Would love to come back here someday just to hang out at the bar! Definitely recommend.

Delightful dinner, the fluke tartare was a masterpiece, perfectly balanced! Loved the bay scallops with mushroom and peas as well as most of the other dishes. Definitely recommended! We’ll be back

My friends and I found this place online as we were playing ping pong in the area and OMG what a gem! The food was well prepared and delectable, it was plated beautifully. Everything was mouth-watering and amazingly done!

Love being back in NYC! Celebrated absolutely nothing on a random Sunday. Having dined in many of the places that Chef Joseph Yi had worked I was really looking forward to this meal and it was fabulous!! The tasting menu had offerings that pleases a varied palate. Three raw oysters (of course added the optional caviar oyster) kicked off the experience with flavors varied from a mild spice to the cooling sensation of yogurt and caviar. The fluke tartare was almost too beautiful to eat. I rarely eat roasted oysters and was surprised by how much I enjoyed the brown butter & vadouvan curry flavors. Surprisingly the cavatelli with italian sausage, ricotta, kale was one of my favorite courses and the sauce was light and flavorful. The branzino was perfectly cooked and another course that required a spoon so as to not miss any bite. The Thai Milk cake was a perfect ending to the food journey. We enjoyed a mocktail as well as sake and when a course was delayed, the server kindly offered me more sake which was welcomed. The service was attentive and unobtrusive and the decor trendy sea side feel. Hope they consider opening a place on Long Island for which the restaurant is named. Thank you for a wonderful and affordable experience. Definitely coming back with friends!

I went on a Wednesday after work for drinks and oysters. Everything was great. The service was attentive. The bartender was amazing (drinks were on point) and the oysters are so yummy. I honestly didn't want to go home. It was just a relaxing, comfortable good time.

My friend took me to this restaurant while i was visiting NY for the first time. The moment we stepped foot in the restaurant we were warmly welcomed by the kind staff. The hospitality of the staff played a huge role in making our experience extra special. From the professional hostess, to the attentive server which refilled our water constantly and the bartender, all of them made sure to explain every dish and every drink we ordered in small detail. Even the manager, Kyung engaged with us in a pleasant conversation. The restaurant had a cozy, warm atmosphere. It was my first time having seafood and I loved every second of it. Our bartender was Alex and we started with the Buena Siesta and Harana cocktails, which were really tasty, not too sweet, not too sour, and perfectly strong, but not overpowering. Our server was Ami and she really took her time explaining all the dishes. We started off with the Dressed trio oysters. Besides the beautiful and detailed plating, the taste was phenomenal. My favorite one was the cucumber one. Then we had the roasted oysters and the Gochujang butter one has a special place in my heart. The Salmon crudo was fresh and perfectly sweet. The shrimp was so good and the bread was the best I had in the States. The star of the show was the Mussels plate. The sauce and the way they were cooked were absolute perfection. The salmon was also really good, but the rice was amazingly cooked and the sauces were really tasty and savory. We also had the brussel sprouts which were sweet, but a bit bitter. The desserts we had were some small cookies with bourbon and orange and the Thai milk cake. I'm usually not a fan of desserts, because I don't like sweet things too much, but the cake was absolute perfection. I was already full by dessert, but I ate all of the cake. It was sooo good, I fell in love with it. Overall, It was an amazing experience, the food was awesome and shoutout to the amazing staff members! I will definetly be coming back!

One of my favorite spots in NYC. Always going back to a few personal favorites such as the oysters, apricot drink, and their seafoods. I had paella this time and it was cooked with bomba rice and it absorbed all of the seafood flavors. I was told that they use lobster stock to flavor the rice, which was impeccable. I’m a sucker for seafood and it had clams, mussels, squid, shrimp, and more. Literally it’s heaven for me. I was so surprised it had chorizo and saffron!!
